Great from beginning to end. Promptly answered phone when called, arrived on time for appointment, had all the parts needed on hand. Jimmy was very professional and courteous. He installed new springs, straightened out the track (it had shifted over time) and installed a new motor that we had bought. He made sure everything was running smoothly before he left. L&S readily honored their discounts and I'm sure that if anything were to go awry with the garage door that they would come out and make it right.

Called on a Sunday...got a response within the hour...technician came on a late sunday afternoon...diiagnosed problem...clearly explained options and prices. came back on tuesday to install new motor...worked around my schedule...very professional and knowledgeable.

He arrived on time, was incredibly professional throughout our interaction, and performed the service needed without any trouble. The entire process could not have been smoother. First, the technicians (Danny and Dave) arrived on time. They were efficient and worked quickly to get the old garage door off (which was no easy feat). You can really tell that they've worked together for a while as everything was so orchestrated. Once they got everything set up, they showed me how to use the opener, keypad and handed me the remotes. I'm definitely going to be calling them for future garage door issues and if any of my friends need work done, they will get the referral for L & S.

Very efficient. I bought the $200 deal on Angie's list on a Sunday and received an email by that evening. They arrived the next day to complete the repair. Technician was professional and even re-attached some wires that needed attention on our switch. I would not hesitate to call them and take advantage of the deal for replacement springs, if that is what you need.

My husband called about 8:15am today. He was told they would send out a rep within an hour. Jimmy arrived, determined the problems, and fixed it all. From first phone call to the finish of work was only 2 hours. What a great company and employee. They also guarantee the work for 3 years. We are extremely happy with it all. Thanks!

Initially we thought only the cable was broken, however when Jimmy inspected he showed us that the spring was also broken. He told us to go back to the Angie's List for the $200.00 discount for the spring replacement and safety inspection which would save us $149.00. Jimmy was not only courteous, but was very fast and explaining as he worked. I would definitely call them for any additional work and would recommend them very highly.

My door would not open and needed an adjustment. Door works now and opens quieter than before. Satisfied with the work done, very professional. Keeping their number to use in the future and refer to others.

Blayne is Gentleman neat soft spoken,and right on time to replace broken single spring on my Garage door.He did his job professionally. Clean up area and tuneup garage door. I liked him as he did not try to sell additional services or parts. He told me in advance Garage door noise will be same as it is coming from motor and not from door or rollers. He has all the parts in his truck and finished his job on time. I will recommend him and call him next time when there is need.

L&S were honest, professional, on time, fair, competent, and very easy to work with; I would definitely use them again.

It went extremely well! The arrival time was between 9 and 10 and he arrived about 9:03. I have him a quick tour, asked him a few questions and he explained what he was going to do. He inspected the door, found a tiny crack but didn't think it was any big deal and told me the springs of the door looked to be in good shape. I then left him alone and let him work. I checked in on him a few times to see how things were going and asked him an occasional question about the operation which he thoroughly answered. He replaced the entire track and frame holding the unit in the center of the garage which was pretty hap-hazard before. When it was all setup, he helped me program the remotes and the outside keypad, told me what NOT to touch (there are buttons on the actual unit that are programming speed, how far day the door goes, etc which he suggested I don't touch, and I agree!). He then swept the garage after his work. He also took the old unit with him so we didn't have to dispose of it. He then went over the operation, oops, the control on the wall didn't work. He immediately went to find the problem. Turns out he was trying to use the existing wiring in the wall since it worked before, but now there was short somewhere. He quickly rewired the wall switch and got it working. He went over whatever maintenance I should be doing and the warranty information. We went from a Genie GX, loud, noisy, rattling, security code set by dip-switches, installed oddly by a previous home owner to a professionally installed Marantec M4700e that it stunningly quiet, super secure, and an amazing garage door opener. Highly recommended!

We purchased the $99 Garage door Tune-up Plus Roller replacement from Angie's List Big Deal because our garage door opener and rollers sounded like a thrashing machine. Blayne, the owner of L & S Garage Door, called us very shortly after our purchase to schedule the work to be done. We agreed on Friday July 19, 2013 between 8am-9am. Blayne was promptly here just before 8am, but lingered in his truck so as not to disturb us before the agreed upon time. I made myself visible to him and then he came to the door and introduced himself. I opened the garage door for him and you could hear the rattleing-grinding sound that the motor and rollers were making. He said he would look into the situation and conduct his tune-up in hopes to have a smoother running and quieter door opening for us. When Blayne finished the job (within and hour) the door not only opened and ran more smoothly, it was considerably quieter and just hummed along very nicely. He told us that he cleaned the various components, lubricated them, adjusted the spring tension and replaced the rollers. All of this in less than an hour, I might add. He was very personable, professional and efficient. Our garage door works better than it has in a very long time. We are quite pleased with the workmanship, price and promptness of Blayne and would surely use him again in the future. We have rentals and will keep his card handy for those properties as well. If you are looking for honest, reliable and efficient workmanship he is your man. He could have easily sold us on a new garage door opener because of its age, the noise and its performance , but he never tried to oversell us on anything. He said he hoped this would do the trick, but if we experienced any further problems we could address it then. We appreciated his honesty to the max. We are very satisfied with him and his company. Very happy with the work performed. L&S removed my old wood door and replaced with a new steel C.H.I. garage door. Also, relaced old garage opener with new LiftMaster unit. Installation only took about 6 hours. Installer explained all the features and operation of the new door and opener. All the L&S personnel were very professional and knowledgeable about their products. Would certainly use again.

This guy came in and gave us 2 remotes and then he reprogrammed whatever the other guy had reprogrammed. He said our remotes were ancient compared to the garage door opener. He was fine. When he visited, he did whatever he’s supposed to. He should have told us what the other guy did because this is his line of business. He didn't cheat or anything like that.

Great Experience!! I called and left a message for L&S Garage Door Services when I noticed a broken spring on my garage door. I received a call back right away and we were able to schedule repairs to be done two days out. The next morning the other spring was broken, so I called Blayne again to see if he could come out that day since I couldn?t get my car out of the garage. He was able to fit me into his schedule and he showed up right when he said he would. Blayne was quick to replace the springs and adjust the door. He was also very pleasant to work with and he answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend L&S Garage Door Services!!

The garage door was purchased 6 years ago from Lowes. Lowes' contractor installed it, along with a pretty nice garage door opener. Just recently the tiny plate that connected the door to the opener arm was tearing the upper panel apart. He fixed that problem by installing an ORB - Operator Reinforce Bracket. Then he adjusted the opener. The Lowes' garage door opener does not come with a ORB, and the ORB bracket costs an extra $$, so the installer basically installed what was in the box. That worked for about 6 years. Next time i buy a product at Lowes or Home Depot that requires some technical expertise, I will go out and get an independent company. Jimmy called ahead of his service arrival. He right on time. He was clean, and answered my questions. It took him about 2 hours. He worked at a normal pace. Very satisfied with him and the company.

When I called for service I was not able to manually get my garage door open. I was concerned because it didn't appear that I could get my car out of the garage. I called L & S and told them that I needed the garage door fixed the next day which was a Sunday so I could get to work on Monday. Blayne came out on Sunday, quickly saw that the spring at the top of my garage door had broken and recommended that I install two springs to give my door more stability. He did that in about an hour and was very professional in his approach. He quoted the price which I felt was fair and then did a little extra work to make sure that the garage doors opened easily. I was very pleased with the service.

Blayne came out to give us an estimate to repair our garage door and then stayed to complete the work. We needed our door repaired and even though he pointed out other potential flaws in our door he fixed it as he said he would and charged us what he estimated.

Blayne arrived on time and performed an excellent job. Really easy going and efficient. Had some previous experience with another business listed on AL a few years back.
