2" holes were drilled in 2x4 wall studs for 1/2" pipe, upstairs waste pipe was not plumb (off about 1 1/2" over 8'), overall 2nd rate job

I was initially pleased with most of the work. My powder room mirror was broken and instead of being offered a new replacement mirror I was offered an old spotted mirror which could not be used. I was not satisfied with the framing of the mirror . They attempted to fix it but were not able to get it to lay flush against mirror. The paint was a bit thick around cabinet. The sink stopper was missing and towel rack fell after hanging a towel. They did a good job done on smoothing the walls before painting. They also did a good job on the installation of the counter top. Workers were friendly and respectable. One of the worker speaks very little English so communicating was difficult. In less than a year the paint is peeling off the bathroom cabinet, toilet had to be reinstalled. The toilet was never end secured & always rocked. Toilet paper holder fell off, framing around mirror buckled, the thick paint on the edges had to be smoothed and painted over.

Kyle is a super nice guy. He and his workers did a good job with both projects. The work was done on time and on budget. There was some lag time between the two projects but that was probably as much my fault as Kyle's. I would use Kyle again for small to medium sized projects around my house. Thanks Kyle!

Kyle responded very quickly to my call. He was very upfront about the possibility of hidden damage. When we agreed upon a time,Kyle and his crew were very punctual. They worked hard and finished the job in one day. The drywall texture matched existing texture and the repaired area looked good. The crew were polite, cleaned up after themselves and showed me what caused damage and where they re-routed vent. Kyle is a good guy and comes across and is trustworthy. We are anticipating a couple more jobs for Kyle and recommend him

Kyle installed a door for us in our home. He was nice and courteous. He accidentally installed the weather stripping on the door incorrectly so we had to go back and fix that. But everything else went well.

Kyle and his assistant have been out for service at my house. They were here for two days. They worked very hard, laying hardwood floors and laminate floors for me in two rooms. Also they helped me move furniture. Kyle got the rest of the plumbing done in the upstairs bathroom. In the kitchen I had to replace the sink, tiles and fixtures. They did that beautifully. There were a lot of fix up projects they did around the house. They had many helpful suggestions and tips. So pleasant to work with. Everything they did looks great. True gentlemen. I would highly recommend.

We had a small bathroom that needed updating. The old bathtub was removed and a walk in shower installed and tiled. A new vanity cabinet and floor tile were put in and new lighting and a new fan. We also had shelves built in the extra space that was created by taking out the tub and switching to a walk in shower. Kyle understood what we wanted and was able to help us with decisions to keep costs down while still making the bathroom much nicer than it was. His two workers were always prompt, professional, and pleasant and did a beautiful job. We appreciated that once they started the job, they worked very diligently and h****** it and were able to complete it in a timely manner. Any time we had a question and needed to speak with Kyle, we heard back quickly and he was helpful. When we asked for a minor replacement of a tile that appeared to have a slight defect, it was immediately taken care of. We have no complaints at all and wouldn't hesitate to have more work done by him.

Each bathroom took about 6 days. Kyle's guys were very polite, hard working, and seemed more concerned about quality than "moving fast" - which is what I prefer. They were punctual and detailed oriented. They respected the occupants' space and kept the working areas as clean as possible as with any remodeling or construction some kind of dustiness is expected. I also noticed on a few occasions that the guys take pride in their workmanship. They always consulted me on the details of the tiling and finishing and provided good recommendations on a couple of instances. I added a couple of tasks as the project went along because Kyle's hourly labor quote was fair and the quality work. There were a couple of items Kyle's guys had to return for but they were fairly minor and fixed quickly at my earliest convenience. I will definitely use Kyle's services again in the future. I recommend Kyle if you're looking for good quality work with reasonable pricing. His final invoice was consistent with the original estimate.

I did get a number of quotes from other contractors which were all comparable. I selected Kyle as I felt he was professional and the references that I contacted all had good experience with their bathroom remodel. Our remodel was completed on time and we are very happy with our new bathroom. Kyle recommnended a staggered tile pattern for our shower and bathroom floor instead of the traditional pattern which turned out nicely. They were very responsive to my questions. We did run into some challenges in constructing the shower which was resolved.

The countertop and backsplash turned out first class. The refinishing of the cabinets was truly a miracle - they look 95% new again. Only suggestion would be a bit better communication, but I would definitely recommend Kyle Beym Construction.

We last used their service 9 months ago and we ended up nothing going through with the deal. We were really frustrated with the bid so we just cancelled the deal. The bid was not very thorough and he wasn't very good about breaking it down when we had questions about what to do with something. It was hard to breakdown the materials versus the hours and because it was a “Big Deal” the hour should have been a discounted rate and it was really hard to breakdown the “Big Deal” hours because that was on the committee partial of the project and the “Big Deal” wasn't gonna cover the whole project but he wasn't able to breakout the “Big Deal” hour and the rate versus the additional work that we were going to be asking him to do. The guy that came out to do the bid was perfectly nice and friendly it just seems that he didn't seem to understand what I wanted from the bid. So, it took a couple of rounds and then we just gave out and went with another provider.

Kyles crew consisted of two workers. Artero and Felipe showed up ready to get things going on the first day. They were on time and prepped the house by putting down drop cloths from the front door of the house all the way to the bathroom. They worked from the minute they arrived until they left only stopping to eat lunch (45min - 1hr). They were polite and clean and very considerate of our home and made sure they cleaned up everything at the end of the day. Kyle was on site the very first day and at least 2 additional days thru out the project just to make sure we were happy with the way things were going. He was always easy to reach for questions. E-mail worked better than phone which is understandable as he has many crews and is very busy with multiple jobs going on at once, but was always willing to come by if needed . Artero and Felipe communicated very well with us, always asking and clarifying items with us to make sure everything was installed as per our wishes. The only hiccup was whether the tile had been sealed or not. Kyle came out one morning himself and sealed the tile only to find out later that it had been done . But this only added to our pleasure with Kyle as he went out of his way to make sure that it was done correctly . We couldn't be happier with the finished project. It took a total of 9 working days to complete It is our intention to use Kyle in the near future for our kitchen remodel

Overall it went very well! They started on time, worked all day six days a week, and finished quickly. Demo was accomplished with a minimum of dust and disruption. Tiling, painting, plumbing, electrical was quick and the finished product is beautiful and very functional. Two bathrooms were remodeled and they are wonderful. Kyle was open to questions and a few small changes and to adding extra work. We were out of town for part of the job and the work continued without us, really great. We had the house cleaners come twice during the construction and they all worked with each other very well. We have recommended Kyle to friends and will continue to do so.

This was my first experience in a long time hiring a contractor and it was a great one. I didn't follow "Angie's List" advice to get three quotes before choosing someone. Once I met Kyle Beym, saw that he had won awards with Angie's List and read all the reviews and how professional he responded to the only two negative ones, I thought his price was fair and I moved forward. I had the same two workers on both projects and they were GREAT!! Arturo was knowledgeable and had good ideas (since I didn't really know what I was doing) and he even did some little projects (replacing fluorescent light bulbs in the garage) that needed to be done. He and Felipe were on time every day and worked so hard. They were professional, friendly, polite and respectful. I couldn't have asked for better service. Although there were a few weeks in between the two projects, each bathroom was done in a week. I highly recommend them and will definitely call Kyle when I'm ready for my kitchen remodel!

3 times I asked them to demo the bathroom and they didn't so I fired them and then had to use Angies list on there own deal to get only part of my money back. Angies list was terrible, they thought that they had no responsibility. They paid him up front and didn't want to be a part of my problem with them once the work had started but I paid Angies list and not the contractor so he was unhappy with having to pay me back and pay Angies list so every one was unhappy. If I had to sue Angies list would have been number one on the complaint because I paid them on the big deal and just so you know when you use Angies list to contest if it is settled you have to give a B rateing! So be careful of any B rates when you search Angies list. I have done Groupon and they do not pay the groupon until the work has been finished so I have never done an Angies list big deal since this bad experience

I had a good experience with Kyle Beym Home Improvement.

Kyle was very nice as were his two workers. He was punctual and responsiveness. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the work performed was not satisfactory. In his defense, he came back and re-did some of the work and gave us a break on the overall price, but I was still left with broken and scraped tiles. We had them do a shower and bath re-tile using glass tiles and to replace the bathroom fixtures in the shower, bathtub and sinks. It took much longer than expected, we had to re-order tile three times and still ended up with cracked and scraped tiles. Some of this was due to the sub-contractor who put in the shower stall. When we told him that he cracked our tiles, he stated "Well that's what happens with glass tiles." Kyle came back and fixed some of them. Three weeks after the job was completed, we had a leak below the bathtub running into our kitchen cabinets downstairs. Kyle came back and fixed the leak. As I said, he was very responsive and attempted to do the right thing to correct the problems, but the overall job was not up to what we expected.

I called and left a message but no one returned my call. They must not need the work.

Everything went over well. No complaints. Will hire again.

He and his staff are absolutely A plus. They are great workers and great people. They are really professional and trustworthy. They are creative and know what works. I'm going to miss them because they're very nice people to have around the house.

Before he gave me the quote he sent some pictures about the jobs he had done. His quote was approximately for $5000 to $6000 for one bathroom and $10000 or so for the other bathroom and it had some allowances for certain items that we needed. The price was pretty fair and reasonable compared to some of the other ones that I had got that were from Angies List. Overall, the people that I had talked to, who had who had come, his price was very good it seemed but he just did not have a lot of information to show me. Some of these guys come out with all their literature, pictures, job that they have done, all that kind of stuff but Kyle being the kind of contractor really did not come out with any such of any materials. He came just take the measurements and to take a look and did not come back with a quote as to whatever the cost is and give you some allowances for tiles and stuff like that. As for his responsiveness he did get there right away and that was really good but he really has not done much of a follow up or anything like that. Quite possible I would use him in the future.

The remodel went very smoothly. Took 6 days and an extra half day waiting or fixtures (I ordered online) to arrive. The workers arrived on time, worked 10 hour days, cleaned up everyday. Kyle's team were all very nice. I felt very comfortable having them in the house.
