This was a wonderful experience - from start to finish. We met Kyle for the consultation. He was very professional and knowledgeable about remodeling overall. Immediately after meeting Kyle, we hired him. We agreed to purchase all the materials and Kyle would provide all the labor. He told us where to go to get the best prices on materials. We took his advice and were very satisfied with the materials we purchased. We then agreed on a date to remodel. Next, the remodeling began. We met with Kylie's crew - Timo and his son. They would be on the project from start to finish. They arrived on time every day, cleaned up any mess made and were very professional. They did excellent work. As our bathroom evolved we could see the quality craftsmanship from Kyle's crew. The floor and shower tile came out beautiful. Kyle checked in daily to make sure things were going well. Everything went well and we love our new bathroom. We are definitely considering Kyle to remodel our kitchen (in the near future). This experience was the BEST experience we've ever had with a contractor. We definitely recommend Kyle and crew for all your modeling needs. A+ Overall!

The thing I really like about Kyle is that he is very prompt about getting back to me and when I needed to make changes, he got right on it. His guys always arrived on time, were really hard working, very neat and clean, very polite and respectful of my home. I needed some other stuff done beside the bath, and he did that for me , no problem. Kyle is very honest, and I never had any surprises. My parents are needing work done also and I'm contacting Kyle about doing work for them as well.

My kitchen ceiling light fixture was hanging by the electrical wires. Kyle arrived early and, not only fixed the problem, he fixed the chain links that had opened from the weight. I could not have asked for a better first experience with Angie's list.

Kyle was great to work with. He was nice, professional, and pleasant to have around even during other construction projects going on in my home at the same time. He did a great job on all my drywall repairs and I won't hesitate to call him out again.

I have never used Ken. Angies list thinks for some reason that I did. I wish they would stop asking me to write a review.

Kyle was WONDERFUL. He returned my original call promptly (I called on a Friday late afternoon and he called me back Sunday). He quoted an approximate price on the phone which ended up being very close to the actual price, arrived when he said he would and did the installation quickly and cleanly. He did everything he said he'd do, did it very well and was very pleasant and professional!!!! I'd call him again in a heartbeat!

For those looking through Angie's List for a general contractor (like we were)...stop here! Here were 3 of the concerns that we had when we were deciding on a contractor we've never worked with or who wasn't recommended from someone we know/knew... Q. Is this general contractor professional? A. Not only is Kyle Beym professional but his entire staff is as well. Over the course of a month his employees were on site every morning at 7AM...never late, and started working when they arrived. Throughout the project Kyle's Foreman provided updates from the previous days accomplishments and reviewed progress. Kyle also took a person interest in the project and was very visible and directed his team with exacting direction. Q. How do I know I'm not paying too much for the work I want done? A. For us there was only one way of answering this question...get 3 quotes for the project. The quoting process tells volumes about a contractor. Kyle was one of 3 general contractors bidding for the job. Pricing was never shared between the contractors and they were all bidding without knowing the other's bid. Kyle was the most responsive contractor of the 3 and was quick to return phone calls and emails. Kyle provided guidance in the work requested to better answer questions regarding price and scope of work. Other contractors were vague in their quoting, not wanting to provide quotes for certain portions of the jobs until they were already working on it. Kyle was not only the better company through the quoting process but also was the most reasonable. At the end of the day, Kyle runs a company for profit...he's not out there to take advantage of customers and provides competitive pricing for his work. Q. How do I know that the quality of work from Kyle Beym Home Improvement is of the highest quality? A. Kyle's staff are professional. Not only do they carry themselves as professionals their work speaks for itself. They take pride in the job and are very attentive to changes requested as part of the process. You can feel safe allowing them to do their best...you'll be happy with the quality and level of service (it has alot to do with quality). The project scope was to take 3 weeks. They nailed it in the time they said they would. I'm sure you've heard of horror stories where the contractors drag out projects and something as small as a 1 week job takes 3 weeks. NOT THE CASE with Kyle Beym. He sets the goal to complete the project on time and that's exactly what was done. Communication is key in any contractor. You have to communicate with your contractor and trust that the contractor communicates any delays or issues as they come. The entire time Kyle's communication was great. It was more like being on a team and getting the project done. He did an excellent job. Overall.... The remodel project was done within budget and on time. I'm not sure many can say that with remodel work but WE SURE CAN. A huge thank you to Kyle and his team for front loading the work and powering through to see it done! I would not only recommend Kyle to ANYONE but have already begun doing so. Thank you very much. We love it!

Kyle arrived on time and replaced the bath faucet to my satisfaction. He was polite and the price was reasonable for the work performed.

We hired Kyle to handle a long list of repairs and minor renovations for a house we bought. We were very pleased with the results. Kyle took care of the problems very quickly.

Kyle and his crew were on time and worked very quickly. There were a couple of days wait for backordered material, but the crew worked overtime to complete the tasks. All workers were very polite and eager to please. I am very happy with the work.

Work was never done. Provider never returned phone calls. Could never get hold to anyone to request a refund or work anything else out.

Called and left message for contractor at 0800 on Aug. 21st. Never responded.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the work Kyle and his crew did for us, from the beginning to finish they were polite, courteous, and professional, we are going to hire him again to do some other work.

Kyle met me at the property when he said he would, started the work when he said he would and finished a day earlier than stated. All work was performed in a craftsman-like manner - no issues at all. Would use Kyle again.

I was very impressed with Mr. Beym from the start. He was punctual and offered sound advice. I was very new to this whole process as my husband used to do all of these things himself. After deciding to go with Mr. Beym I became immersed in the searching for tile and cabinets and all of those things. It was an experience and Kyle was more than willing to answer questions. He directed me to possible places to obtain all the raw materials. He uses texting and phone calls very well to keep the communication lines open. He explained when his team would be onsite and he was there to start the job. He visited the site often and helped solve problems that were beyond my knowledge base. He gave me updates and when I was not around he let me know what he thought of the progress. His "bathroom" team were very professional. They did everything that they could to keep the mess of reconstruction contained to the work area. There was very little disruption to our lives. They knew what each part of the job entailed from plumbing, wiring, tile work, etc. Since I have some basic knowledge of remodeling having helped my husband do many things I was very happy to see the care these workers took with each step. I will use Mr. Beym's services again.

Kyle & crew (Arturo & Philippe) were on time every day. They always started by protecting their pathway through the house. And they ended every day with a full clean up to where you could not tell anyone had been working. Demolition was simple and straight forward done in a professional manner & all debris / old fixtures etc. were hauled away that day. Kyle & crew always listened to our needs and answered all of our questions. Communication with Kyle & his crew regarding our needs and concerns were second to none before,during and after the job. We explained to Kyle how we wanted our travertine tile design to look and he made it come out perfect. Exactly how we had pictured it! The new larger bath tub & frameless glass door were installed perfectly & sealed properly. New vanity & medicine cabinet again were installed squared and level. We also replaced the vent fan, lighting fixture and a flush mount electric wall heater. One electrical outlet was moved and replaced. All were installed in a professional manner. All water damage was also repaired. All plumbing fixtures were replaced & the shower head height raised. They also fixed a hot water low pressure issue while in the process. The small things like towel bars & and flush wall mount toilet paper holder & final repainting were handled perfectly. Overall Kyle and his crew both meeted and exceeded our expectations! The quality of the work & the amount of work performed was well worth the price I payed a excellent value! If you want a contractor that understands your needs & does quality work.......then Kyle Beym is your guy!

I later determined this work would probably not need to be done.

In August, 2013, I travelled from Sacramento to Fullerton to help my mother in law find a contractor who could repair some dry rot problems that had been an issue for perhaps fifteen years. Her husband (my father in law) had died in February, and she was not used to taking charge of such projects. I purchased an additional city on my Angies List that allowed me to search in Fullerton, and we discovered Kyle. In fact, we had three different contractors come and prepare a bid, but Memi felt most comfortable with Kyle mainly because she could talk with him, and he listened. She was born in Japan and came to San Francisco at sixteen. She has always been very self-conscious about her English, but almost immediately she felt at ease with Kyle. She ultimately hired him to do the work and has just gushed about him and his workers ever since. He did everything he said he would do, the results are perfect, the price was exactly what he said it would be, and she is so happy. When I asked her what she most liked about Kyle, she said that he really knows how to listen, he is so patient, and he is so polite. She said that she was able to ask him questions and to point out things that concerned her, and he never once showed any sign of impatience. He was there to help her, and she is so appreciative. Being back in Sacramento when the work was done, I was pleased myself that Kyle was keeping me informed. But above all he was keeping in close communication with Memi. It would be very easy for a contractor to give a 91-year-old woman from Japan the run around, but he did not. I can't say enough about this. I appreciate his professionalism and his ethical behavior. He is a young man, but he has a bright future! I haven't seen the finished product, but Memi is just pleased as she can be. She loves the patio, and she is relieved that the dry rot in six of her windows is repaired and nicely painted (the front corbel is also repaired). Kyle and his crew should feel proud for their contribution to her at this stage of her life. It could have been a disaster, but it was a great experience. Thanks so much, Kyle! Kyle was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the project, which was done in 3 days with almost no disruption to my husband's in-home business. He was great about my last minute additional projects and changes, and even the city building department commented on his reasonable prices. I would not hesitate to recommend him or use him again for projects of any size.
