I did not choose Kyle Beym to do this job, but would absolutely feel comfortable having him work on future projects at my house. I appreciated his professionalism and follow-up after submitting the bid.

It went very well. I'm in love with my new kitchen and floor. The entire crew was very dedicated, same crew every day, in fact I would have to tell them to go home. Kyle is great to deal with, he willing to do what you request but is not hesitant to explain if he believes its not a good idea. The original tile I selected(on my own) was $5.65 per foot, he searched for a matching tile at a lower price $2.30 When there was a problem with the granite, there were no excuses, he had the counters tops removed and replaced. Kyle is very pleasant to deal with no high pressure...kinda like having a neighbor do the job Kyle was quick to follow up after the close of the job with minor fix its

Kyle's pricing was very competitive. He worked with me on design and answered all my questions, no matter how minor. Kyle's employees, Timo and Adrian, were exceptional. They were very professional, courteous, and did phenomenal work. We are very happy with the results and am glad we chose Kyle. I will definitely work with Kyle again and recommend him highly.

went as well as i wanted it to had just moved in and i still needed some fixing. I can do some handy work but there's also things i know that's its best for me to step to the side and let the professionals deal with it. And these guys were just that professionals got the job done and everything works great thanks guys.

Based on reviews on Angie's list, I contacted Kyle for an estimate for the following: float & patch ceilings (1000 sq ft), demo kitchen counters, relocate fridge, install ceiling fans (2), recessed lights (4), convert electrical outlets (4), install shower faucet. Estimate was very competitive & Kyle was hired. Kyle's crew (Timo & Adrian) were very hard working and very respectful. The job, estimated to be a week, did extend a little over 3 weeks, but the workmanship was good especially the drywall and patching where they were able to replicate the plaster pattern on my ceilings (house is a 1929 Spanish). There were some questionable design decisions made by the crew that I was not completely happy with, Kyle corrected them no problem and without additional cost. Though Kyle was not on the job site every day, he was easy to get a hold of and responds quickly to calls & texts. Overall I'm very pleased with the work Kyle & crew did and would not hesitate to work with him in the future.

Kyle is excellent Highly recommend him. Returns calls on time, very professional the same goes for his crew. We have hire kyle twice already and we will call him again to install 3 more ceiling fans. Both times the workers showed up on time when they were done for the day they cleaned all the mess that was made. Amazing workers.

Scope of our job included demolition, debris removal, electrical, plumbing, dry wall construction/finishing, tile laying, painting and cabinet installation. It also Included building permits and building code inspections. Kyle recommended several changes to our design approach that improved the look of the final bathrooms and made them more functional. Kyle hires and trains his workers well. Two workers were assigned to our project and did most of the actual work under Kyle?s supervision. All of the team members were extremely nice to interface with, had no ?attitude? problems, cleaned up after they completed work each day, worked weekends when required to meet the schedule and always showed up on time. They made no false promises and instead always did what they said they were going to do. We were consulted when unexpected problems arose such as a building inspector requiring a modification to meet his/her interpretation of the building code. Since all three of our bathrooms were being remodeled while we lived in the house, Kyle?s Team was most agile in scheduling the tasks such that we always had a bathroom for our use.

The staff was punctual, cleaned up after each day and followed professional practices. Kyle accommodated the changes to the job without gouging me for change orders. He also was fair in giving me back credit on some work I had done before his arrival.

The job was done on time. His price was considerably better than two other estimates. There were some minor changes that had to be made in the scope of work while the job was being done, but these still came in under 10 percent of the original estimated cost. We had some minor issues but these were quickly resolved by phone and email. I feel I got my money's worth.

This company is great! Kyle is professional and easy to talk to, as well as listening well. His crew were the same. They knew what they were doing & did it well. Every day that they were here, they cleaned up after themselves, took care with my house & had no problems. There was a delay getting started, which was not their fault, as the doors did not come in when they were supposed to, but Kyle made sure to get right to it as soon as they did. I was in a Christmas-crunch and starting to panic, but all ended well. I need some other things done and will not hesitate to call them again.

The tile is beautiful and the best part of the job. The toilet wasn't installed correctly and was causing leaks through the ceiling below. I had a plumber there doing another job when this was noticed, so they fixed it for me and also corrected the sink's hot and cold water connections for a small fee (Kyle's person had the left handle for cold and the right handle for hot.) Kyle did give me a small refund to make up for this, but now that I was running my AC this weekend, the condensation runoff (located under the bathroom sink) was leaking. In speaking with Kyle about coming to look at it, he immediately got defensive and said that since someone else had done something to the sink (corrected Kyle's mistake of reversing the connections) he would probably have to charge me. I would rather pay the nice plumbers than deal with Kyle.

Kyle is very responsive and puncutal. I submitted a request from Angie's List on a weekend, and he called me the next Monday. We set up a time for the estimate. He told me that he would be at my house at 8:15am. By my past experience, I prepared myself to wait at home until at least 9am before somebody would show up. But by 8:20, Kyle was ringing my door bell. So my first impression was very nice. The estimate came back to me in a day or two. Before I made decision, I asked him some questions through emails. Each time he replied me in one day, usually at the end of the day, or early the next morning. After I decided to go with his bid, we had to wait about 2~3 weeks because of his job schedule. During this period of time, I also asked him many quesitons. And again, each of my email/voice mail was answered promptly and professionally. I knew I found the right contractor. When finally it was our turn, Jorge and Luis were the two guys doing the job at my house. Kyle would stop by my house some times to check on the schedule. He also helped me to pick up my orders of the tiles and shower door. Jorge and Luis worked hard and showed up every morning around 7~7:20, and worked until late in the afternoon. They even came on one of the Saturday. So everything went smooth. It was all well planned, except that we had to wait a couple of days for the granite place to fabricate the vanity top, which delayed the process a little bit. Kyle found the earliest possible time to come back to my house to wrap up the entire job after the vanity top was installed. So even with the delay, the whole thing was finished in 2 weeks. The team kept the job site clean. At the end of each day with major job, Jorge and Luis would sweep/vacuum the stairs, threw away trashes. They hauled away the construction trashes with their truck for me. So I didn't have to do a thing about those trashes. Kyle and his guys are very polite. They did a very nice job on my bathroom remodel. Thank you Kyle and Kyle's team.

Kyle and his crew were great to work with on this project! All concerns were addressed promptly and professionally. They are definitely on my call back list for future projects!

We are very satisfied overall. We received great service in all regards. The work was performed in a timely, curteous and professional manner. We supplied the materials, he supplied the labor, tools and some tile supplies. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS!

Kyle and his employee, Salvador, are wonderful. They've been doing various jobs for us for years and never disappoint!

After struggling with a couple contractors to get our kitchen mostly done, we used Angie's list to find someone to complete the job and clean up some of the sub par work that had been done by previous GC's. Kyle came in and got it done in the time he had estimated. His guys did a great job with the backsplash, texturing and priming the ceiling, patching wall and ceiling areas , and painting. His guys worked fast, they were super clean, and did great work. Our kitchen looks great now, and we'll definitely be using him for our next project. Thanks Kyle.

Once the work got started, the workers did an excellent job of installing the caps. My main concern was making the proper cuts to the caps in order to go around a couple of radius turns on the retaining wall. I wanted to have each cut to be the same as the last and have good symmetry. The workers were able to make the cuts just as requested and the caps look perfect. I cast the caps and there were only a limited amount to use in order to cap the whole retaining wall and they did not waste any. I was very happy with the work that they did and the time it took to get it done. Kyle is a real busy contractor so I did have to wait for longer than expected but it was well worth it.

I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness, quality, and professionalism of Kyle and his workers, to the point that I've already asked him to give me quotes on additional work in the house. I had a 3/4 bath (shower, no tub) that was 25 years old and needed a complete rehab. The shower stall was small and had tile damage, the vanity and fixtures were losing their finishes, the sink was cracked, and there was a light bar above the mirror in a space that was too short for this configuration. The floor was old vinyl self-stick and was warped. Kyle's crew: 1. Removed the old shower, flooring, and all fixtures. 2. Removed wallboard so that the shower space could be expanded across an end wall. 3. Installed a new drain for the shower, which required some rework of the vent after the inspector came and requested a different configuration for the vent. Poured new cement for the floor, and installed a shower pan. 4. Installed insulation in exterior wall. 5. Brought the electrical outlets up to code (GFI) and installed a new dual-switch so the sconce lights and shower fan/light could be operated separately. They brought wiring to the sides of the medicine cabinet so sconce lights could replace the old "above the mirror" light. 6. Moved the shower plumbing to a different wall. 7. Added a bench and shampoo niche at the end of the shower. 8. Tiled the shower and floor. The quality of the tiling is outstanding. Every row lines up perfectly, including at corners. 9. Installed grab bars and towel bars. 10. Painted the walls, ceiling, and door. 11. Installed a new toilet, new vanity, mirrored medicine cabinet, ceiling fan with light, and sconce lights. 12. Recommended a supplier for the shower glass wall and door. The two workers were neat, polite, very pleasant, made a point of asking where I wanted things placed, and cleaned up at the end of every work day. They arrived promptly at 7 am and worked until 5:30 pm, with just a lunch break. I've never before had a work crew that worked so diligently for so many hours. The quality of all the work is excellent, but I was especially impressed with the tiling. They worked on the tiling over 5 days (along with doing other tasks those days) and the end results reflect this level of care. Every row of tile and line of grout is perfectly aligned. There were 4 different tile sizes - walls, shower floor, room floor, and accent - and all were installed equally well. The workers were also very compliant with the couple of changes that the inspector asked for, even though the re-routing of the shower drain vent required that they dig up more cement flooring. Kyle was always available to answer my questions via email or cellphone, and he stopped by every couple of days to check on progress and be sure we were clear on instructions. I appreciated his responsiveness, since the main problem I had with a previous contractor was inability to reach her and get answers to questions. Kyle always responded to my messages the same day. While I was responsible for purchasing the tile, toilet, vanity, and all the fixtures, Kyle recommended a very good plumbing store who was quite helpful in assuring that I got all the "rough" plumbing parts that I would not have known to ask for, as well as the "finish" plumbing and the medicine cabinet and ceiling fan. He also recommended a supplier for the shower's glass wall and door, and I was equally satisfied with their quality of product and service. I purchased the tile from a local store, and got the vanity, toilet, and sconces from Home Depot, which kept those costs reasonable. I highly recommend Kyle Beym Home improvement. As noted above, this bathroom was my "test case" to see if I had found a contractor that I could work with, before I redo a kitchen and several other smaller things throughout the house, and Kyle and his crew passed the test with flying colors. I will definitely have him do the other work. This was the best experience I have had with a contractor.

We had a 6'x6' master bathroom that had a prefab shower and it was leaky, tiny and ugly. I contacted Kyle as one of the estimates to redo this bathroom. Kyle came by and reviewed what I wanted and sent me a quote quickly. I had questions that I asked in email and he answered promptly. If he had any questions about my request, he would call me. Right before the remodel started, we decided to enlarge the bathroom. No problem, quick quote from Kyle on the extra work and we were off and running. Kyle is completely flexible. The job started on January 13 and Arturo and Felipe were on time. They worked relentlessly for 6 days straight (yes, including Saturday) and were always on time. They would lay protection on my floors and furniture. When they would leave at the end of the day, they left my house the way they found it. The remodel process was amazing, they allowed me to ask questions without seeming disturbed or annoyed and would collaborate on small details. Arturo did an absolutely beautiful job on our tile, he is really a perfectionist and a craftsman. He made sure that how he proceeded was in alignment with my vision as well. On January 22 the job was complete down to the letter by noon. Clean and perfect. A beautiful bathroom! We have lived in our house over 20 years and done a lot of remodels. Most were nightmares. Kyle and his team made this painless and truly a great experience. I am talking to Kyle about more jobs because I know that I will get quality work and a reliable team on the job.

I bought a coupon - $5,319 for a 5x8 Bathroom Remodel Complete with Demolition, Labor and Materials - which included a $1200 materials allowance. I bought it the day after Christmas and Mr. Beym was able to schedule the work to begin January 2 - really appreciated that. I exchanged a couple of emails about materials. I selected a Koehler tub which was available at Lowes and told him I was keeping the Koehler toilet, Porcher pedestal sink and the medicine cabinet along with the existing fixtures. I picked tumbled traverine 4 inch tiles for the floor and shower area. Since there were not enough square feet available at one Lowe's, I got a list of which stores had the most, and volunteered to travel around and buy them. Had to go to three stores but got enough. They started by removing the things being retained and then demolished and hauled away the old tub, shower surround, floor tile, etc. Wood rot was discovered under the tub area and required that some floor boards be replaced. Also the new tub required some replumbing. This was not included in the coupon but Kyle provided an estimate for time and materials that was very reasonable. I asked that the bath exhaust fan be replaced which was not included in the coupon and I got an estimate for that also. It took less time than estimated to replace the floor boards and then the tub was installed. They installed cement board in the shower area and on the floor. They used elastomeric sealant under and around the free edges of the tub to prevent future water damage. By the end of day two this was accomplished and tile was being laid. It took another 2 days to lay all the tile and grout it. I met with Kyle on day 4 to select paint and asked him to pick a grout color to match the medium tones in the tiles. On the last day of work, the toilet and sink were reinstalled, the tile and grout were sealed, the room was painted and the new shower rod installed. We then let everything dry for two days to avoid problems. After work on Jan. 9th, we were able to get all the bathroom stuff, towels, etc. back in and use it. Our bath looks fantastic but, more importantly, I am really pleased with the careful construction and attention to detail the Beym Construction crew provided. They were all pleasant to work with too. The value I received was excellent. I did not use the whole materials allowance because I kept some of the old bathroom components and because I bought the tile myself. Even with the replacement of floor boards, replumbing and new exhaust fan, I ended up getting a refund of about $135 from Beym Construction. For those who are interested, the 54 sq. ft of tile cost me $245 so my net expendature was only $110 above the coupon. Highly recommend Beym Construction and look forward to working with them again.
