This is our second project together with Horizon Construction and remodeling and we have been very pleased with the work done. Mark was there all the way to supervise the workers. The workers showed up on time, did excellent work and cleaned up after. Would recommend them for your remodeling jobs.

Working with Horizon Construction was a very positive experience. Initial discussions with David, my Project Manager, were creative and resulted in a beautiful Mediterranean design to transform the street-facing view of my house. Materials were high quality and sub-contractors were professional, friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. David assured that the project moved at a timely pace, visited often, kept me appraised of every step in the process, and was always responsive to my questions and concerns. David Eskin and his team at Horizon Construction & Remodeling are top notch! Everyone on his team had a task and did it very well. The ladies in the office were very helpful and Gisell Velasco kept us informed all throughout the project. The electrician team, drywall team and the tile person all did fabulous jobs. Most notably is Sal, the tile guy. His workmanship is top notch and we were very impressed with his eye for detail. We also have to give credit to the rest of the people that worked on the master bathroom project. The framers, the hot mop guy and the guys that completed all the finishing details. They all did their jobs well. Our custom vanity is absolutely beautiful. The custom color, vanity and linen towers look like pieces of furniture. The detailing and design were exactly what we requested.

We wanted to replace our windows in the back of the house with sliding doors, to open access to the backyard and make the family room brighter. After reviewing contractors for this project, I contacted Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and David helped us choose options for our project. When we eventually came to a design decision and materials [doors and decking] we moved forward. During the project David made himself available when questions came about, to help us understand what was to take place at the various stages in construction. He also took the time to understand our expectations as we went through the build of the project! The project met our expectations, and the doors are in harmony with the whole-house exterior design. I hired Horizon to do a 500 sq ft home addition in 2003. While there are some hiccups, overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work and confident that the structure is sound. Just make sure that you include absolutely everything in the contract as it is much easier to negotiate before you sign. I am particularly pleased with the work of Nestor (painting and molding guy) and Jason (electrician) but disappointed that we can't move the furnace. They gave you a very clear estimate and broke down the payments in many phases which I appreciated. The communication with the project manager Michael was good but you did need to utilize your negotiation skills. I got a lot of compliments from the neighbors passing by my house and it was wonderful to move back to my familiar but better home. I am now waiting for them to add attic access which I didn't realize I needed (but was included in the project). Hopefully, it will be done soon.

I found a great contractor, Horizon Construction and Remodeling and I didn't need to look any further. A few years back I called Horizon and asked them to remodel my upstair's bathroom and was amazed at the quality and workmanship that was performed on my remodel. A few years later my downstairs bathroom floor began to leak water from the floor. Without hesitating I called Horizon Construction and Remodeling and got a great quote. Their work was so impressive the first time I used them and even greater the second time. I would recommend Horizon to any and all. They were perfectionist.

Great work! All individual workers (demo, shower prep, tile, electrician, plumber, wall, and shower door) worked with details, very responsible, and on time. The project management communicated with us well and did a wonderful job in organizing the work and inspections. The guest bathroom remodel took less than four weeks.

This is the second time we have hired OC Horizon to work on our home. We hired them again because we trust Mark Besnos and his team to complete the project correctly, timely and safely. The back office is super nice and they make sure to communicate scheduling, payments, and answer any questions. Due to external moisture seeping into the house, we asked OC Horizon to remove adjacent planters surrounding parts of the house. They demoed and installed new matching pavers. The front of the house needed a facelift. They removed damaged wood trim, applied various paper coats and re-stucco. They installed and painted a new front door. They painted the entire house. They installed 22 new windows, covered up existing small windows not needed, changed one slider into a single window. Our rain gutters needed to be replaced. Mark suggested replacing with aluminum, a more durable product. Mark makes site visits often throughout the project, inspecting work and making corrections if not done according to his standards. He also makes suggestions regarding structural or safety items. He worked with us in figuring out a few aesthetic items. He worked with us to make sure all work was completed to our satisfaction. We are happy with the way our house was completed. It looks new and nice. Again, we â trustâ Horizon to get the job done right.

My 91-year-old father needed work done on his house. The tile and grout on his second story balcony were no longer waterproof and subsequently, water leaked through the floor and caused damage to the garage ceiling. The garage was located directly below the balcony. After years of water soaking the rafters, beams, plywood and drywall, part of the ceiling collapsed. Upon further inspection, there was severe rotting of wood and material between the garage ceiling and the balcony floor. We noticed that Horizon was doing a very nice remodeling job on a neighbor's house. I spoke with a worker who referred me to David Eskin, a member of the Horizon management team. I also spoke with the homeowner, and they were very pleased with the work Horizon was doing. David came over, met with my father and me, inspected the damage and gave us a reasonable estimate. We signed a contract, which included proof of Horizon's contractor's license, worker compensation insurance and bonding. These were very important to my father; he wanted no liability for the project. We were more than satisfied with David and his workers. Everything that David promised was done. The project was completed in a timely manner and there were no add Ons or surprises. The workers quality of work was great; they were professional, friendly and clean. David constantly communicated with us and always gave us updates on the progress. If I had a concern, he immediately addressed it, with no excuses or upselling. The garage ceiling and balcony looks perfect, all of the stucco work and paint matches exactly to what it looked like fifty years ago when it was brand new. The experience with David and Horizon could not have been smoother. I mostly dealt with David by text and kept my elderly father out of the process to eliminate any stress on my father's part. I highly recommend David and Horizon for any home project. David is very professional, personable and responds immediately to any questions or concerns. They made our home project very smooth and with the least amount of stress as possible. We are very pleased with the finished project. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We recently worked with Mark and his amazing team to complete the addition on our home. His team was able to help us through planning stage and come up with a layout that made sense, they dealt with the city to get the project approved, and completed the addition timely. We visited their showroom and found the perfect flooring to complete the look we wanted in our home. The only delays we had were due to the city slowly approving the plans. Mark and his team were great at communicating throughout the project and we absolutely love how the addition turned out.

We have recently completed an extensive home addition and backyard and pool remodel. After several estimates from different contractors we chose Horizon and contractor Mark Besnos. This is our 2nd remodel with Horizon. We contracted them 1st time in 2017 for an interior remodel. Mark was very attentive and on top of the project from the beginning to end. The scope of the project was vast and there were a few challenges along the way but Mark was always available and on our side. The end result is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations.

We contracted with Horizon in October 2020 to remodel our kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. There were (and are) too many issues to list. Most importantly, the shower installation was so bad that there was water damage after just a few months of regular use. Tiles are popping off the wall due to moisture behind them and there is rust coming up through the grout. We have been advised not to use it further and have been without a second shower (six people in one home, all sharing one shower/bath) for nearly two years now. We have had problems with the tiles, grout, flooring, cabinets, baseboards, paint, doors, counters, and almost every aspect of the project. Throughout the project, Horizon gaslit us - telling us that everything was to trade standards when we tried to address concerns and get things done correctly. We have filed a claim with the State Contractors Board and their inspector has agreed that the job is not up to trade standards. They also requested payment before jobs were done and made us switch floor and cabinet selections at the last minute because they had not actually ordered the materials on time or verified that the materials were available on time. They had no actual project plans and so we were without laundry or a kitchen for much longer than we were supposed to be, while no workers came for weeks. Do not use Horizon! They are not honest; they do not care about quality, and they will try to wear you down psychologically and emotionally to get away with it.

A bit pricey but did great work and handled a lot of extra request for no additional cost

This my experience with Horizon Construction and Remodeling, and why I recommend them. This is the second time that I have hired a contractor. The first time was a bathroom remodel, and it was a disaster, so I was very apprehensive about hiring another contractor. We needed to remodel our kitchen, so I had no choice. I did my due diligence and research and called three companies to interview. All three I had no prior knowledge of or experience with. Out of the three bids, there was a high, a medium, and a low. After talking to them one more time I went with the medium bid company. That company is called Horizon Construction and Remodeling. It turns out I made the right choice. My experience with this company is the complete opposite from my first experience with a contractor. My Project Manager was Mark, who did an outstanding job of keeping the project moving quickly efficiently. His crews showed up on time, were professional and did quality work, from plumbing to electrical to framing to painting to cabinets all were done to my satisfaction. If something was not done to my satisfaction (which was rare), I just let Mark know about it and he would send someone to either redo or touch-up the work. Mark would visit the job site frequently. I feel Mark is honest and has his customerâ s best interest at heart. There were a couple of times when he could have charged me extra money for items that came up during the project, but he did not. Like any project we had to make some changes along the way, and Mark is very willing to work with you to make sure that you get what you want. Mark will listen to your ideas plus he has many ideas himself. He helped us a lot with our kitchen design. They started my project Oct. 11, 2001. My wife and I were hoping to have the project done by Christmas. They had it done in 7 weeks in time for Thanksgiving! The inside staff is led be Enna. They make sure everything is ordered on time. They even arrange for inspections. They are very polite and efficient and responsive. We are doing our doors and windows next and we going to have Horizon Construction and Design do the work. We recently just finished a remodel of two bathrooms using Horizon for the project. They were easy to work with and worked hard to accommodate a house with four people working from home. Working with their design team, installers, and trades people, the entire project came together without issue. They even helped us by doing some things out of order to ease the burden of a family of four using just one working bathroom. But the real payoff was in the end product. Such a pleasure to work with Mark and the entire staff at Horizon Construction. Not only did they remodel our entire house filled with furniture during a pandemic, but we did the whole process from out of town. Mark and his staff kept us constantly up to date via Zoom, phone calls, and loads of texts and emails. And the best part is the house turned out better than expected! They made sure the work was done exactly the way we planned and to our expectations, which included guaranteeing anything that went wrong. Mark was a big help in the design process which included helpful advise on where we should spend money and where we could cut corners. He also had little things done along the way, some that he didn't charge us for but that were necessary to make the house look more finished. Lastly, they took great care in making sure the furniture and home decor were protected and covered during the whole process, and whatever was moved was put back where they found it. We are so grateful for the hard work, service, and patience that went into making our house look beautifully updated!

So thankful that we used Horizon Construction for our kitchen remodel! It was an extensive project removing load bearing beams and moment frame, installing three steel beams for an open concept. We changed the footprint of the entire first floor. Mark, the owner, was our project manager. He is knowledgeable, helpful with design and trustworthy. Communication was important to us. Mark, Enna and the others in the office met our expectations. Remodel was an emotional time for us with the untimely passing of a family member. Mark went above and beyond in implementing our needs and wants with compassion. The quality of work was outstanding. Workers arrived on time and cleaned up nicely. We were so pleased with the kitchen progress that we had 2 bathrooms remodeled as well, delivered in a timely manner with quality results. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future!

We recently remodeled our Master bathroom and chose Horizon Construction & Remodeling in Fullerton to do the job. Overall, we had a great experience! We were given a fair price for our remodel and the quality of work was excellent. Everyone we worked with was polite, courteous and professional. Any minor issues that came up were addressed promptly and correctly. Our bathroom looks a million times better is a lot more functional. Bravo to David, our General Contractor, and his crew! When you realize you need work done by a contractor, a lot of apprehension may go through your mind. But those fears and doubts will be washed away if you choose to work with Horizon Construction & Remodeling in Fullerton, CA 92832. We dealt mostly with David and from our first meeting we had a good feeling about working with him and Horizon. David really listened to our ideas and gave us a few of his own which we never would have thought about. While we wanted to do a few small projects as well (painting all rooms in our house with new flooring, lighting and baseboards), our â bigâ decision was to remodel our kitchen. This was a complete gut down to the bare bones of the room then build it back up. Throughout the entire process David made frequent visits to check on progress, answer questions, and if something needed to be looked into, he was on it right away. His team always came as scheduled, and we were always looped in every step of the way. Davidâ s timeline for completion was right on target as well. It helps that we too were always ready with whatever we needed to provide such as ordering and delivery of our new kitchen appliances, picking lighting fixtures and paint colors and coming to the show room to pick out our flooring, cabinetry, countertops and back splash. And by the way, their showroom has a large array of options to choose from. We even had a few last-minute thoughts of having the facing of our fireplace redone and adding some extra lighting in the home to which David accommodated easily. Even with a few snags due to Covid 19 whereas the countertop and backsplash we picked (which had been on order for months) was suddenly unavailable, his team was on it and helped us pick back up options, to which we found we loved more than our original choices. In the office, we also worked at times with Maria and Enna, both of whom were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful to us. Davidâ s team was courteous and respectful and followed safety protocols like wearing masks. Since we worked from home, it was easy to practice distancing since we were all in different rooms. And if the workers needed to speak to us, everyone wore masks and stood apart out of courtesy. We were overwhelmed with how beautiful the kitchen turned out and were just as pleased with how refreshed and updated our whole interior looks now. We would highly recommend working with the team at Horizon because this experience helped us rest those apprehensions I spoke of in the beginning. And we achieved what we wanted in that now when you walk in our kitchen, you just say â WOW.â Thank you.

orizon Construction & Remodeling did a major Remodeling on my kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and garage. This included: New patio slab. Removal of wall and load bearing 4x4's. Kitchen island. Fireplace. New roof. New ceiling. Complete rewire of house and garage. Power panel upgrade and electric car charger in garage. Paint interior and exterior. Eitan was the project manager. He was easy to work with and there was good communication with Eitan and the office staff. The process was clearly written down and all questions were answered. I did not know exactly what I wanted and Eitan made useful suggestions. He designed the layouts and helped me select materials for the floor, ceiling, kitchen counters and bathrooms. Eitan pulled permits and all of the inspections were passed. There were often several teams of workers in the house at the same time. Eitan coordinated the work to insure that the progress was efficient and that different groups did not get into each others way. When problems came up Eitan dealt with them. Termite damage was discovered and had to be addressed before a bathroom could be completed. Building codes required that work had to stop when old flooring was removed by a hazmat company. While I thought that the quotes were high, what I got were clear goals, quality of work, management of workers, problem resolving and the overall progress of the project. I was very satisfied with the end result. The open floor plan between kitchen and family room and the removal of cupboards in the hallway, makes the house look very expansive.
