I had an excellent experience with David from Horizon Construction on an exterior project recently completely and would recommend them highly for any project internal or external. David was extremely professional throughout the entire process. From the initial call and consultation we tossed ideas back and forth, his vision was exactly what I was looking for. He promptly sent images of ideas and websites for me to review and even though we didn't exactly meet at times he was flexible to accept my idea and in the end we came up with something I am very proud of! To be honest...there where issues, but not with him! He came through and directed his team to fix not only things I found, but even things that did not fit his image of perfection....he never flinched, his quality was excellent and did not let his team fall behind! Again, I am extremely happy with the service, vision and final product and would recommend them anytime you have a project you want perfection.

The upstairs bath had been partially remodeled prior to purchasing my condo 5 years ago. It had an updated vanity and lavatory, but the tub and shower combination were the original fiberglass builder-grade enclosure and definitely showed its age of 30 plus years. I wanted this bathroom to look as good as the rest of my home with a new tub, new tile, and new flooring. Horizon Construction and Remodeling Inc. expertly gave me exactly the bath I desired. Horizonâ s showroom had ample samples of tiles and I was easily able to select the bath/shower wall tile and flooring that unified my vision. I did not have to wait long for the job to commence and all work was done as quickly as I could have hoped. The only delays were due to unavoidable waiting for inspections and a holiday that delayed one inspection. For those tasks that did not require an inspection to proceed, the trade contractor would show up the following morning. I was able to have my walls retextured and painted, a new overhead light added above the bath/shower, replace the medicine cabinet, and a new exhaust fan and all fixtures installed for the completed beautifully finished bathroom. My project manager David Eskin coordinated each trade and supplies wonderfully. All of the contractors selected for my project were very professional and I appreciate how quickly and well each performed their trade work. I am delighted with workmanship and the end results.

We had such a positive experience with Horizon Construction on our three bathroom remodel a few years back, we reached out to them once again to address a much smaller dining room project. The update was a small job but did require a skillset that I didn't want to leave to just any contractor. I wanted a trusted company to perform the room update and match existing texture at a reasonable cost. Mark and team visited, provided valuable insight and sent Leo who did an absolute perfect job. We did our master bath remodeling this year and we chose Horizon construction for the second time. Mark the owner, as usual, came up with the perfect design for our relatively small space. The design let us include a big shower, closed bathroom area and lots of closets. Something I did not think we could accomplished at first. The construction went fast considering the City closure for Covid19. They did a fantastic job and kept everything clean during the construction. We now have a very beautiful Master Bath we enjoy every day. I recommend Horizon Construction for any remodeling you need. They are very good at what they do

Our wrought iron fence was on its last leg, already rotted through. We wanted a short block wall topped by a vinyl fence. I found Horizon Construction on a couple of the â helpâ websites and called them. Eitan Beznos came out, discussed the job and provided an estimate. We came to an agreement and they started the next week. The block wall went fast, they finished the 2â H x 60â L wall in one day. It is on top of a steep 60â tall hill. The job was completed in a timely manner. All along, Eitan kept me aware of progress and status. He came out to inspect the job. At the end, Eitan and the company owner/manager came out and inspected the job to make sure we were satisfied. We could not have been anymore satisfied with the work, the timeliness, and the cleanup efforts. Horizon finished the job on the originally forecast completion date. Horizon Construction is an excellent company to work with. Not only do they do superior work using high quality product and trustworthy subcontractors who show up on time and finish in time, they are an extremely trustworthy company themselves. Our contractor, David Eskin, was always available throughout the entire process, from the beginning bid through and beyond the final approval from the city. Our project was an ADU (additional dwelling unit) which has very specific requirements in our city, and our home is also an historical one, adding even more stringent requirements to this job. David and Enna and the rest of the office staff at Horizon were ALWAYS available to us whenever we reached out to them for any of our questions or needs. We had some speed bumps, of course, there always are in construction, but the patience David showed us was admirable and provided calm where there very well could have been some chaos. We worked together through delays caused by covid19, making some vendors unavailable for some lengths of time, but not only did David anticipate the delays, he worked around them when necessary. He was fantastic. Horizon Construction is a great company; when I need any other work done, I would use them in a heartbeat, and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone I know.

we recently had our master bath shower remodeled by Horizon Construction. we wanted a universal design to accommodate his and her showers with a bench , rain shower, 2 hand held showers, and grab bars. it is a very professional job and finished on time. david and the entire crew were fantastic to work with. we are pleased with the functionality and look. we had interviewed several different contractors but Horizon was the only one that saw our vision and made it happen. i highly recommend Horizon Construction for any remodel project. susan joyce

David Eskin of Horizon Construction was the project manager for the bathroom remodel. I had a bathtub removed and a shower with a steam unit installed. Each of the workers were experts in their respective fields and the remodel turned out beautiful. I am very happy with the quality of work performed and would highly recommend Horizon for remodeling needs.

I hired Mark Besnos and Enna of Horizon Construction and Remodeling in the spring of 2019 to do a complete kitchen remodel which included removing a load bearing wall and removing a gas fireplace. The actual construction began with the demolition in mid-July and the job was completed the last week of October. I had a great experience overall despite the usual stresses of a home remodeling project (and living in the house during construction). Mark listened to my ideas and concerns and he helped me bring the beach cottage home of my dreams to fruition. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on every aspect of the project. Mark and Enna invited me to their showroom in Fullerton and showed me a wide variety of materials (flooring, tile, Quartz, cabinetry, etc.) to choose from. I appreciated Markâ s attention to detail, thorough explanation of our contract, extensive resources, and consistent open communication. Mark was the project manager for my remodel and he was onsite regularly to oversee his crew. I always felt as though my project was Mark and Ennaâ s top priority. Any time I had a question or concern, Mark and/or Enna, promptly took my call or immediately called me back. Mark was committed to keeping the project on schedule as much as possible, even when unforeseen delays occurred due to materials being held up. He always had a plan B to keep things moving. All of his crew members were very reliable, courteous, and dedicated. Many of his crew members even came to my house on weekends. I am extremely happy with my new, improved, expansive kitchen, living, and dining room. I absolutely love it! A huge Thank You to Mark, Enna, the incredible office staff (Genesis and Vanessa) and to all of the skilled craftsmen at Horizon for creating a beautiful home for my family!

Horizon construction and Remodeling did a major kitchen remodel for us including removal of walls, fireplace, and reconstruct a large portion of our ceiling. They literally transformed our kitchen! After checking out many others, we decided to choose Horizon Construction and Remodeling because of all the great reviews. After meeting the staff, our project manager David Eskin and reading all the positive reviews we knew we made the right decision. The staff is wonderful. Very caring, respectful and honest. Our kitchen turned out beautiful. We are very happy with the outcome! Demolition was right on schedule and the crew was excellent, very fast and left the job neat at the end of the day. We did however encounter a set back which caused a long pause after demolition. This lengthened the job quite a bit and added additional expense and inconvenience (we feel) could have been avoided with a more through inspection (pre-demo). All the staff at Horizon are great to work with. David our project manager is terrific. He is easy to work with and very helpful. He provided suggestions that were very helpful and added to the beauty of our job. There were times he could have lost his patience because of my indecisiveness but never once did! Heâ s a true gentleman. Caesar our cabinet maker is a master at his trade. We love his work and are so pleased with our cabinets! Something notable that you may not find in many other constructions companies. With Horizon, once the project ends, they treat you with the same kindness as the day you signed the contract. This company shines in Customer satisfaction!

All workmanship and workers were very professional and very nice.  They always cleaned after their jobs. We are very happy with the way our bathroom turned out.  Michaelangelo Roppo - our project manager was very helpful. He spend 2 days shopping with me, picking out everything was needed for the remodel. And I DO MEAN EVERYTHING.  i really did appreciate his time snd expertise.  The ladies in the office are very nice.  Enna Eskin helped me match colors and styles for cabinets and counter tops in Horizon's showroom.  I will recommend Horizon Construction and Remodeling for any of your projects 😄

We are very pleased with the way our new fireplace wall looks. Each phase of the project was done by workers who were skilled and experienced. They did their jobs quickly and always made sure the room was kept clean. The project was unique and changes the appearance of the whole room. We would recommend David Eskin with Horizon Construction to anyone thinking of remodeling any room in their house.

My wife, Kathy and I back in late July contacted three contractors to provide us an estimate to remodel our bathroomâ  s toilet and shower area. Eitan Beznos provided us, what we felt was the estimate and help. For this remodel, we were under somewhat of a time constraint to try and complete the project by 9/3. Eitanâ  s crew started demolition as promised on the day as promised. Eitan had Ron, and George come in for the rough framing, electrical and plumbing, which was completed within the first week along with the Hot Mopping. Ron and George and the hot mop person did an incredible job completing on schedule or even ahead of schedule. The main impact to the remodel, was from the city inspection crew. While we were delayed a week before we could tile the shower and the floor, Eitan and Ron had their tiling crew work the Labor Day Weekend to try and catch up, which again we were held up for city inspection. Further delaying completion. George came in to perform the finish work, even coming in late in the day, I am sure after putting in a full day on another job. The custom shower doors that have been installed are beautiful. We have had numerous construction jobs performed over the years, (pool installation, patio install, room additions, etc) and Eitan was always available either by phone or coming by to check, and everyone who worked on the remodel was friendly, professional, always cleaned up and tried to help minimalize the impact of dust, smell and noise as much as possible. I will definitely look to Horizon for any further work.

I met with David Eskin from Horizon Construction; he was very friendly and professional. We discussed the projected and my expectations. Within a few days, David had the estimate ready and we met for a second time. When we met to review the proposal, David went through everything in detail. A few days later, I called David and told him that I would like Horizon to be the contractor for my project. We then agreed on a starting date. I told David I would be out of the country during the beginning phases of the project. He assured me that wouldnâ t be a problem and would keep me posted throughout the process. I really enjoyed going to their showroom to pick out the materials for the project, I felt like a kid in a candy store. David was there through that process as well and offered suggestions if asked. Everything went smoothly for the most part throughout the process. Some issues came up regarding the electrical panel, this was no fault of Davidâ s, and he was quick to resolve the issues. David was always quick to respond to my text messages or emails to address any questions or concerns I might have had. For the most part, the project came out better than anticipated. While searching for a quartz counter top to coordinate with my existing beige flooring, I discovered Horizon. They had what I wanted and secured a backsplash with a mosaic to complete the color scheme. Mark is a hands on contractor-owner . He oversees every step of the job and there is little down time in the process. The workers willingly try to accommodate customer requests. If an installation is not satisfactory, it is corrected. Thank you Horizon for all your help making our guest/additional bathroom for my mother who recently moved in with us a place she loves. David was very kind and understanding of what we wanted and the crews that came to work were very professional. We look forward to having additional work done in our house by Horizon so all of our rooms can be just as beautiful.

Horizon Construction Remodeling in 2018 lied about getting City inspections done, damaged my home and covered up the damage, and left dangerous conditions throughout my home, leaving myself and my family at risk. For example, just some of the things Inspectors found: sharp roof shingles unattached on my roof which could have fallen and cut us; they left exposed electrical wiring in the attic potential fire danger, extremely hot pipes not insulated, which could have burnt us, and more. The City is making me remove construction Horizon did because they lied about getting approval. Do not hire them. They are a dangerous company. They also gave a portion of the remodel to another general contractor (not as a subcontractor) without my approval. This other contractor, Windex, Inc, license has been suspended and they are being prosecuted by the California Attorney General's Office. Not surprising, Horizon allowed this company to damage my back patio and completely damage part of my roof.

We are very pleased with our new master bathroom! It is gorgeous! The bathroom was gutted and Horizon replaced the tiled walk-in shower and bathroom floor, installed a custom vanity and two huge framed mirrors, and all new plumbing and electrical fixtures. They also scraped, textured and painted our master bedroom ceiling. Mark was creative in helping us with design ideas and made sure all the details that we envisioned were taken care of to our satisfaction. Enna was in the office and guided us through the process, answering any questions or concerns we had along the way. She was knowledgeable herself, or she referred our questions to Mark or Tal, our foreman. Communication was quick and constant...either by email or phone. All the people who worked on our project were courteous, competent, and kept our home as clean as possible, tidying up each day before leaving. Our project started on time and finished on time, with people working every day. We always felt we were in very good hands. With anyone else, we might have had a nice bathroom, but with Horizon we have a BEAUTIFUL bathroom! I wrote the above review in 2015... I am back today, in 2019, because Horizon just finished remodeling our second bathroom! We were so pleased with all aspects of the first project, that we called Horizon back without even contacting any other construction companies. Once again, we have a beautifully finished bathroom. Things are done completely to our satisfaction and on time! Mark worked with us on site, and Genesis and Enna were our office contacts. They were always available to us with answers to any questions or information regarding schedules and/or supplies. Thank you Horizon!!

The team at Horizon Construction & Remodeling has given us the master suite of our dreams! My wife and I love our mid-century house, but the master bathroom left a lot to be desired. Our project manager, Mike, helped us maximize the space by borrowing from a largely unused kitchenette area and was able to include every single one of the custom cabinets, appliances, and fixtures we set our hearts on. Now we have a luxurious, spacious bathroom and a lovely bar area with plenty of storage that will be excellent for entertaining guests. Although there are always some complications in a remodel this large, the whole process went very smoothly and Horizon took care of us at every step - we were always left feeling our home was in the best hands. Thank you so much for helping us fall in love with our house all over again!

From the very first phone call I made to Horizon I felt valued as a client. The office staff was always kind and helpful. Our project manager, David, was easy to work with and was always responsive to any questions or concerns. He stopped by frequently to check the progress throughout the project and kept us informed of the next phase and work scheduling. All the tradesmen involved were professional, respectful of our home, great to talk with and did an excellent job. Any remodeling project can be stressful, but I believe that the service we received from Horizon made the process as smooth as possible. We love our beautiful new kitchen and bathroom. We had three bathrooms done by Horizon and they did a good job. All construction jobs come with a few small bumps in the road, but none were game changers. The only issues we had were with scheduling. Sometimes we were told construction people would be here and no one showed up, other times they showed up without notice. Function and appearance of all three bathrooms exceeded our expectations. Project timeline was within normal expectations and project finished within budget.

Horizon Construction did an awesome job on our Kitchen Remodel. We put off remodeling for so many years but upon reading all the good reviews on this company we finally decided it was time. The outcome was exactly how I envisioned it. David, our project manager, as well as everyone in the office were always available to help us with any little (or big) question or concern. We were always told what to expect at each stage and all the contractors were very professional and always kept the work area clean each evening. I selected Mark Besnos and Horizon for an extensive interior remodel of my home. The project included removing a soffit ceiling in about half the house, installing a new support beam to eliminate a post, wainscoting in the living and dining room, hardwood flooring in the renovated areas (except the bathrooms), two new windows, and a new fireplace mantel. Mark has excellent taste. He was great at accommodating his visits to my work schedule. A project of this magnitude is bound to encounter some challenges, and Mark was good at explaining them and presenting options. The trades who worked on my home were top notch. Mark and his team were always on top of things, communicating often via email (my preference) and also texts. The end result has exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with my new, open concept, home. The kitchen is amazing, the fireplace is a focal point, and I absolutely love my master bathroom. We had some fun with the guest bathroom as well. Bottom line, if someone leaves me a house in his or her will and I have to remodel it, I'm calling Mark.
