Description of Work: I refer to him as Bill the handyman. I don't think he has a company name, but he does great work at a terrific price. I think he does almost everything (fencing, plumbing, weather stripping, tile grout, etc.) except for electrical. My wife and I have used him about five times. We love the quality of his work and his prices, plus he is a real nice guy. I highly recommend him. I consider him the commensurate handyman. I think that he has pretty much done it all. + -1 moreI had a long list, at the top of which were two items: replacing the sliding closet doors in the den and fixing the fountain in the back yard. He loaned me his hand pump and I twice cleaned out the fountain for him, but he never got around to fixing it, thought I pulled the whole thing apart. The closet doors didn't seem to interest him, either. He did the chores I listed above. This was the second time we had worked together, and I had enjoyed the first time and appreciated his work. This time was like working with a different person, not really invested in his job. Considering he charged $300 for the water heater, fair enough, the little chores also cost $300, which seems steep. He told me to call him when I bought a replacement pump, and I did, but he never returned my call.
Description of Work: Installed new water heater, but without installing plug, so cord drapes across doorway. Rehung one cabinet door in the garage and one in the dining room; fixed a sliding bifold that didn't close all the way; tightened the screws holding up the dryer vent; replaced a solar panel in garden spotlight; put molding under bath cabinet, unpainted and unprimed; installed under the counter light fixture; put in a cat door.

Description of Work: I had electrical, plumbing and dry wall repairs done. I am very pleased with all work done. I did have to wait one week after my estimate to get work done but I did not feel that was out of line, he notified me on or first phone call that he was busy for 7-10 days. Very nice person you wont be disappointed.

+ -1 moreI called him yesterday and he was able to come by the same afternoon at 4:30pm. He was on time (actually, a little early), performed the work within 45 minutes (including going to the store for parts), and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the work he does. He first took a look at what needed to be fixed, told me how much it was going to cost to get the parts required, and went to the store after I confirmed that I agreed with the price. He came back from the store and had everything fixed/replaced within 20 minutes. I would use him again in the future. Only con was that he wasn't able to come out after 5pm on a weekday (most people don't get off work till then), and said he wasn't available during the weekend. Not sure if he meant just this weekend, or all weekends.. Oh, and he has an $85 minimum charge.
Description of Work: He replaced an old moen shower cartridge in the main bath, and replaced a moen shower handle in the master bath.
