I have been with them for years. I have never really had issues with this company. They are good at calling the day before they come and they always come when they say they are going to.
Description of Work: They treat my home on a monthly basis. If I ever have issues they take care of them. My only complaint is the constant raising of price and the less effective chemicals. I guess that's an issue that needs to be taken up with the government.

As described above, even though I decided to perform the abatement myself, I would call Tamarack if I needed their services.
Description of Work: The Tamarack supervisor came and visited my house for a requested free estimate for the rat infestation in my attic. Unfortunately I forget the fellow's name. He was prompt, courteous, very helpful and laid out their straightforward options regarding one-time, monthly, and bi-monthly options and coverage. I originally called them because they did the termite inspection on the house before I purchased it. The supervisor also gave me some helpful tips about trimming vegetation that could harbor or encourage rodents around my property. Although I ended up attempting abatement myself, if needed, I would definitely call Tamarack for their services.

Very reliable.
Description of Work: I have been very happy with this company since I had this house built a year and a half ago. They are extremely responsive and have helped with an initial ant infestation, then with pigeons in the eaves as well as spraying. I recommend them thoroughly, their products are safe and effective.

We wanted a termite inspection on a home we were buying. Our real estate person recommended Tamarack. they did the inspection, and found a couple of things that we used to negociate with the owner. After we moved in, we found a door that had major dry rot, that we hadn't seen. We called Tamarack, and when they saw it, they said, "Oh, yeah, that should have been on the report." Escrow had closed, so we filed a claim with Tamarack. They said they were not responsible because the report had not been "Certified" by the bank. We hired him, not the bank or previous owner.Our Real Estate person ended up paying for the repairs. When the man was replacing the door, we showed him the threshold and jam damage, and he said, "Ooo, that's not good", but didn't fix it. Just terrible customer relations all around. Our real estate person felt very bad about the recommendation.

Response from Tamarack Pest Control
We did perform a real estate inspection at this property. It was occupied and furnished during the inspection process. This home not only received a termite inspection but also a home inspection report was completed. Neither the home inspector nor the termite inspection caught the damaged door. We agree that the door was damaged however we felt that the previous owner may have had so much clutter in the laundry room that it was not visible during our inspection. This is why neither inspector caught it. This is also why we have disclosures to protect us for a house that has inaccessible areas do to furniture, storage etc. The house had many other problems that were caught during our inspection. The purchaser opted not to fix any of the other problems noted on our report. Therefore no termite certification was ever provided. The realtor did request that we fix the door for the client and that he would pay for it. As of 6/21/13 we have yet to receive payment for the work we completed. Please consider the source of these reviews before making any decisions. I would be happy to speak to anyone regarding the issue here. Thank you, Brian Reinke President

They are reliable and it seems their treatment works. The guy that does my spraying is very nice and I hardly ever see him. I leave the back gate for him to come in and out of and my dogs like him as well. The guy is also very friendly and I will continue to use them.

We have zero bugs. It is very rare to see a spider around the house. If I do see something I can call them to come out to take care of it and they do not charge extra for that.
Description of Work: They come every other month to do a general pest control spray to keep down spiders, ants, etc.

Approximately 6 months after escrow closed, we discovered an infestation of dry wood termites. Tamarack came out, inspected, said that they had probably been there for 5-10 years. Then quoted us a price. A little surprised, we asked weren't they supposed to cover it since they provided the termite certification. No, they said, there was no visible evidence of the termites at the time of inspection, so we don't have to do anything for you. So what good is a termite certification?
Description of Work: Tamarack inspected our house for termites before we bought it. We purchased in January 2007. They issued a report indicating that there were no problems with termites.
