With some trepidation, I took the leap and "went solar." After much research, I decided on SunMade. My gorgeous farmhouse is over 100 years old with a high pitched roof, large shade trees all flanked with a huge garden. After discussing many roof options, Oz, the owner, and I decided together to go with a ground mount. From day one to the finish date, SunMade listened and answered my every concern/question making many possible accommodations. Once the final plans were determined, SunMade's young, strong, and knowledgeable crew arrived and worked as a team. Their skill, and workmanship precision was admirable. From their office, Oz, Amanda, and Tara have responded to my every call and text with answers, guidance and solutions. The before and after service is exceptional. If you are deciding on Solar...you can quit looking and go with SunMade.

I have had a great experience with Sunmade Energy from the initial contact with Deidra Mitchell, who was very professional and knowledgeable, to the final installation day. Since I added additional panels with Sunmade Energy, I have had (3) months of negative PG&E bills. In my 65 years of living, I have never had a negative PG&E bill. If your annual true up bills with PG&E have increased, I suggest calling Sunmade Energy as soon as possible. Youiwill not regret it.

It's been over a year and the system is operating like a champ. The app is awesome and our PG&E True-up was negative. Before we met with any companies, we spent dozens of hours researching panels and micro-inverters, and decided we were leaning toward Sunpower solar panels and Enphase micro inverters, which is what Sunmade’s package includes. In our initial sit-down, Duane walked us through Sunmade’s offerings and was very patient, informative and knowledgeable…no hard-sell. It appears they rely on the merit of their process, not just making the sale. He was quick to respond to questions we had early on. The installation crew was extremely conscientious and professional. They cleaned up after themselves. When accessing the attic, they put fabric between their ladder and walls to avoid marking/damaging the drywall. They painted conduit to match the house. They were very pleasant and respectful. They finished installation in two afternoons. Deidra, Julia, and Amanda kept us informed on every pending detail and activity. We were made very aware of what would happen next. Amanda discovered two panels that were switched graphically in the software and switched them back. They even paid $150 to move our satellite dish to a new location, so they could optimize panel placement. They won’t finish the install and abandon you. They’ll make sure it’s right. My wife and I rely on reviews for nearly all of our major purchases, so thank you to the former customers and their positive reviews. In the end, they were a major reason we chose Sunmade. We enthusiastically recommend Sunmade to anyone looking to install solar.
