They quoted a great competitive price and cut down our 70ft tree, removed the brush and ground the stump in one day. Very responsive.

This was a project of several trees on a property that had not had attention in 20 years. This was the best experience I’ve had with a tree service. I found Ski’s Tree Service because I had to keep looking after previous tree services did poor work and actually killed a tree. I could tell when interviewing him and comparing the estimates that he was the most professional and most of his crew had worked for him for at least 12 years. He had equipment and a bucket truck to get to the highest limbs for safety. The trees were beautifully trimmed bringing out their natural shapes. The crew was so talented and worked fast, cleaning up immediately. It was such a pleasure to get such a great outcome compared to the previous disappointments I’d had with other services. I have more work for this company on other properties and I will stay with him for all future tree maintenance needs.

They did not even bother to contact us with an estimate. There was no contact at all.

The 5 men arrived about 15 minutes early and worked steadily throughout the day. They knew their job and worked together as a team; 1-3 each on a separate tree, bucket or climbing, using small gas-powered saws and 2 on the ground putting the dropped branches into the chipper. They cleaned up afterward and left the driveway and yard tidy. We spoke to 2 of the team and both were pleasant and customer oriented: they walked to meet us in the yard and inquired whether or not we liked the job and whether or not there were questions. This happened each time either my husband or myself would go out to check on their progress: very professional and courteous. We would rate them as an A+ (110%) and would ask them return next time. You can hire Ski's Tree Service with confidence. NOTE: the Owner calls to make an appointment, comes out himself to look over each tree and gives a written estimate. He is the reason the team is what it is; we chose Ski's Tree Service based on what others said about them on Angie's List, and we were not disappointed. They do not top trees; they thin out entire limbs and trim, thin and raise, thus improving sun and air circulation to the center of the tree. They have the equipment for tall trees (bucket on a very long arm) and we have tall trees. They bring a chipper & grinder and trucks to carry away the debris. When finished, the overall appearance is pleasing and there is more sunlight in the yard and garden than before. The men worked on these mature trees for this 2-day job: 3 cork oaks, 2 catalpa, 5 tallow, 1 liquid amber + 1 liquid amber removed & stump ground down, 4 Raymond Ash, 1 Bartlet Pear, small palm tree removed & stump ground, 2 crabapple, 2 other trees...don't remember their names. Great Job! 110%! :-) Well worth the price-tag.... not as expensive as we were expecting.

Really awesome job! He thinned, trimmed and raised the canopy on some large trees and I am really happy with how natural, healthy and opened up they look now. Nice guy to work with, too. Highly recommend.

Ski's did a fantastic job! Trees are beautiful and growing in nicely now that leaves are back. Their shapes are natural and healthy looking. Ski was prompt to respond, pleasant to deal with, got work done quickly and crew totally cleaned up before they left. Recommend highly.

John showed up on time for estimates and to complete the job. They cleaned up everything and done an excellent job.

They removed many of the unnecessary branches such as waterspouts, crossed limbs and deadwood. They reduced the overall weight on our Bradford Pear trees and Chinese Elms which are closest to our house. They covered any plants that I was concerned about and our new walkway to protect from any damage. Everything was left spotless, all brush was chipped and even were kind enough to give wood chips to neighbor who requested them. Wonderful crew and amazing service at fair price as we have paid twice as much in the past.

We had an appointment set while I was in town for two days. He didn't show; he didn't even give the courtesy of a phone call. Very unprofessional.

They arrived promptly and went right to work. The crew was skilled, efficient and worked as one. They were also pleasant and courteous to deal with. There was no time wasted. It was clear that they take pride in their work and rightly so.

They arrived on time and a crew of about 5 guys had the tree cut down, the stump ground, and all the roots up in about 30 minutes (about a 25 foot tall, younger tree that had invasive roots). They even repaired a sprinkler that was broken as a result of the tree roots. Their quote was about $200 cheaper than a competitor. Good price, prompt, and good quality of work. My large old trees were overgrown and contained a lot of dead wood. I called John for an estimate and he responded immediately. When he came out to give me an estimate he was very knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and professional. His estimate was very reasonable. His crew arrived early on a Monday. There were 5 workers including John's adult son. They arrived with all the right equipment - bucket truck, chipper, etc. The men worked hard and constantly the entire day. They cleaned up everything nicely. I am very happy with the results. The trees look great! I highly recommend Ski's Tree Service. John always answered my calls immediately and I felt like I could trust him. I'm pretty picky and generally have high standards. I am happy to say that Ski's did a quality job and the price was reasonable. I'll probably have them come out next year to trim some of my palms.

John called an hour in advance to let us know when he would be arriving. I could not be home while the work was performed. So, I appreciated the call to know the tree removal would be completed. The removal was 30 minutes to completion when we received the call from John that they were almost done. I was able to go home on my lunch to inspect the work and pay for the service. The crew was fast and they cleaned up after themselves. John explained the work to me and told me to call if I had any questions. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

They were very responsive and punctual. Came out quickly for an estimate and scheduled the work the following week. They ground the stump and all visible roots, cleaned up all the debris. We are pleased and would definitely use their service again.

Amazing service!! These guys busted out 2 trimmings and an entire tree removal including the stump and roots in 2 hours. Arrived right on time, actually early. Cleaned up my yard, protected my windows. I couldn't have asked for a better job!!

John's crew trimmed our large liquid amber and thinned out 2 other trees. The crew was on time, had all needed equipment and cleaned up everything. They did a professional job and the trees look great. John was recommended by a friend in the landscape industry so I trusted his recommendation and I wasn't disappointed.

Fantastic. I have lived in this house for 40 years and had the trees trimmed approximately every two years for the past 30+ years. I have been somewhat satisfied to somewhat dissatisfied. Once I was screaming mad. For the first time I walked out and was pleasantly surprised. This team did twice a good as anyone ever has. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement. John has the equipment and a team that works like true professionals. They were there to get the job done and to do it right. They were extremely polite, and caring. I can not emphasize how impressed I was with the people, and the job. I had only planned to get two quotes for the pruning, but for some reason, I called Ski's Tree Service at the last minute. They were the cheapest, and I felt comfortable with John. Glad I made that last second call. Best pruning job I have had out of many. Years ago I would go with the non insured. These guys are competitive, licensed, and insured.
