We had the good fortune of learning of Signature Pools from our three immediate neighbors who had used them to build their pools. All of them were extremely pleased with the outcome and customer service they received. We added Signature to our list of potential pool builders and continued to gather information from everyone we could, including industry professionals. No one had a single negative thing to say about Signature Pools. We considered other companies, but the customer service we received through the design and bidding process made it clear that Signature was the only choice for us. We felt extremely comfortable throughout the entire process and had confidence that we made the right selection. We worked directly with the owner of Signature, Bob Mellon, throughout construction. He is an amazing person and businessman, who truly approaches every task with enthusiasm, integrity, and professionalism. We had clear ideas about what we wanted, and Bob was able to create a beautiful pool and spa that was beyond our imagination and expectations. Every sub-contractor he used was professional and competent. He only does things the right way – this became clear early on, and I nicknamed him “Mr. Above and Beyond.” His prices are competitive – if someone else gives you a cheaper bid, look closely to see if it is actually a better value. And keep in mind, that sometimes you get what you pay for when it comes to customer service. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Signature Pools and the outcome of our pool construction.

Great pool building experience. Bob is very knowledgable and good at suggesting things during the pool design and building process. Entire process was very smooth and timely. Our pool was finished from "dig" to "swim" in 4 weeks and 2 days. The extra jets and entry/exit points used to keep the pool water circulating and clean have been a blessing. My understanding is that this is standard practice for Signature Pools, but something not all builders do. Our water has been crystal clear from day 1 and has only needed the typical chlorine and muriac acid. We didn't even end up with couldy water from the plaster during the curing time. Great summer spent around the pool. Kudos to Bob and the team of people he used to build our pool.

It took longer to start and longer than expected to finish and it is still not totally finished. They buried granite overflow in the planting area instead of cleaning it up and left large pile of sand in the driveway blocking access in and out of the garage. The workers didn't speak English, so there was a hard time communicating. They do not follow up on phone calls in a timely manner. They left an invoice for more money than due in contract. The contractor did not know the progress of the pool and was scheduling things to be done when other jobs weren't complete or scheduling things to be done that were already finished.
