Our insurance company sent Puma. We did not choose them. The contracted trades for Puma arrived on time and were efficient, communicative, quick and provided good service. Puma's project management was nonexistent for the recovery portion of the project and management spoke to local trades about us in a negative way. Not professional, not responsive.
Description of Work: Provided dry out and remediation services for a flooded bathroom and adjacent bedrooms.

The damage we had was caused from water from the sprinkler system and they tore out all of our carpet padding and base boards. They gave our insurance company the estimate, but then never gave us back our base boards. They said they lost them and so then we had to replace all of our base boards and replace the carpeting at our own expense. The insurance company said they were only supposed to do an estimate and we have been going in rounds with them. Also, the equipment they used was all messed up and caused our electric bill to be very high for that month. They used a dehumidifier that leaked all over our carpet and made the problem even worse. They had to rip out even more carpet because of this. They quoted us that they would do the job for quite a bit over the deductible. We told the insurance company we weren't going to use the, then Puma came back with a price that was $10 under our deductible. We thought they were trying to scam the insurance company. We had a lot of trouble trying to get ahold of people, so finally our insurance company had to step in and Puma finally called them back. When we did get ahold of them on the phone they weren't very helpful, we were given conflicting information about our base boards. They took the base boards off to get to the carpet, but the base boards were perfectly fine. They took them off in rooms where there wasn't even any damage and we don't know why they were removed from our property. It was an awful experience and we told our insurance company to never send them to our home again.
Description of Work: Puma Construction did an estimate of some damage that had been done to our home. They were sent by our insurance company.
