When it was time to replace my roof, I knew a reliable roofing company was crucial. After all, a roof is a significant investment. I contacted several companies, but most were listed online with just a name and phone number, which didn’t inspire much confidence. Then I found On-Top Roofing. Meeting Ruben, the owner, in person made a real difference. He was courteous, patient, and easy to talk to. Their long history of positive reviews, spanning over 20 years, was reassuring. With Ruben’s guidance, I selected the colors for my shingles, valley metal, and trim right in his office. Throughout the construction process, Ruben demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Whenever I had concerns, he addressed them promptly. His team also worked efficiently, completing the project on schedule. With their established office, competitive pricing, and trustworthy owner, On-Top Roofing was the ideal company for my roof replacement. I’m glad I chose them.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Ruben came out to look at the roof and give me a quote. There was a small pause while we waited for the rain to stop, but within a few days Ruben and his crew arrived first thing in the morning and set to work righting my roof. There were several problems that needed their attention and they were very professional and thorough. While they were working they created quite a mess on the lawn, front and back, but by the time they left, the crew had everything cleaned up and back to the way it was before they arrived. When the work was done, Ruben talked me through what they had done and showed me photos of the work that was done on the roof - both before and after photos. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has issues with their roof or is in need of a new one. And an added plus, they work with solar companies so knew how to work around the solar panels on my roof.

He was one of the higher priced one, but he didn't have it together like the other company did. He emailed me the estimate, and as far as being professional, and being concerned about their clients is why I went with another company. They were okay, they just weren't as professional for me.

The job was done quickly and on time. The owner was professional, on-time, and a pleasure to deal with. The cleanup was great and any minor repairs after the install were completed timely with no question. We would use On-Top Roofing again.

He had to take off two roofs to get to the problem. He was great.

I couldn't be happier. Ruben and his crew were punctual and professional. Ruben put me in touch with his distributor so I could go and look at all of the various options available in terms of aesthetics and overall quality. After the new composite roof was on, Ruben came back two more times to put additional coats of paint on the new vents. I liked the company so much that I had them do a small repair on the roof of a second property (tile roof). I would HIGHLY recommend On Top Roofing for both major re-roofing and minor roof repair work.

Ruben is a great guy, very professional and diligent. Never even came close to losing his temper even when I made things difficult due to my own disorganization. I wouldn't recommend anyone before Ruben with On Top Roofing.

Ruben and his team were amazing. They were on time for the estimate appointment and called backed that evening with his estimate. We set up a start date and was informed about each step in the process as it went along. They were completely professional and did a nice job of cleaning up each day. Not one nail or piece of wood was seen. I was going to paint my house after my roof was done and Ruben had a question that I couldn't help him with, so he asked for my painters number and contacted him. They came up with a great solution and I am very happy with the results. We had a solar attic fan that they installed and it was a galvanized metal color. When the roof was complete, Ruben came out and inspected the whole job to make sure it was up to his expectations. He noticed the metal fan and decided that it needed to be painted to match the roof color, so he came back and painted it himself. When the bill came, not as much insulation was needed so it came out to be $400 less than first estimated. My roof is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I completely trust Ruben and his crew and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Provider did a good job but refused to give me a receipt after telling me they would. I was not happy about the situation because I had asked about it in advance. Other then that they did a excellant job on the repair. I am not sure at this point if I will use them again or not. The repair was good so it is difficult decision.

Company owner was personable, a pleasure to work with and seemed very trustworthy from the beginning. There was one small glich in the project with causes outside of their control but they made a great faith effort to resolve it and I was very pleased. The entire crew worked very hard and seemed to care about the quality of their work very much. I just wish every experience with a home contractor could go half as well as this project.

I called Ruben from On Top Roofing after finding his company on Angie's List and after contacting a few others. I had 3 companies come out and quote me seperately. From the get go, Ruben was very friendly, informative and responsive. He sent one of his roofers, Richard, out to see what needed to be done. Richard made suggestions and observations that the other roofers did not, which gave me a lot of confidence in his ability. On Top Roofers' quote was reasonable and right in line with quotes I received from other roofers. Richard showed up to do the work right as scheduled and was very pleasant to work with. He had no problem answering my questions or pointing out areas that were really bad. Basically, he came out and performed the work the way I would have expected a professional to: he was motivated to get the work done, he cleaned up after himself, found solutions to problems he didn't expect, and finished within the time frame originally stated. I was very, very happy with the final results as well. We have had quite a bit of rain since the work was completed and have not had a single leak or problem. I have definitely found my roofers!

I reviewed Angie's list for the best roofing company and this was one of them. They did a great job and they deserve an A+ in every area. They gave us an estimate with 24 hours of my request for one. They began work immediately after I signed the contract and they finished the entire job within a week. They even handled an unexpected rain event very well. I found Reuben to be trustworthy, personable, and professional, and the staff to be diligent and hard-working. I would definitely recommend this company.

After reading their reviews on Angie's list, I called On Top Roofing for an estimate to replace our 20+ year old shake roof. Ruben came out that evening (I live 30 miles from Fresno) and did a thorough inspection of the roof. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The next morning there was a written proposal in my e-mail inbox. Ruben provided the addresses of jobs he had done so we could see his work. I got a proposal from another roofing company as well. I went with On Top, not only because they were less expensive (they were), but also because Ruben was very personable and seemed easy to work with. I was not disappointed. The crew started on a Tuesday morning. The old roof was off in a couple of hours, and the new sub roof was on that afternoon. Ruben sent me pictures of the progress and of the areas with no insulation. We had agreed to talk about adding more insulation once the roof was off. Wednesday the crew insulated and the roof was inspected. Ruben brought over several bundles of shingles so we could lay a few on the roof & compare colors. He was very patient & helpful. I picked out the color on Thursday morning & material was delivered Thursday afternoon. The crew worked Thursday, Friday & Saturday all day. They finished Monday am. The final inspection was on Tuesday, one week from start to finish. Here is what I learned from this experience: Old shake roofs get really dirty & tearing them off is a big deal. I wish I had replaced the roof last fall instead of right after I uncovered & cleaned all of the patio furniture. Everything got pretty filthy. The guys did a good job cleaning up after themselves but I skimmed the pool every night & checked for errant staples, nails & misc. debris. I have a small dog & took her to work with me because the noise freaked her out. Also, it was just under 100 degrees the first couple of days, and the lawn in front got lightly scorched in a couple of spots where materials sat for a short time. Not a huge thing, but again I would have done this in cooler weather if I had to do it over. Overall, we are extremely happy with the job On Top Roofing did & would highly recommend Ruben and crew.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Ruben is the epitome of professionalism and within 24 hours of coming to meet with me, he had a written proposal with bids for various roofing options on my doorstep! His bid was very competitive and his knowledge of roofing was extensive. He was very easy to work with and his entire crew were a delight to have around. We had him add additional insulation while our roof was off (his suggestion) and he gave us a great price! I would highly recommend On Top Roofing. Ruben came to bid the job, got the appropriate permits, ordered materials, and began work immediately. He and his crew were professional, worked fast, and did an excellent job! They were done in 3 days -

They were nice but they said they only repair the kind of roof I have, not replace it. They gave me a name of another company but that company doesn't do the work.

This was the first time that I worked with the company and I thought that the experience was good. I found him on Angie's List and went with that. They did a nice job. He was great. Everything went great and there were no problems.

He did have to wait to do the roof due to rain and because we could only allow him to work on Sunday due to business hours. All of my tenants seems really happy. Rubin is the owner of the company and he has been extremely nice!

Everything was done when he said it would be. After the work was done there was a couple of items I asked about and he was there the next day and fixed them to our liking.

These guys did a great, fast job. They got there and got right down to what they needed to do. Took them 5 days, buts that ok,,had to deal with weather. What was quoted is what was spent. Clean up,,,done very well, no damage to lawn or plants. Even had a pigeon show up and took the roll as Supervisor. This pigeon even like to sit on the genarator while running,,,,or someone's head or shoulders.Needless to say he has a name Roofus and a new safe home. Overall our whole family was very impressed with a job well done. This was not a typical roof job either. Did I mention my Grandfather has Alzheimer's and Dementia. Every morning it was a set of new questions for the crew. They did such a good job about dealing with my grandfather and his questions every min on the hour.

I would give them a top grade, as I've had rental properties and they've taken care of those since I can remember. They are very good and I will continue to use them.
