Description of Work: He was recommended by my builder to do the landscaping. I felt that he had a formula and wasn't listening to what I wanted. I ended up hiring someone else.

+ -1 moreThe stuff that you can see, we got. What we didn't get was the extra preparation that we asked for so that our plantings would have good growing conditions. Where we specifically contracted for rototilling and the addition of soil amendments, we got buried construction debris, no amendments, and soil that wouldn't breathe. We expressed our displeasure to Mr Luallen with no results. It took about a year for Mr Luallen to realize that he had never billed us for any of our contract. At that point, we paid for the extra materials that he delivered and deducted for the extra work that was never done. I'm sure Mr Luallen does his builder contracted work cheaply and quickly, but I would never consider hiring him directly.
Description of Work: Mr Luallen was contracted by our homebuilder for the basic landscaping of our new home. We separately contracted with Mr Luallen for additional work and upgrades.

+ 0 moreHe was very personable. He came out and went over everything and gave me a landscape design and an estimate. His estimate was right on. He did a very good job and was timely. He started and finished it when he said he was going to.
Description of Work: I used Mark Luallen Landscaping to landscape my backyard. He did trees, shrubs and sod.
