Description of Work: Yearly inspection of my two air conditioners. The work was completed thoroughly and the inspector was friendly and provided some very helpful hints for both my air conditioners and also my water heaters. I will schedule them again to check my forced air heaters in November 2014 to ensure proper operation.

Description of Work: Excellent, professional service was provided by Jim for our heating/AC unit. He quickly and accurately diagnosed and fixed calibration and airflow issues, and he also took the time to explain what he had found and the corrective actions that he took.

Description of Work: JC Milton, sent one of there most experienced technishion out to inspect another A/C Companies New Unit installation. I Had lost all confidence in the other companies quality of work. I wanted another opeion and JC Milton was rated High on Angie,s list and I had used them in the past as well and had good service.

Description of Work: The A/C compressor stopped working on a very hot day when our community suffered some electrical outages near our neighborhood. Melton came out and determined it was caused by a brown-out that triggered the rapid-restart protection circuit disabling the compressor. When they arrived the compressor had cooled and the rapid-restart protection circuit had reset. They spent about an hour and topped-off the freon. There have been no problems since. I always use Melton for my personal and rental houses.

Description of Work: I wanted to replace my HVAC that was over 20 years old for a new more efficient. I spent over 5k for this unit. Work was done promptly. II had asked for several quotes and this one was above the others, but Mr. Melton did give me a written contract, as opposed to others who quoted me on the phone or gave me their card with a quote. I had read the comments here and chose him.

Description of Work: We had various possible solutions to address our heating problem. Melton gave specific quotes on the scenarios from reattaching ducts and cleaning to replacing the entire system. They were gracious about answering all my questions, even though there were multiple calls back and forth with various asking the price of "what if we did this instead". The staff was very professional; came to work on time, maintained a tidy work site and completed the job in the time frame expected. The technician (Ray) was proactive in keeping current on the equipment he installed by attending classes. The company did not give the highest or lowest bid, but I felt the price was fair for the service provided. I gave a detailed list of services required to each company bidding for the job. Melton's explained what I could expect on performance for each additional appliance upgrade. It became apparent that some of the upgrades suggested by another company probabley were not a good value for the cost. Meltons' was happy to complete the job as specified but gave me enough understanding to make an informed decision.

Description of Work: I live in an old (1925) house. Melton helped upgrade. We had a complex wiring problem. They made three visits with no charge to fix the problem. I was impressed with the knowledge of the repairmen, the courtesy on the phone when I called, and the dedication/determination to identify and fix the problem. It was a confusing one.
