Description of Work: On Sunday, April 22, 2012, we discovered a leak in our main water service to the house. I called Fresno Plumbing (after checking with Angie's List) and the answering service immediately had the weekend on call plumber call me back, which only took 5-10 minutes. We discussed the problem and he suggested that if I could wait until Monday, the cost would be significantly cheaper. He offered to come out that day and hook up water through a hose from our neighbor's house, but we decided to wait. He said he would call the office first thing in the morning and see if they could take care of us. On Monday morning about 7:30, the office called and immediately arranged for someone to come out between 8 and 9am. At approximately 8:30 the office called again and said that they had dispatched a plumber and that he was en-route to our house. He arrived a little before 9:00. Lucas was very neat and professional looking as were his truck and tools. We spent 5-10 minutes discussing the situation and he immediately went to work. Within 10-15 minutes, Lucas discovered the problem and we discussed the solution. He left to get some parts and was back within just a few minutes and fixed the problem. I wholeheartedly recommend Fresno Plumbing and Heating. The charge was fair and reasonable and actually was less then my wife and I expected. Lucas also gave us a 10% discount (Probably Sr. Citizens) with out us having to ask. He also helped me remove a cartridge sleeve in a shower faucet that I was working on. He did not charge us for that work. Thank you Fresno Plumbing and Lucas!!!

Description of Work: Replaced a kitchen facet that I had already purchased, also teed off to a water filter and replaced two valves.. Was working for 3 hours plus do to the difficulty of the replacement. Were very knowledgeable and friendly---I am not sure how much any other company would have charged, but price was OK--would have been real happy with $275, but things are expensive these days. Would be the first persons to call on my next plumbing adventure. They seem to do it right.

Description of Work: The basement was flooded at my mother's house. I called Fresno plumbing and heaitng and they came out right away. They didn't even charge for the visit (this was the third time we have used them). They are always very prompt and professional. I recommend them to everyone who needs a plumber!

Description of Work: Outside water mains was leaking and had older style fixing that needed to be changed. Instead of replacing a complete unit at over $200, the engineer was able to repair existing system.
