Very well -- requested additional services were over priced and not accepted

Fresno Plumbing & Heating Inc were prompt and efficient but the estimate to replace the water heater seemed a little steep to me. I thought I'd keep looking since I'm in an older house and need to get it up to code. The plumbing experience exceeded expectation and the pricing was probably normal plumbing prices which are high. The quality was quite good because he cleaned up after himself and the work was done quickly. My water pressure is ridiculously high and it's great. I asked a lot of questions in which Fresno Plumbing & Heating Inc were responsive. It wasn't always what I wanted to hear but they did answer a lot of questions.

They did a really magnificent and incredible job. We have had no problems. They were personable. They would explain everything as they were doing it. I was able to be off there with them while they were doing things and so which made me feel more comfortable because when you don't know what is going on and they are trying very best. They just were so upfront about everything and they were instructing me and showing me. They are knowledgeable and made everything doable because they made it easy for me to understand them. For a layman who doesn't do mechanical thing and that was a plus for me. They went above and beyond and knew how to have good customer service. I would highly recommend them.

They did an okay job as far as coming to the house. I gave them a credit card with all kinds of information and paid them that day. In the meantime, there were problems with my fiancé’s credit card because it had been compromised. It had a hold put on it and she was issued a new one. Fresno Plumbing sent her a nasty letter stating that she didn't pay. They misaddressed the letter and it didn't have her name on it. I called to speak to the owner and they were on vacation. It was a very messy situation and it was poorly handled. The issue with my fiancé’s credit card didn't occur for at least a couple of weeks after they were there so I don't know if they were slow in processing it or what was going on. The work itself was fine but the aftermath was pretty badly handled. They were very thorough in looking for the leak. They came over promptly. The price was fair for the quickness of the service. I don’t know if I would use them again. There were not any issues with the credit card when it was given to them. If they had processed it right then, there would not have been an issue. They said they tried to contact her and the phone number had been disconnected, which was not true.

Cleared the clog in about 10 minutes.

I called on Friday 2/8 and made an appointment for Monday morning (2/11) at 0830. At 0800 I got a call and was told that he had to stop on the way to pick up some parts which would make the arrival time between 0830-0900. I agreed and he showed at 0900. He replumed everything the new sinks needed: supply lines, drain lines and faucets. He worked for almost 3 hours to get everything done. He had to leave once to gets parts as I decided to put a new faucet in the laundry room. He was very polite and professional. This was the 2nd time I have used them. I feel comfortable the job is done right. They give a one year guarantee on the work done. I know I won't have to worry about any problems that might surface.

On two separate occasions we had this company come out to perform work. The first was a scheduled water heat flush and the second was an emergency sewage drain clog during the weekend. On both days the service was great, and they took care of the job to my expectations. The price might be a little higher than other companies, but their level of service made up for it.

The hot water did not seem to be getting as hot as usual so I called and made an appointment for the water heater to be drained, something I have done every few years. The tech came out and explained that many things could cause the water to not get very hot. He then checked to be sure the flame in the gas water heater was on, then partially filled the bathtub to check water temperature. Ultimately he recommended water heater replacement due to age (18 years) of unit. I stated that I had originally requested that the water heater be drained but I got the impression that he wasn't inclined to do so given his recommendation. At that point I was anxious to have him leave so I requested he give me his estimate in writing then I wrote a check for his service. Weeks later I received an invoice stating that I owed money for the service call. When I called the office to point out that the work order showed I had already paid with a check, I was told that the check had been misplaced. This was the first I had heard of this and no one had the courtesy to call me and request a new one. The company did agree to reduce the amount owed by the amount I would have to pay my bank to cancel the original check. I barely had time to cancel the check when I received a second invoice! Anyway, this company really didn't do any work for me, and the estimate they provided for water heater replacement turned out to be $200-$300 more than the other three FREE estimates that I received to replace the water heater with the same brand equipment.

I was very very happy to find this company and will call them at next need for sure.

When they list "Free Estimates" they need to state Only over the phone !!!!

I just newer bought a home, and am about to move in. The two toilets were difficult to flush and I was advise to replace the kits within the tanks. I purchased the kits and asked a part-time handyman if he could install them. He told me he could and that it wouldn't take long at all. (He charges by the hour.) On one day, he installed one as I was away from the house. Instead of taking 30 minutes or so, it took about 2.5 hours. He said that he had difficulty with the tank and it's bolts, and that it was leaking but he got it to stop. He mentioned that it wasn't very stable. I asked him 'If someone bumps the tank, will it leak again?" He responded, "Maybe." I was surprised by his answer, and that he was intending to leave me with an unstable toilet tank that might leak. I just raised my brows and looked at him, waiting for a better response. Then he said, "I could seal it with silicone." That answer wasn't much better. He came a couple of days later to do the other toilet, and a few other jobs that he didn't finish the first time. Two days after that I went to the house, and the 2nd toilet had flooded the master bathroom as well as 4 feet of the master bedroom carpet! I called Fresno Plumbing and Heating around 7pm. They were closed but I left a message. (I didn't treat it as an emergency.) I explained that I needed help and I would be in the house from 11am-1pm the following day. I was on a tight scheduled and was really hoping they would be able to make it to my house on short notice, and also during that window of time. They called me about 9:20 the following morning, and said they could do it! They called again before the serviceman's arrival, and he showed up during scheduled window of time. He was very pleasant and professional. It turned out that the bolts were barely screwed in, and he said he could nearly screw them by hand. He tightened them and checked to be sure that it solved the problem. He then also checked the other toilet for me. I was very happy with the service provided. I was told there was a minimum service charge of $85. I feel this was a bit high for a situation like mine where he only needed to tighten the bolts, but I was just happy to know the problem was solved. When writing up the order, he said he remembered that they just increased their minimum charge to $95, but since he quoted me $85, he would honor that. I also received a 10% discount due to Angie's List. Overall, great experience! They were responsive, punctual, professional and pleasant! Thank you! : )

Fresno Plumbing sent Lawrence to my house to repair the gas line and fix the shower/tub kit and valve. We had another contractor put in the gas line originally and another plumber put in the tub/shower kit. The gas line had a leak that was discovered and was in an incredibly inconvenient spot. Lawrence had it cleaned up and safely moved to a better spot with no fuss. It works like a charm, no leak. He also inspected the tub/shower kit and found that the prior plumber had made a mistake that would cause issues over the long run. He fixed the problems and sealed everything up. I would highly recommend both Fresno Plumbing and Lawrence--I will be using them the next time I need plumbing assistance!

We had two leaking faucets, one was a bathtub hot spigot that would NOT turn off. As we are now metered for water, this was not good! Fresno Plumbing came out that same day, Lucas said it would be $135, but he gave me 10% off, so it was only $121.50. He was quick and efficient, leaks fixed and he was on his way in about 40 minutes!

They did their best to fix the problem, and they were very informative.

He arrived on time and did an inspection of the area. Was very friendly and knowledgable. Fixed the hot water connection under the sink. An inspector had previously stated that there was a broken pipe under the tub, and I asked if he would check it out. He cheerfully put on a white coverall and crawled on his belly all the way across the foundation of the house (old house with wood foundation) to get to the bathroom. In a little while he returned to let me know it was indeed broken and that he could fix it and would come back the next day with the proper parts. He came back, the next day, and fixed it. I'm extremely happy with the job he did.

I called and she answered right away then told me they would have someone out in two hours. I was quoted a price and she mentioned a 10% off coupon in the yellow pages. Shortly after that she called me to say he could come sooner since he finished previous job early. He showed up and came in worked for about an hour keeping everything clean and protected as he went. Nice guy and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

They were less than other companies. I would recommend them to others. I think he could have been faster if he did not have talked so much. He was a little chatty. I will use him in the future.

They did a very good job. I thought the leak was inside the house and another company said they would fix the leak for $10,000. I then called Fresno Plumbing who came and found that the leak was outside the house. They fixed the leak. They diagnosed the leak right away and came the next day and fixed it. I rate him high overall.

Lucas was delayed by a previous plumbing job in arriving at my home at the planned time. Fresno Plumbing called me, as did Lucas and kept me informed until he was able to honor his appointment with me l hour later than anticipated.. He wasted no time in completing his work at my home and was very willing to explain everything. He was very careful to test his completed work and I was impressed by his ethic of cleaning up and leaving everything better than it was before he arrived.

Lucas from Fresno Plumping identified that the sewer line was clogged. He had to locate the trap which was buried under the surface of the front yard. He cleared the line and added a trap extension so in future time would not be wasted trying to find it's location. He replaced the seal under the toilet that the water had been percolating up through. All work was completed professionally.

From the time I called to the time a serviceman arrived was very efficient. The issue with water heater was explained to me and the repairman was very upfront about the likelihood of problem occurring again (due to hard water). He gave me a couple of options and I felt he was very knowledgeable and straighforward. Overall, my problem was resolved and I felt confident in the service provided. I would call this company again for any plumbing needs.
