Willy was professional, prompt, and thorough. He took time to explain what he found and share photos of before and after. He addressed a clog in our drain line and cleaned the evap coil. He charged a fair price. We will use him again if needed in the future. I strongly and gladly recommend Energy Smart Engineering.

I interviewed 5 HVAC companies and chose to work with Willy who was knowledgeable, honest, and available whenever I had a question in order to come up with an informed and educated decision. His estimate was not the lowest, but we opted to work with an engineer who was ahead of the game compared with the others, as regards manufacturerâ s parts availability, model numbers, ultra lownox furnace state requirement, etcâ ¦ His installers were punctual, diligent, and professional. Youssef was very patient in teaching us how to use the WiFi thermostat and to download the Nest app. I wouldâ ve given them 5 stars, but the walls in the hallway and the attic cover were stained with finger marks. The attic opening had to be widened to fit the furnace. Energy Smart will schedule somebody to fix the sheet rock, repaint the affected area, and replace the broken attic cover (and hopefully, clean the finger marksð ). Willy is my hero! My air conditioning stopped working at around 10 PM which is truly a nightmare in 114 degree heat in Arizona - he messaged me shortly thereafter and came to my house 10 hours later (on a Sunday)! He was so efficient, pleasant, kind, and communicative. He fixed the problem in 20 minutes. He is truly a lifesaver.

a/c was not working , called energy smart within three hours up and running . called another company before them said it would take up to three days for repair and lots more money .

They responded very quickly and even though it was only to maintain and not an emergency in this heat, they were able to make an appointment for the next day! They showed up at the beginning of the appointed time and Willy was professional and very helpful with our ac unit.

They went above and beyond! I called because I messed up my HVAC wiring, in an attempt to install a smart thermostat. Turns out my unit is so old that they had to reconfigure everything. They could have told me that I had to wait until tomorrow but instead they came and stayed well after their shift should have been over, to ensure my AC was working correctly. You can't beat same day service just before the first heat wave of the summer. AC running but struggling to cool. Willy and crew diagnosed the problem and had it recharged in no time. Courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I won't hesitate to call them again if the AC or heater is acting up.

I cannot say enough about this company and Willie who is the owner. From my first conversation with him until my new air conditioning unit was installed I have nothing but absolutely good to say. I was sure we were going to end up spending this hot summer with portable air conditioners because of the quotes I have been getting from other companies. My AC went out at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. I called like a zillion people, just trying to get someone who could come out on a Sunday. The owner of Energy Smart Engineering said he would personally come out early on Sunday morning. He was here before 8:30. He was very clear all along the way about what needed to be done and how much it would cost. 2 hours after he got here, our AC is working better than ever. I would definitely recommend this business.
