Materials used were inappropriate. We were told the State would provide a rebate but the rebate program had already ended. Poor quality equipment installed.
Description of Work: 3 years after installation of a $4500 roof-mounted solar hot water system (similar to Solarhart) and new hot water heater, the hot water heater had to be replaced because its thermostat failed (a replacement did not work; $900), and the 2 x 4 runners on which the solar heater was mounted were beginning to crumble (did not use treated wood). 4 years after installation, the roof now has a leak, which is inaccessible because it is under one of the 2 x 4 runners.
