+ 0 moreFine 1st month. Believe he used round-up on a Eastern Red Bud tree. One day after he had worked on the property, all the leaves turned yellow, and fell off. I was furious. The tree was about 6 years old. It was purchased and planted with my husbands ashes in the planting hole. Fortunately the tree recovered. I called Armando. He had no explanation, I told him I would not need his services any more.
Description of Work: Mowed, edged, General clean-up.

Description of Work: This man worked for me one month. He managed to spray some pesticide (round-up?) on a 6 yr. old , very healthy, Eastern Redbud. This tree was not only beautiful but my husband's ashes are buried there. I pointed this out to Armando first time he was here and asked him to be especially careful around it. Sometime the week before his last day, I called him because the leaves of the Redbud were turning yellow all of a sudden and, then, fell off. When he showed up the following week, he mowed, edged, etc., When he finished he knocked on the door and said looked like I had watered the tree when it was very hot and I had "steamed" it. Then he asked for a check for the month. I was very upset over the tree and had not yet put 2 & 2 together. So, I paid him. Shortly after that I realized that the tree had been sprayed. He was very "hot" for round-up and used it liberally throughout my garden even though I warned him from the first day that I had cats and to be very careful using that chemical.

+ 0 moreIt went very well. Armando is very professional and explains everything he will be doing ahead of time. I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of his work and we expect to use his services for a long time to come!
Description of Work: Armando installed sprinklers in the front and back yard of my rental house. I'm now using him as my gardener for my rental and primary residence. My brother has hired him as well.
