I purchased the 400 sq. ft. tile and grout cleaning from Living Social after I read the reviews on Angie's List. My husband was leaving town so I needed all of my tile floors and grout cleaned before he left. Clean Slate scheduled us as soon as they could get us in. They came to our house exactly when they said they would and measured the square footage of all the tile that I wanted cleaned. I had much more square footage than the deal I had paid for but the price was much more reasonable than the quotes I received from other companies. They started in the back of the house and went room by room finishing one area and moving to the next room. They also did my counters and a marble shower that desperately needed deep cleaning. When they were finished, they went back and double checked all of the areas, went over a couple of spots in the high traffic areas and they were finished. The floors looked great and the grout looked amazing. I tried to clean the grout with chemicals and a steamer for days and I finished a small 4 X 12 area but my back was killing me for days afterwards. It was worth every penny to have them do the cleaning and I am going to have them come back and do my carpets and some windows next. We highly recommend A Clean Slate and my house looks like new again.

On time, very professional, went right to work and did a very thorough cleaning job. Removed all the stain. Carpets look new! I would use him ahain and recommend him to my friends.

I wrote a previous report for A Clean Slate's carpet cleaning and mentioned that I was so impressed with their carpet cleaning that I scheduled them to come back to clean my tile floors. They did another excellent job! My tile floors have never been professionally cleaned. It has been 18 years since the tile was installed. That was back in the days when grout color was ivory, ugh! Needless to say, the grout color, especially in my kitchen, was no longer ivory. I figured that as long as most of the grout color was approximately the same color of brown that people wouldn't really notice. I tried using a 50% Clorox mixture on my grout and scrubbing it vigorously. I even used a face mask/respirator to keep from passing out. That worked sort of but really didn't make it look good. My house cleaner kept mentioning that I really needed to get it professionally cleaned so I figured I'd give it a try. I HAD MY DOUBTS!! If Clorox couldn't get it looking good, what was the chance that steam would work? Wow, I was surprised! It looks great! I'm very impressed. My next appointment, in a couple of weeks, is window cleaning. Will update how that goes but am a believer now. If they say my windows will look like new, I suspect they will.

I bought a Groupon for A Clean Slate Carpet cleaning for a good price. After I bought it, I researched the company and found out that they were new. I was apprehensive that I didn't see any reviews for them but Groupon guarantees satisfaction so I figured I might as well go ahead. I called A Clean Slate and the guy I spoke with was very nice and said that all their equipment was brand new state of the art. He reassured me that all of their work was 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Three people showed up at my house and I asked them what they would charge to do the remainder of my carpets that weren't included on the Groupon offer. He gave me a bid that was very reasonable so they shampooed all my carpeting. They were here for 5 1/2 hours and did a superb job. I have had my carpets cleaned many times over the years and this company did a better job than any of them. Mark, one of the owners, said that they clean carpets like they were cleaning their own carpets. They were very polite and professional. They had on T-shirts that said something about grout and I asked them about it. They said that they also clean tile and grout as well as windows. I needed both of those done so I now have two more appointments for those jobs. I will report back on how those go.
