Dear Member, I want to say thank you for taking the time to write a review on A Clean Slate. Good or bad we learn from these comments. In this particular review there must be a misunderstanding, for the grades received and the quote that was given to you. You had called me late on Saturday the 17th of May and I had missed your call. But in thirty minutes I called you back. You had explained that you had a rental in Clovis that needed the showers and restrooms cleaned "do you do that" I replied that yes we did but what kind of a cleaning are you looking for. A Clean Slate does that but we are not Merry Maids or house cleaners but rather specialty cleaners. I started to explain our process and you asked me again "if we cleaned restrooms and showers". I said yes and you wanted to know how much this would cost and I told you we do written estimates after we see the job. So we set up an appointment for Monday afternoon the 19th between four or five as I was going to be in Kingsburg all day and was not sure of an exact time. You told me it was no problem and gave me a Lock Box code to get the Key. I told you I would call you when I was done looking at the Property and give you a cost for service. I got to the property about ten after four P.M. and proceeded to do the estimate. There was major renovation taking place in the home and a large dumpster out front. The restrooms were in tact but in vary bad shape from a lack of maintenance. You had asked for us to clean both showers, one tub, one shower glass enclosure, counter tops, toilets and one bathroom floor. Basically everything in both restrooms. What I saw was hard water on the tile, the toilets and the sinks in a very heavy dose. Thick black mold and mildew in grout lines and on tile in both showers. On the shower enclosure that was glass a thick white coating of hard water deposits that eliminated any clarity to the glass and the shower glass frame also coated with hard water deposits. The job was not going to get done with a can of Comet and a little scrubbing. Which is exactly the specialty cleaning A Clean Slate preforms. This is what we do. We make restrooms in this condition into like new condition. We try to save the customer the cost of replacement with a fraction of the cost for a "Like New" Shower or restroom. When figuring out the cost for the estimate I actually discounted about three hundred dollars for you as you were doing many services and I wanted to be right with you. I came up with a figure and called you as soon as I locked up the rental property. I verbally gave you the prices and again tried to explain our process but we were disconnected. Maybe you didn't know I was still talking. I just believe that what you were looking for was just a cleaning, not a restoration. Yes for a can of Comet and some elbow grease my price was high, but for a restoration I gave you a very good price. I think I tried very hard to be responsive to you, to be professional with you, and most importantly Honest with you. I apologize if I in any way I contributed to this Misunderstanding.
