Description of Work: 3D Designs by David was awesome. We were trying to figure out how to create a backyard that would work for our entertainment needs for 2+ years and just couldn't make it work together. We had two other designers come out but no one came close to David and his team.

Description of Work: About two years ago we hired David to design a pre-existing front yard that we wanted to have a little more curb appeal . His ability to make your yard come to life virtually is like no other. The ease in knowing what your final project will look like before construction ever starts is priceless. We recently hired David again to design our existing backyard. We fell in love working with David and his crew during our front yard project and wouldn't have considered using anyone else for our backyard.

Description of Work: Designed and supplied 3D images and specs for a pool, pavilion, hardscape and landscape. The Pavilion included flat screen TV, bar, sink, barbecue, sitting area and bar.

Description of Work: Landscape design and planning

Description of Work: 3D designs by David completed a 3D landscape design, which included 3D images of the design and 2D blueprints. The blueprints created are to industry standards and any competent contractor should be able to easily create the 3D design.

Description of Work: Provided a referal to someone we hired to provide professional services.

Description of Work: Was suppose to give me 3 d view of remoldeling plans before the work was done to make sure everyone has the same picture so we get what we want in the end.

Description of Work: Found David, wife Kim, and son Jack online. Day one they came and spent a good 4 hours just in sharing with me what service they provide and walked around the home to see what my needs are. I had already taken some measurements around the outside of the home and that gave them a good start as to where things are and how much area there is for the job at hand. The second visit again a good 4 hours getting more information regarding the elevations around the home and down the driveway and from the landscape areas down to the drive that goes all the way around the home. After the first week they had a good 3d slide presentation that was dead on! It was a well thought out plan of my place and now had something to look at that looks real, realy a good look at what it will all look like when we are done with construction. I moved in my home in June 2012 and found that I was looking for help. Nice 7.25 acres with 2600 sf home but needed the outside of the home updated and the inside comfort also. The heat and cold needed help and the outside needed plans in how I could update into a usable patio for entertaining, parking in a carport area, this summer was very hot an have no outside shade around the home, only small patio to set a few chairs and a table. Needed to set up a place for fire wood storage and play area and a proper entry up to the main front door. Fire pit to have a seating area to sit and talk in the evenings. Design some play areas with lawn and some areas with planting, trees, shrubs, plants , lighting in landscape and also security lights. Entry gates and drive up to home, also around back of home showing a new area to have new barn and parking for truck and trailer, a place to park rvs when family and friends come by and want to visit and see Yosemite where we are here in Mariposa ca. Summary: David, Kim and Jack have made a great 3d presentation of my place showing a new carport next to the home with area for fire wood on end of it. Enlarged the patio out the dine room and kitchen showing an outdoor grill and seating area with a larger deck overhead to allow some upstairs star gazing out beyond the roof that was existing. Also have a shade area beyond that over the grill area. I have two out buildings that they were able to show relocated in a better position on the property as they were set to close to the home and did not go with the mountain home architecture of the home. Added a short retain wall with cmu, block wall and footings to go around the home out away from it to create a meandering area of lawn and landscape areas at about 24" step from lawn to the lower area. Have boulders and lights added at the many areas around the home and paths with stepping stones that will take from front door out through the yard down to the drive. Also same thing out back towards taking to the barn area, lights and steps taking you out from yard area down to the driveway and out to the barn. So we have now a 3d slide presentation that shows what I needed to do, the work that was to be done. David shows the actual property with everything accurately in place, with plans showing exactly where everything will be so the many tradesmen will know what they area bidding on a what the work they will be doing. No confusion to be had during the building process. In the home David has recommended the Heat and Air contractor to help improve my system along with a energy reviewer to see what the home needed regarding the windows and insulation and ventilation , solar, fire stove, etc. David is getting and overseeing all aspects of my needs, he has found the contractors and persons to deal already and passes that on to me to have good men to deal with that help get the best value for all areas of work to be done.

Description of Work: 3D Designs by David made a landscaping design for my backyard, He's kind of like a contractor. He hires out a landscaping team to do the work and oversees it to make sure it's complete.
