Description of Work: Luiz Cardoso has a very attentive, careful crew. They are polite, punctual, and know their craft. Luiz uses high quality materials and makes sure to keep in touch throughout the process. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: My experience with System Pavers was one of the worst experiences I have had as a consumer. I used them to install hardscaping and synthetic turf at one of my family's homes. Long story short: poor workmanship, premium pricing, missed appointments, problems with product installation. They had to re-do or repair a few times and seemed very reluctant to correct the problem areas. Once they had the check, it was some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I would not let these folks near my home again.

Description of Work: We had a run down yard: dead, formerly grass lawn, 55-year old pool, cement aggregate patio. They filled in the pool using the patio, dirt, and crushed granite. Everything was leveled and pavers installed in half of the yard and a synthetic lawn in the other half. System Pavers had the most realistic lawn product of all we looked at. It was developed for use in Disneyland. The second best-looking synthetic lawn presented by another company could not be installed anywhere near glass windows and doors--especially low-E glass--because the reflection on sunny days overheated and melted the "grass". Their designer, Darrell Hutchison, worked with us, providing invaluable advice when we had decisions to make. We ran into a problem with the on-site supervisor who allowed some shoddy work during installation. As soon as we contacted the contractor/project manager, Thad Steiner, he got it corrected. Despite being a new-hire to the company, he really stepped up and went to bat on our behalf to make sure we were happy. In addition to having great products, we were very impressed with the service and the integrity of the people working there. We had been a bit worried that might get lost since they're a large company. But they act like a small local company who really cares that the customer is satisfied and their work is good. They did a good job of leveling it to direct water away from our house. We previously had some pooling during rain storms. Not anymore--no puddles. And it sure is great when our German Shepherd goes out on a rainy day but doesn't get muddy! He absolutely loves the new "lawn". Loves being outside and laying on it and playing on it.

Description of Work: They came out after making several phone calls. They said that is was took small of a job. He tried to say if no one else wants to do it, we will do it. I don’t want to work with someone like that.

Description of Work: At the end of the sales presentation, after the bid was made, they said they would give us a discount if they could put a sign on our front lawn for a month and another discount for a recommendation letter. This was off-putting and we said so. We also pointed out that they had received several negative comments on this list, even though the average was good. The sales person said he would look into it. We never responded to the bid and they did not contact us again. If management had called us to discuss these concerns, we might very well have selected them. Neither of these issues were show stoppers, only concerns needing to be addressed. The fact that they did not follow through makes us think that perhaps this is a company one should pass on for larger more complex jobs in which issues will likely come up.

Description of Work: I called to ask them to evaluate some paver work in my yard. I was advised that they will not do repair work. They only do new construction.
