Pacific Coast Termite Inc

After using a pest control company that was not doing a good job (see Xtermite) we had a number of infestations that needed treatment. They found many areas that the former company (and my husband had missed). Initial visit they did a thorough inspection of our home ( which took over 3 hours) and recommended tenting but we did not want to do that. Instead we decided on having the areas treated locally. We were impressed with their knowledge and of the options of dealing with the problems. We would definitely use this company again.

Inspector was thorough. Went up into the attic space and into crawlspace under house as well as thorough inspection inside and outside. Gave me a detailed report of all work needed to be completed and an estimate on cost. A date for treatment was set. The treatment team was on time, efficient and thorough. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and polite. They were not able to spray the interior of my attached garage because of all the things I have stored on the walls. They will return to complete the indoor spraying when I have cleared out my garage.

Showed up on time - Omar is the guy who's been out to our house a couple of times, he's great! Good open communication, detailed information about all aspects of the job from start to finish. Easygoing, but they run a tight ship - they are pros and there is no b.s. The treatment used was orange oil. They also did a full annual termite inspection of the entire house. I learned some interesting things, to say the least.

My experience with them was fine. They did the work that we payed them for.

The house is a rental house. Pacific Coast coordinated with the tenants to set up a mutually agreeable inspection date and time. Showed up as agreed and submitted a thorough report soon after the inspection.

They showed up on-time, we discussed the work required and then they proceeded to treat the home as discussed. They appeared competent, professional and congenial. They cleaned up all debris, sealed all holes in stucco & concrete. The technicians disagreed with the initial estimate as to where the walls should be treated (they didn't think it was necessary) however, they complied with my request to treat the walls in question anyway.

Overall, it went very well and we are pleased with their services.

The work has not been completed yet. I will write another review when it is done.

The company responded quickly after we called ad determined what needed to be done. Set a date for doing the work and came on time. Did a very good job. We have had no problems since they sprayed

They were pretty good and their price was reasonable. They are a good, honest company and the salesperson that came to our house was very nice and explained everything to us thoroughly. We didn’t use them because they use orange oil but we wanted gas fumigation which they don’t do. We initially decided to go with them and we paid upfront. But then we decided to use fumigation so we cancelled but they were willing to credit the money back which was pretty nice.

Based on my acceptance of the detailed estimate provided to me by the inspector, I schedule the work to be completed that same week. The 2 Pacific Coast Termite employees called on the day of service and advised me that they were ahead of schedule and would like to come early if it was convenient. I had completed the removal of some boxes in my garage that they had requested in order to complete the treatment for the subterranean termites, so I was happy to have them come early. They spent several hours completing all the identified work, and were very careful to notify me of what exactly they were doing, then subsequently clean up each area. As I had been with the initial inspector, I was also impressed with the professionalism of the employees who completed the actual work. They went through it in detail with me, showing who had done what in each area that was identified for treatment. I am sure that once my 2-year warranty is up and after the subsequent inspections that I will choose to have a yearly contract with Pacific Coast Termite.

The inspector was a running a bit late, but called to inform us of the issue. Our appointment was in the afternoon so this was quite reasonalble like a doctor things track slower than anticipated. Upon arrival, he (Chris Johnson) went right to work inquiring about our concern areas where we had seen evidence of termite activity and advised that we were being bothered by ground termites and not the wood eating ones that do not have to return to the ground periodically. He then explain his plan to inspect the exterior areas of our one story home, the attic, and lastly the crawl space. After he completed the process, he explained his findings and showed some pictures of the problem areas observed in the crawl space toward the front of the home. He went over the treatment options and related prices plus warranties. He also let us know estimated prices to take care of the repairs needed. This mainly some dry rot in two rafter tails off the roof due to a flashing issue. Chis pointed out that there was a 10% off coupon available online and that if we would schedule the suggested treatment process he could offer an additional 5% price reduction since business was slow. Both my wife and I were pleased with the overall experience and it turned that the treatment and repair costs were much less than feared.

They arrived on time. Did the work quickly and left. No problems.

We first used Pacific Coast Termite two years ago for termite problems. This year was our warranty inspection. They did a thorough inspection and took some minor correction work. We then decided to do the rodent control and re-insulate our attic. This was a four-step process. First they removed all the old insulation. Then the rodent person came and sealed any possible points of entry and set traps. He came back a week later to check traps (empty!!), put new screens on two of the vents for our crawl space and set one more trap in the attic, where the most evidence of rodent droppings was found. On the final day the rodent person returned to remove the traps and make sure all was sealed up nice and tight. That same day the insulation guys came with the truck and proceeded to put in the new insulation. All the personnel were very professional and were great about cleaning up after themselves. They sent a person out to inspect the work after the old insulation was removed and he found a couple other termite spots that he took care of on the spot. Everyone was great about protecting floors and furnishings. We will continue to use their yearly termite warranty.

The appointment process was easy and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days. Prior to my appointment Pacific Coast emailed me a picture and reminder of the name and contact phone number for the Pest Inspector. The Pest Inspector was prompt for the appointment. He was professional, friendly, and astute. He providedme with a written quote via email within a few hours of his visit. The quote was reasonable, and slighlty lower than a quote I had received from a national pest control company that bid for the work a few days earlier. I decided to select Pacific Coast Termite Inc . and will have them start the job after the Holidays.ese

They were arrived on time for the inspection. They set an appointment the following week and were punctual. They treated the areas and provided a 1 year warranty.

The inspector completely missed a major problem. The cost estimate provided was very misleading. Over all we wound up spending $2,000 more than the initial estimate to get the necessary work done. There was almost no coodination between management and workers in the field. When the missed problem was called to the attention of management, management gave a cost estimate without ever viewing the problem. When the worker who was to do the job arrived he gave us a cost quote that was 50% over that given by management and he said that he had no knowledge of any quote by management. A very very frustrating experience. Never again.

The gentlemen were professional and thorough and cleaned up after themselves. The work was under warranty which we appreciate. We definitely tell our Bolinas neighbors (and others) about Pacific Coast.

We liked the products and services that Pacific Coast Termite had to offer so we decided to use them to treat our termite problem. They were very thorough in the inspection of the house and went over the entire process with us. Any questions we had were answered quickly and knowledgeably. The two gentlemen that came to inspect our house initially were pleasant and easy going. They were considerate and seemed to genuinely care about the welfare of our family, especially considering we were expecting our second child. We liked them so much we scheduled the service for late June but our child was born a couple of weeks early so we postponed the treatment out one month. We still didn't feel comfortable treating the house with such a little baby we decided to postpone it again. They were very accomodating and understanding of our situation and didn't give us any problems about rescheduling or changing what we wanted to have done. They did finally come over and were very clean. The person who sprayed for pests we didn't think did that great of a job, however, they came out again and did it again and this next guy was really good. We have decided to sign up for their bi-monthly pest service and will see how it goes. It isn't the cheapest out there but I like their business practices and their eco-friendly products. I feel much safer letting my kids play outside.

outstanding .. i sooo wish we had used these guys on a previous termite issue instead of the national competition. they took extra effort to explain the various points of entry and treated not only the obvious termite holes, but the entire property. they werent' afraid to offer a strong guarantee and not just for a limited area. we have given our neighbours a strong recommendation as well.

Jason and Rob did a thorough inspection of our two-story home, as well as the garage - they were here for several hours. They were knowledgeable and professional, and answered all our questions. At no time did we feel we were being pressured. Treatment was scheduled for the following week, and all personnel were clean, courteous, efficient, and completed the work in two visits with a minimum of inconvenience to us. There was a strong but not unpleasant orange smell which lingered for several days (longer in one corner bedroom). The price was a little high, but ours is a large home with a severe infestation; and we were able to avoid the inconvenience of tenting and the added expense that would have entailed (moving to a hotel, boarding our pets, storing our food and plants). Treatment also includes a two-year warranty. We requested and were given an estimate for repairs, but with no pressure to pursue this at this time.

Subterranean termite tunnels were clearly visible in a disused corner of the garage, so we knew we needed treatment. Pacific Coast Termite provided a comprehensive estimate and clear description of all services to be performed, and were able to start the work within a few days. The PCT workers showed up on time, worked carefully around our pavers and landscaping, and even managed to treat the hard-to-reach second-story attic. They cleaned up everything and provided excellent documentation of all the worked performed plus their warranty. Hopefully we won't need termite services again for many years, but if we do we'll definitely call Pacific Coast Termite.

I almost sent the estimator packing initially. All he repeated over and over is What is your budget? To me that was a sign of dishonesty. Who has a termite budget anyhow? I had 3 estimates and he was the most thorough but not by far completely. I have a 2 story home and he tapped on eaves out front on lower roof but never addressed the back of the home which would have required a ladder. I felt he was lazy. He tried to lower the price but delete the 2yr warranty and pressured me to make an appt that day to get the priceof 1300. He did alter the canc within 3 days part when I caught that upon signing! Be aware! I am sensitive to smells and have health concerns so we didn't go with orange oil because the smell can linger. I was there while they did the work and when Steve was in the attic I smelled a pleasant wet wood smell just until he shut the attic back up. I was concerned about the holes they were going to make in the wall where the droppings were found but he made them tiny , and filled them and to be honest I am clueless as to where they are. Outside they drilled holes, injected and filled very neat! More termites were found in the garage and we ended up needing to move everything to the side but we finished same appt which I am grateful for. I have a couple of things while small, I will report. Steve was very professional. His buddy loved what he does and was very thorough in finding extra areas of infestation........ but also reported on something on my garage door then later I found a business card for a garage door company on my wall! I was put off by this....I don't know if it is his side job but the way he went about doing a garage door inspection before his wk and then I have a fairly new door and he was saying I need a new one. Unprofessional! and this same guy didn't even ask and went in with the buckets and tanks to my bathroom, getting " hot water", when they left I have tank marks and white chemical splashes all over the cabinets and walls and floor rings there and inside the front door. They put plastic down upstairs and wore foot covers. Nice guys overall happy. AND no termite droppings or smell to date!

Fantastic! Their price was much cheaper than the other two quotes I had, and the people doing the actual work were very pleasant. The company is very accommodating. I had to reschedule my appointment twice, at the last minute, and they didn't charge me extra or get angry or anything. It took 4 people about 4 hours to treat my whole house, and I feel very confident that they did a great job. I will definitely keep using them for all future termite problems.

They are very professional, thorough, and they have a very good guarantee. They are nontoxic, which I think is a very good feature and very important. Their price is fair.
