This is my second project with Anna; whom I found vial Angie's List. With each project, I spend some time by myself thinking about what I want in the rooms, what I don't want. These lists are input to Anna and what comes back are 2 or 3 very good options to use as the foundation. We spend some time tweaking and she give me the time to 'live with the ideas' before we kick off the next steps. Since I'm opinionated and participative, I go looking for inspiration which means Anna has a flurry of emails 'what about this, or would this work' from me which she handles quickly and with attention. Next is the "I'm SOOO confused and overwhelmed" stage (from me when I visit a tile store!)...so we coordinate a shopping trip for the 2 of us and 45 minutes later all the details are nailed down and the design is fabulous. She's with me for all the design decisions and guides me thru it with good options and support. She does not push her opinions or preferences; she listens well and works in whatever style I want. She allows me to get some crazy notions in my head and then gently works me back to practical. I love knowing that I can pick one thing that makes my heart sing and she can build a room around that simply delights me. I don't have the confidence to pick all the parts myself, and she has a great eye for color and coordinating elements.

She was very professional and had wonderful ideas and was able to provide me with great design/drawings of our new kitchen so that we could use them for bids with contractors. Helped pick out furnishing/rugs/colors for dining and living room as well.

It was very easy to work with her. She chose beautifully and followed my requests for the types of things I wanted. I am very very pleased with how the room turned out and I am very comfortable having people over in it.

This was my second time having Anna do remodeling work at my home. Like the first time, everything went very smoothly. Anna has a number very good professionals with whom works: painters, electricians, plumbers, carpenters. Anna also used some of my choice of contractors. The work was well organized and done on a timely fashion. I have gotten rave comments on great the Masterbed now looks. New paint job, new furniture, tile floors, marble countertops, decorations. Also, Anna designed some great 12 foot tall black blinds that keeps the bedroom incredible dark even with many large windows and east exposure in the morning. When I decide to redo the bottom half of my home, I will certain have Anna do the work. I am very impressed with her talent and ability to get the job done.

Anna is very accommodating, punctual, and responsive. I've asked to channel our coversations thru email and limit visit to weekends as I work full time and she's 30 minutes driving time away from my house. She came over for the first visit, listened to what I had to say, took some measurements, pictures, and the info I had prepared. We talked about likes, dislikes; I showed off some of the other projects/things I have ongoing to give her a sense of my style. She came back with a full set of drawings, samples, options and was very good about rolling with the punches when something wasn't to my liking. Overall, we were both aiming at about an 85-90% hit rate -- that is, I should find agree with her suggestions or choices about 85% of the time. She never tried to hold me to something I didn't like, unless there was a fundamental reason (space, practicality) that I should consider -- and she left it at that -- "you might want to consider"....never pushy. We're on to the next phase: me thinking it over, living with mock ups to see if I like the feel of the space, and a few edits to the drawings. So far, so good. She has a great color sense, and very liveable design.

We asked her to create a bathroom design that would appeal to both me and my husband. She listened to both of our taste and preference, which could not me more different, and blended them together to create something pleasing to both of us. She's delightful to work with and we would call her to help us again.

An incredibly positive experience! I made an initial appointment with Anna and she spent close to 90 minutes going over what I envisioned and what was workiing and not working for me. When she returned with her ideas and concept, it was pretty much dead on! The project is completed now and the vision matches the reality. It was such a pleasure working with Anna, whether in person or via email, she has a great attitude and brought an excitement to the project. I loved the fact that she was always so willing to meet me somewhere to look at products (especially the granite slab yards!) or to show me a product that another customer had installed in a home. She took into consideration my taste, budget and existing furnishings so that everything looks just perfect together.

She is excellent. She did the lighting, lighting texture, the painting, the floors, the carpets, the tiles on the floors and everything. It's easy to explain things to her. My likes and her likes are similar. She is prompt; she gets back and helps me in finding things that I need like window covering and carpeting. I feel happy with her.

Great! She suggested I replace my mirror over the fireplace with a painting and that I put that mirror over the short bookcases in the entry hall. On her advice I eliminated two occasional tables. She suggested a couple of paint colors for the walls and told me to buy small cans of paint to use on big pieces of cardboard to pin on the walls to see what I liked best. She suggested I brighten up my colorless kitchen by painting one wall a bright color and add new drawer knobs. She had a lot of other ideas too, almost all of which I used.

She is absolutely perfect! The best!

I have never used an interior designer before, so I was a bit worried. She was extremely nice and helpful. She helped us organize our home, gave us tons of ideas and for the work and ideas provided, we felt it was very reasonable price.
