+ -1 moreI called Toyama Pool Service as my pump was sluggish and I thought it might be need of repair. Matt answered my call and asked my quite a few questions to determine if my problem was my pump or some other problem. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and courteous. I wound pop calling him several times and he finally suggested that the problem might be that might filter needed cleaning even though I had cleaned it a month before. After I mentioned that i had been having algae problems he noted that algae can clog the filter even though it had been recently cleaned. He made some other suggestions to help clear my algae. I followed his suggestion and he was correct as my filter was dirty and full of algae. I followed his other advice and my algae problems are almost gone. I appreciated his patience and advice and will use Toyama when I need some pool service. I recommend them highly to others.

+ -1 moreMark and Brian from Toyama each discussed the job and quoted a fair price. Brian removed all the PVC not on the roof and even corrected an error on the existing plumbing. They cleaned up and hauled away all the old materials in an afternoon.
Description of Work: I got rid of my old solar heaters because the mounting had caused roof leaks after 20 years.

+ -1 moreThey were here on time, and VERY enthusiastic about their work. I wanted to know how to breakdown the filter myself and they were happy to walk me through the entire process. They even tested my water and advised me on several ways to treat it and keep it clean. Plus they took a look at the electrical set up for the spa light as it was not working and gave me advise on that. I could not be more pleased with their professionalism and dedication to their work - I found my "go to company" for my spa!

Description of Work: Drained/cleaned spa, cleaned and refreshed DE filter. Excellent communications throughout process. Mark was punctual and had very useful tips for maintaining and for upkeeping the spa. He suggested some repairs that they also provide since my spa is 14 years old now but it was not a high pressure sales pitch by any means. Price is on par with other similar services in the area. We will definitely call Toyama's Pool Service again for future needs.

Description of Work: Toyama's Pool Service conducts weekly pool service, maintenance, and repair. Our pool is always sparkling clean. They have done repair work on the pool and their bids are very competitive and they always finish their work on time. I don't worry about leaving the dogs in the backyard if I have to do errands because they interact really well with them and they are very careful upon leaving to make sure gates are secured.
