He is a general contractor. He does remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms, and is really good with plumbing. He did a lot of work for me. He pulled out all the carpet and padding, and took them to the dump. He demolished a lot of stuff, put up a wall and basically redid the entire kitchen, including the countertops. There was an old-fashioned fluorescent tube light-fixture in the bath and the kitchen, the size of a door, which he took out, and put in recessed can lights. It looks much bigger, airier and more modern now. He did some electrical work for me. He replaced the garbage disposal. He had to add a new socket underneath the sink because the plug of the new dishwasher that I bought was so big that you couldn?t plug-in the garbage disposal as well. He took out a couple of small windows and replaced one with a sliding door and the other with a much bigger vinyl window. He did all the patching of the stucco and everything. I had a deck that was outside my bedroom on the second floor that had a bunch of puncture holes in it, and water was getting down in there. Directly below the deck was a bathroom, and the ceiling of the bathroom had water damage. If you stuck your finger up in there, there was some mold. He basically ripped off the entire deck, found that the mold was in the old drywall, took out all the drywall that was damaged and scrubbed it down with bleach-water mixture to get rid of the mold. He replaced the drywall in the ceiling of the bathroom, and then replaced the deck above it and set it up for another provider to come in and put down this waterproof walk-able surface on top. He put some slate-type of stones on top of the waterproof surface. It looks really good now. He has a crew of about 5 guys. They were working non-stop. I didn?t see them taking breaks at all. They cleaned up everyday. They did a great job. The price of $15000 was very cheap for the amount of work that they did. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.
Description of Work: I got a house in an auction, and it was pretty messed up because it hadn’t been occupied in a while. I used Sonny Pham to remodel the house for me.
