Liz answered the phone and was extremely helpful in juggling schedules to get someone out ASAP. -Nick arrived promptly -Evaluated the situation -Explained what needed to be done There was no main clean out available inside the house, so Nick had to run the snake from under the bathroom sink to the main clean out in the front yard. He then had to snake from the front yard all the way to the city sewer line. It took quite a bit of effort to get things moving due to the extent of the stoppage. Nick not only removed the blockage, he also cleaned up the mess which had backed up in the toilet and tub. He was kind, courteous and conscientious. This is our third time using Professional Plumbing. Mark has also helped us with previous plumbing issues, one involving an upstairs toilet which leaked through to the ceiling in the room below. Both Mark and Nick were prompt, professional, worked quickly and efficiently; they are knowledgeable and both thoroughly explain what needed to be done, what it would take to correct the situation and the cost involved. I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again.

The plumber arrived on time, worked quickly and did excellent work. He was personable and explained what he was doing, and was someone I will hire again.

My conclusion the drain was running slow again in less than two weeks. My husband has done a better job without any special equipment. |Not happy will not do this again.

One of our showers had started leaking and then just stopped working all together. I have a 40 year old house and knew he wouldn't have the parts so I went out and purchased the parts ahead of time. He professionally installed them and sold me a new shower head for $10.

We found the "big deal" applied, and was scheduled in 3 days. Ian arrived just a bit before scheduling. Got right to work. Now toilet works great. We'll keep his number if we need any future service.

We used them twice within four days. 1st to snake house to clear drain and 2nd to install main line sewer clean outs. Our showers were backing up and the toilets were gurgling. We figured we had a clog somewhere in the house and bought the Angie's List deal $89 for $200 of work to get the house snaked. Unfortunately our house didn't have a main line clean out so we had to find another way to get the snake into the pipes. After searching the house and going over a few options we decided to go through the kitchen clean out. This took about 4-5 hours and we were able to use the coupon with no additional costs. He was able to get the clog running but he said not to use the water that much as the main clog wasn't resolved. To get the house up and running we needed to install a main line clean out and run a larger snake to get at the real issue (which was expected to be roots from a tree). That was a Friday and as the installation would take all day we scheduled that for Monday. Per his recommendation, we opted to put in a main line clean out in the front yard ($1,750). This was because of large trees in the front yard that he thought were clogging the drains and the main problem. We agreed because even if that wasn't the issue we would probably need clean outs at some point for easier access. Two plumbers arrived and started to work. They tracked the sewer line to find how it went through the house then were able to start digging to find the connection. There was a blockage where the cast iron pipe transitioned to the clay piping in our front yard. While there were some issues with the pipe, in general it was in working order and no tree roots were found. They finished up and said the house was in working order and we could go ahead and start using the house as usual. They didn't charge us for the camera work ($200) which was nice. While I don't think we needed the clean out in the end, and wish we could have saved it for another time, it is done and in the future any issues that arise will be solved easier (I hope). I thought they were nice, clean and worked hard. I would have given them an A at this point after what happened next I cant. We started to run the laundry that same night, which we had put off for almost a week because of all the issues and because he said to not use the plumbing unless it was essential. When the laundry hit the drain cycle the garage flooded. We called Professional Plumbers the next day and asked if they could come back and fix it. They said that it was impossible that any of the work they did could have caused the problem, and to fix the problem would be another service visit for a cost of $185. They were unwilling to negotiate on the price because they had already given us a deal on the camera work they did when installing the main line clean out. So $89 dollars to clear the pipes because the house line was clogged turned it to $1,840 dollars and at the end of the day the house was still clogged. Therefore I do not feel like they should get an A rating.

Chris was very professional, polite and listened to what my needs were. He did an excellent job and answered any questions I had. I would recommend him anytime for plumbing work.

Bought the Angie's List deal for $49 to replace the outside hose faucet and had a feeling it was to good to be true. That deal only includes unscrewing and screwing a new faucet on and not what I needed. Nothing against this company, because I found them to be great, but I think Angie's List needs to be more detailed as to what is included in these "deals" or include not to exceed wording. Chris showed up on time, was clean and pleasant (and very attractive), helpful, and informative. He explained that my situation was not included in the deal being it required way more work. He said they usually charge about $ 225 for that type of change. I authorized him to go ahead anyways. I think it took him about 1/2 hour to change it out (which required a torch) and now it works beautifully. I also asked him some questions about my water heater, which he promptly answered and then took a look at my situation. I'd definitely call them again. I gave them a B for pricing only because I wasn't prepared for that much cost and had no one to compare them to.

Technician's manner and appearance was professional and he got right to work and explained the method he was using to clear the drain. Drain was cleared in very short time. Very pleased!

After inspecting the toilet it was determined that we needed a special (Kohler) flapper and the plumber stated that we might as well replace the supply hose while we were at it then when off to home depot. After returning and replacing the parts (approx 15 min) he came to "settle" the bill....which we thought would be parts only. Well, we were handed a bill for $175 minus the $39. already paid for the Angie's List deal. The bill does not detail the extra cost just list it as "parts and labor". The courtesy of an estimate BEFORE he bought and installed the parts would have been appreciated. This is the second time we have purchased Angie's List deals for Plumber services and both times were up sold. The first time I confirmed with the scheduling person (another company) that the work needing done was within the scope of the coupon. Again charge significantly more....unfortunately I did not have the time to write a review at the time. Needless to say I will not be purchasing further "deals" of this sort.

I contacted them right away and I got an email back. They told me they cannot service me. When I bought it I didn’t know they couldn’t service my area. I called them and they said they couldn't service me even though I was just one county over. They service the cities around me so I don’t understand why they don’t service me. They were responsive, but I was disappointed that I could not use the Big Deal.

Chris, the owner visited my house. he did the initial work and also provide me with items that may have caused extensive damage to my heater. he showed me where some of the pieces, inside the water heater, had been worn out. he recommended a price that seemed fair and took care of the necessary items. I felt Chris presented why these items could be a deterrent and took the necessary action to remedy them. Throughout the entire process, Chris presented himself and his firm very well.

I had a new garbage disposal installed and before Mark left he checked out my water heater and the water line to my ice maker. Everything went very well and I will be calling them again to replace my water heater. They were the only plumbing company, out of the five I called, that new about and have worked with a "hydronic heating system". In fact, I called them twice before I had them do any work and they took the time to answer my questions and explain the pros and cons of different manufacturers. I have already referred them to a friend.

Had a problem with the slow draining toilets and leaking at the seals. The toilets were small. I've had Chris work on items before. He is very fair, never tries to build the total cost, very honest and does excellent work.
