My initial discussions were pleasant and they gladly provided references. The sticking point came about when I had my real estate attorney review their contract. Unfortunately, there are some clauses that pretty much redeem then from liability and any negligence they could be responsible for. I politely asked if we could make a few changes to the agreement, and even went as far to allow them to only be liable in cases of gross negligence. Unfortunately, the owner, Gary, was not polite in his responses. "With all due respect, why don't you have your attorney manage your property for you" was one quote from his contemptuous email, followed by a diatribe about how great they are that they would never make any errors. Needless to say, their lack of professionalism and ability to compromise meant my business went elsewhere. If you enjoy being belittled and demeaned, this is the company for you.
