Description of Work: This company cleaned and resealed floors with their product. The experience was quick and very professional. They even came back promptly after I noticed some spots that needed their attention. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Also known as one day no sand floors. Owner is Gus deFalco. Sales rep was terrific woman named Christian.

Description of Work: Overall, they did a great job. We were not completely satisfied with the floor in one of the rooms, so they came and did another sanding and coating. The 2nd refininshing was great. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Description of Work: After suffering a slab leak and full house repipe, we had One Day refinish the vintage wood floors, They were prompt, polite, effecient and did a great job with some minor repairs before the odor-free refinishing. Minor touch ups were required and they promptly and happily took care of it immediately. If the need arose I would have them back in a heart beat.

Description of Work: Repaired and resealed floor tile grout in kitchen and family room. Elizabeth called when she was stuck in traffic and going to be 15 minutes late. Worked diligently to mechanically scrub tile, repair grout where needed and reseal all. Floor now looks new (beyond expectation).

Description of Work: This was a coloring job on 35 feet of kitchen countertop - the technician showed up on time and spent about 3 hours - at the time it looked good and I signed off on their form re my satisfaction with the job - the only red flag at the time was when I asked her about normal maintenance upkeep she advised "I only do the grout - you'll have to call the company" - she later amended that to "will I use Windex, so that should be OK" So, I used Windex or dish soap and water for clean-up. I noticed cracking and peeling at the edges of the tile about a week ago - it was evening and I was out of town early the next morning and have just returned - I can see other areas that appear to be ready to crack - this is very old tile and maybe this was not a good remedy but I should have been advised - also, I think any experienced person should absolutely know what products to use for clean-up. I fault the company for this. I have called today but could only leave a voice mail message - hopefully they will respond and I will update this report as to the outcome - I may revise my opinion. The actual date of service was mid-September but unsure of specific date.

Description of Work: Ramon came and spent all day doing an excellent job scraping and restoring our old grout. At the end of the day it looked better than when it was new. We are very well-pleased.

Description of Work: After some initial confusion regarding the deal, Gus agreed to do my 420 sq ft of counter and floor tile for the $399 deal price. Apparently it typically has to be all floor tile and they usually charge another $300 to do the counters. Long story short my 25 year old kitchen looks amazing! Cleaning and sealing the tile counters and floor & restoring the grout color has made a dramatic difference. So much easier to keep everything clean now with just a wipe of a damp cloth - before we were scrubbing with a brush and cleanser constantly to try to get things looking clean. The 2 people Gus sent worked HARD for about 8-9 hours each. I had no idea this was such a work intensive process... Definitely do not do this yourself - hire Gus & his gang and you won't be disappointed!

Description of Work: He cleaned the tile and put a solution on our grout that added a color. We had it match our exiting grout as they do not move the refrigerator. It looks very good so far. We will be very happy if the grout stays clean as it was getting dirty in spots. You have to move your own furniture or they can supply someone to move it, but it is costly. So, we have to say we are very happy with this service so far. It has been a week and things look great.

Description of Work: Last contacted Gus on 9/15/14. No scheduled work date. If I had a larger area than 1/2 the area of tile and grout (approx 225 sq. ft.), I would definite use this company. Description of Work: Please refund my amount for the $399 special for 56% off Tile & Grout Restoration & Re-color with 25 Year Warranty. The owner Gus was very difficult with me on the phone. He said he couldn't clean only the bottom dirty half of the shower and bathtub wall, because "we don't do partials" and that the deal only included 1 shower even if it was only 50 square feet, when the ad said it covered 100 square feet of bathroom tile. He gave me the runaround again and again., He said he doesn't remember what the ad said, and he said again and again that he doesn't know why it said 100 square feet in his ad, yet he's the owner. Please refund the $399 amount ASAP. Thanks.

Description of Work: Cleaned and applied a wood protector to my wood stairs. It was fast and a temporary fix to protecting the wood on the stairs. It would have been great if I had done it before the protective layer had worn down and stains formed on the bottom stair from wear. I probably need to go to the expense of sanding the wood down. If you are starting to see wear in certain areas of the floor, I would move forward with this process to prevent further damage to your floors.

Description of Work: Vendor would not complete service on my 2" x 2" tiles as it would require too much work on their part for price paid. They would only complete work on larger 12" or larger tiles. Very disappointing that this was not disclosed in the advertisement by Angie's List. Took vendor one week to discuss my job and then to inform me they could not do it. Please refund money paid immediately.

Description of Work: We had both our tile grout refinished and our kitchen and entry floors cleaned and refinished by One Day No Sanding, and could not be happier! Ramon, the technician, was very meticulous in his work, and the tile grout, which is over 20 years old, now looks new! The floors, which are 15 years old, look fabulous! They are clean and newly shined and no longer appear old and worn. We are extremely happy with the jobs we had done, and would highly recommend One Day (and Ramon) to anyone!
