One Day No Sanding Wood Floor Refinishing

Not perfect but "refreshed". The operator however was not educated re marble. He put heavy equipment on my new marble countertop leaving terrible marks. They sent a repair person to polish the scratches. They're barely visible now. I will use them again but I will be there to watch their every move. The follow through on the repairs was superb. Now I have a marble person to call also.

There were some bristles & hairs under the sealer and some missed spots. When I called they were very kind and came out the next day to fix it.

Based on the before & after photos I thought they could get the dog stains out. They varnished over them. I payed 200 more for them to sand & restain & varnish and it came out really bad.

They were very punctual and efficient, they were in and out in just a few hours. The floors look great now!

Kitchen and laundry room. Prompt, courteous and neat. Not as good a job as sanding and refinishing but so much easier, faster and cheaper. I would do it again if it proves to be durable

Cleaned wood floor in 3 bedrooms and hall and re-stained. I thought the scratches and cracks in the wood would completely go away, but not the case. I will say that the floors got very clean and the stain helped the floors look newer. But the deep scratches and the color where the wood was worn down did not go away completely as was shown in the pictures of other jobs they had done.

They were excellent. The service was for them to clean and place polyurethane on my wood floors and I had a lot of etchings so I could not have buffing done so that's why I opted for this company because all they would do was clean and put polyurethane. It's a very specific clientele they cater to and it fit my need perfectly. I had additional work done so I paid them more money but it was worth it.

They cleaned and prepped my floors, stained them to match the rest of my house and gave them a thorough coat of finish. The workers were on time, neat, and respectful.

I bought the no sanding deal but due to the water damage to the floors we had to go with sanding. They applied the credit from the deal I bought to the sanding quote. Even with sanding there is minimal mess and the floors look GREAT! They were on time, professional and I would use and refer them in a minute!

I was interested in the no sanding hardwood floor refinishing. Gus asked me a few questions how I cared for my floors on the phone, and determined the no sanding wood work on my floors. The estimate for the work to be done was more than I wanted to spend.

My Bruce hardwood flooring is not that bad to spend the amount for all 4 bedrooms and a hallway. The price was not that bad but with our move we have been working on other items in our home. Gus just said get back to him if I wanted the project done.

The company rep contacted me about scheduling the work. I explained that the floors in the room were in pretty bad condition - similar to some of the floors that they had pictures of on their website so I was excited that they could refinish my floor with no sanding as they promoted on their website. He then explained that if my floors were in bad condition that this $99 offer would not get the job done and that I would need to pay them $700 to repair the floor. Since I had not budgeted for a $700 project at this time, I was not interested and he suggested that I get a refund and just recarpet the room! I appreciate his honesty as it would have been really upsetting to schedule the project, take time off of work and then have them tell me it would cost $700 to actually get the floor in good shape. UPDATE: The company rep contacted me about the rating I gave him. The D rating I originally gave was due to the fact that I felt the offer was not accurately conveyed. He explained that these offers are written by Angie's List staff, and they are responsible for the describing terms of the offer, not his company. Therefore, I give Angie's List a D for the lack of detail and specifics in the BIG DEAL offer. I cannot rate this company because they did not provide any service. But the owner/rep, Gus, was honest in explaining their services and did not take advantage or waste my time, so for that he gets an "A".

Everything went exact;ly as promised. They showed up on time, did what they said they would do and our floors look superior. The furniture moving team even measured so that our furniture went back exactly where it was before the project started. This was especially helpful with area rugs and some furniture that had a particular position on our walls. Three weeks afterward, our floors are still beautiful and we are very pleased. The whole process was exemplary. Gus and his team are to be complimented.

Gus explained precisely and I understood completely what he could do for me. I was impressed with his thoroughness explaining what my expectations needed to be. His people showed up on time, were courteous, and got to work upon arrival. Gus was very flexible in accommodating my ever changing remodeling schedule. A great experience!

The owner is very professional along with the workers who showed up to do the service. Owner sent out a full explanation of how proceedure is done and explained his service in detail. He was able to answer all my questions and concerns and was honest in answers. I LOVE my floors they look awsome and I highly recomend this company for your wood floor refinishing needs.

It went really good. Amy showed up on time. She was very professional, pleasant and did a very good job. She knew what she was doing and the floor turned out great. And, best of all, it only took 7 hours...as opposed to 3 days. Glad I found this company.

They have contacted me several times to get the job done but health issues have made it not possible to do just yet.

Gus was able to schedule us in very quickly and for a very fair price. We initially only wanted one bedroom done, and Gus was courteous enough to let us know that adding another room (a much bigger room at that) and the hallway would only bump the price up by $150 or so, so we took that offer. Gus called to confirm the time the day before. The technician showed up right on time on the day of and got straight to work. She worked quietly and diligently, only stopping to offer a bit of valuable advice. My only complaint would be that she didn't really fill any of the nail or staple holes that were left from the ancient carpet installation, and in some areas it's quite noticeable. However, because the condition of the carpet we were used to was so bad and the unfinished hardwoods were in such bad shape, this is a minor detail for us. Overall the floors look lovely-- I won't say like new, but still MUCH better. If such a detail is important to you, however, I would definitely make a point to remind him/her of the necessity to have the holes filled.

The process went great overall. Gus showed up and gave us a quote and the price did not change. He scheduled quickly which was great. Only negative (not really bad) was the installer was about 15 minutes late and finished a little later than planned. The end product is great and we get tons of compliments on our new floors.

The existing floors were in good condition, but were a golden oak color. My goals were to achieve a darker floor color, even out sun bleached areas, and repair minor scratches. Company staff discussed the project and provided a quote by phone, then followed up with a written contract proposal. The work crew of two arrived on time as promised, were knowledgable about the product, helpful in selecting a new stain color, and performed careful and clean work. I'm pleased with the result, and used a satin final finish coat and 3 color coats of walnut, espresso, and ebony. My only caution is with regard to selecting a color. Based on the website photos and marketing materials I was anticipating that it would be possible to significantly darken the golden oak color to a much darker brown. However, I learned that this is not possible. The color coat is very translucent so the end result is more like a dark pecan color than a brown despite applying 3 layers of progressively darker color tone. I was told that the only way to substantially change the color is to sand the floors to remove the original finish (a complete sanding is not part of the "dust free" process, which involves no sanding.) Also, I would suggest that the property owner make their own effort to carefully clean the floors first. The staff thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned the surfaces with a cleaning solution. However, when the final coating dried there are a few areas where small blemishes show. I believe these are from flecks of glue adhesive from the original floor installation that were adhered to the surface of the wood plank and absorbed the stain color differently than the varnished wood finish. This is not noticeable except on close inspection and is not a big problem. Although the color coats did a reasonably good job of blending the previously sun-bleached areas, there is still some sign of this on close inspection.

WOWOWOWOWOW!!! I am so happy with my STUNNING new refinished floors! They are beautiful! I struggled with the decision whether to do the floors myself ( I am a big DIYer) or to hire someone to do them for me. They were the best. Fantastic people, service. I needed to get my entire wood flooring refinished. Called OC Dust Free. They came out right away, measured, went over all the specific details and gave me an exact job cost quote. I had 2 other estimates, both were higher than OC Dust Free. I gave a deposit and we schedule the work to be done the days I wanted. The day of the work OC Dust Free arrived on time, the workers were professional and polite. They did a great job, my house was put back in perfect condition, clean and neat. I have since referred them to 3 family members, all were as satisfied as we were.

It turned out beautifully. The price was very reasonable, they were punctual and the person who came out was extremely professional. I was very pleased that his shirt had the company's logo so that I knew it was them. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
