One Day No Sanding Wood Floor Refinishing

My light colored ceramic tile floor and especially the grout was looking pretty grungy despite being professionally cleaned a couple of different times over the years. One Day No Sanding Floor Refinishing made my ceramic floors and grout look like new again. And almost two months later they still look like new. I was so happy to learn about color sealing and know that the grout won't ever look dirty again. I bought a pH neutral floor cleaner (no rinse) as they suggested, and it's been really easy to keep the floor looking bright and clean.

He was fine. I wasnt able to use the deal because he doesnt do marble floor, only ceramic tile.

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs beyond the price of the deal. They did fine job. He did everything hat he said he would do and completed the work all in one day. They did an excellent job and I would hire them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out great; very good. They did a nice job and were very good.

I purchased the deal for re-grouting tile, but they do not offer this service. They were very polite and helpful.

I decided the same day as purchase that I do not need the Big Deal at this time and requested a refund.

I ended up selling the home I had purchased the Big Deal for and no longer have hardwood flooring. I have contacted Angie's List in order to get a refund of the Big Deal purchase.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was not great, but it was fine. It was less than I expected. They probably billed it exactly as it was, but it was not sanding; it was buffing and they didn't sand anything. There was no extra charge. The woman was probably seven months pregnant but she worked really hard and it's hard not to appreciate that. I was expecting the wood to look more freshened up but it wasn't what I got. Nothing that they did was wrong or not quality work; it's just the confusion in what we thought we were getting compared to what we got. We probably would have no problem using them again if there would be a better clarity on expectations.

Our floors were in good shape except a few dents and a little discolored from the sun. The finish made it look a little better. overall the small dents were still there but our floors just looked a little newer after the work had been done.

The finish and the stain has come off in places and as a result you can see the old stain. It does not look good. Next Time I will have the floor sanded and stained.

First, the details of the deal were just not what was advertised. Secondly, the service provider would have to travel far to get to us and was going to charge for travel. Thirdly, he wanted to charge me additionally to do the exact job we desired. He wasn't a bad guy, but the Big Deal just wasn’t convenient for us so we got our money refunded.

They were very responsive. They worked on it the correct way. It looks perfect.

The work was going to be a huge undertaking. We have a piano and a large fish tank that they would need to move, and it would be an extra cost to do it. That wasn't a problem, we just aren't prepared to follow through with it.

They were great about the service. The floor turned out very nice. I had to finish the rest of the floors of the house myself. Scheduling was just excellent. There were two people here doing the work and it took a full day to complete the job. It was nice, they left me a large amount of urethane sealer.

They did an excellent job and they were great. I love them. With my flooring, it didn't take the process so they gave me a credit which I thought was wonderful. They were looking to make me happy. Basically, I would use them again without question and I would definitely recommend them. I thought their price as very reasonable because it was going to avoid any headache of sanding and it was going to be a process of just a day. I was looking forward to that. It will be great for many floors which has many scratches but not the deep scratches. They did a wonderful job. It didn't make the house dusty at all because they used their vacuum with their sander. When I wasn't completely satisfied with the first process, they did everything that they needed to do to make it right. That's what I really appreciated because I don't always find that. They went over and above. I am pleased with this company. They did an awesome job. They were on time and everything went well.

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and pleasant. I had to reschedule work date at the last minute because of other work being done in house and Marilyn, the lady who schedules appointments was very understanding. The young lady who refinished floors, Amy was very nice and did a great job. I was a little disappointed on how much baseboards were smeared with residue. The floors look so much better than they did and my husband and I are very pleased.

We wanted to have old hardwood floors that had been previously carpeted refinished if they were not too far gone. I would say they were in average condition before the service. I spent a lot of time after pulling the carpet myself scraping off drywall and paint overspray from when the house was remodelled 25 years ago. Surprisingly, the floors were in OK condition, just dirty and in a couple of places water stained but our objective was to clean and seals the wood as area rugs would cover any imperfections. I had asked if the cleaning process would remove anything on the floor and was told that drywall overspray would because it is water based. I scraped paint spotting as best I could and puttied in small holes and carpet strip tack holes. Our technician arrived on time and used her floor cleaning machine to remove dust, dirt and some of the drywall overspray. It did not remove paint spattering that I missed so anyone who has that should plan to remove it via scraping or chemicals before the cleaning. After an hour or so the tech returned from lunch and proceeded to apply the resin. It took an hour or so to dry to the touch and we were advised to let it set up for another 4 hours before walking on it. Then a full 24 hrs before moving anything back. These times proved to be accurate. There is little odor although we had our windows open just in case. The finish is acceptable for the pricing and I feel the service provided good value for money. However, if you are very picky or have high expectations for what this can do for your floors, you may not find it to your liking. It would be best to contact the owners to discuss this ahead of time to make sure you are not disappointed.

The young man showed up on 8:30 am Saturday morning to refinish 276 square feet of our hardwood floors, He was very well mannered, and explained the process. We moved all the furniture out of dinning area and front office. He began color enhancing and refreshing blending our very worn hard wood floors,. we then had a damaged strip of wood in our office that he filled in by hand. he had to strip floors of cleaner I was cleaning my floors with I have had several cleaning people that have caused water damage on my floors., So they were in pretty bad shape. He lastly applied the sheen color to my floor. we picked satin. I was told not to walk on floor on floors for four hours. we waited until the next day.and we replaced furniture 24 hr later. I am very happy with the results, and will use them for the rest of my home. I wish I would of used this service several years ago. I will have 1day no sanding come out after i install my central air, and replace my living room wood where floor furnish is, and finish the rest of my home. Very happy with them.! The best deal I purchased on angles list!

They showed up on time. Did a walk thru with us. They said it would take 6 to 8 hours and it was closer to 8 hours. Our floors hadn't been treated in 20 years so there were stains and wear areas. With their treatment, they don't sand, so the stains are still there but overall the floors look really nice. That is why I rated Good versus Excellent. The wear areas look nice with the new finish. Wished we had done this years ago. The price with the Angie's discount made it affordable. To actually sand, stain, and reseal would have been over $10k so this is a great alternative and most of the house looks very good. Will definitely do this again.

The tech; Ramon was punctual and professional. He worked quickly and did the job in 4 hours, just like he said when he arrived. Tile and counters look new and we are well pleased. We will be looking to One Day to do our hardwood floors, when the time comes. My only criticism would be that while the ad stated 250 square feet of grout/wood floor restoration, and we had less than 100 square feet done, there should be some form of credit for future work.

Prior to my appointment, Gus (owner) answered all of my questions whether via phone or email. I had some reservations about the No Sanding process as I wanted my floors stained several shades darker (from a pecan to walnut). Gus explained that this could not be accomplished with that treatment but given their guarantee (if not satisfied payment can go towards traditional sanding) I decided to proceed. Amee & crew showed up on time and explained the process. While, as explained, the floors did not get to the color I originally wanted, they did get darker (maybe a shade or two) but they definitely look 100% better. I recommend this process for those who want their floors refreshed and who are only wanting to go slightly darker than their current shade.

They were nice, kind and curtious. they worked within the schedule and they weren't very expensive. Didn't get the exact results that i wanted but the floors were nice and shinny after. I just think my floors needed more work than they could provide. No problems with the provider at all.

I called him and he didn’t want to come up to do a small area. He is in Irvine and I am in Woodland Hills which is a few hours away. I told him I would try to get a bigger area but I am not sure how to work with him because he wants to do a larger project than I need. I understand why he wouldn’t want to do such a small project I just wish he would of made the advertisement more clear.
