I had contact with Noritz shortly after the death of my husband last summer. I do not recall all of the details but they could not have been more helpful going out of their way to be of assist re a hot water issue in the kitchen due to a water pressure problem. After that was solved and there were no problems for several months, I again had to seek help as the unit failed and water leaked from it shorting it out. Noritz promptly sent all necessary items for a fix under warranty and it has again been made operative. Note please, they are OVER THE TOP in customer service and their product is THE BEST. I am 75 and not tech savvy...they went out of their way to help me and the first class customer service and kindness is to be lauded.

UPDATE: Noritz finally fixed the noise issue, which was in fact a faulty device in the unit. They simply removed and replaced it. However, they never reimbursed me for all the "fixes" they made me do at my own expense. Immediately after installation of the tankless unit by a licensed, high-quality plumber, a loud electronic noise could be heard from the Unit as well as through the water lines in the house. After repeated efforts to reach Noritz, we finally got a service tech on the phone who advised we add a "check valve" to the system. At my expense (the homeowner) we added the check valve but the problem persisted. We contacted Noritz again and the same technician advised us to add a pressure regulator. We added a pressure regulator, again at my expense. The problem persisted. Noritz then stopped returning my plumber's calls until I sent both an email and called Noritz myself. After providing yet more advice by phone, Noritz finally agreed to send a "technician" to my home at their expense. This was after 2 months of bad advice and troubleshooting. The technician, Damian, said the noise was coming from a "servo" and that the noise was a problem known by Noritz. He said, "Isolating the unit from the house sometimes works." When my plumber called the top technician manager, Bac, said there was nothing more he could do. When my plumber asked for the name of a more senior manager, Bac refused to provide his/her name. When my plumber asked why known noise problems weren't addressed in the installation manual, as were other known problems, Bac did not have an answer.
