Chris did a great job at half the price of another highly rated Angie's list service provider. He was prompt (actually about 5 minutes early which I find to be extremely rare). No nonsense or upsells, just replacing the springs and rollers as needed. I wish all service providers and tradespeople were this honest and did quality work like he does.

I was a new customer, and Chris came out to my home on a Saturday to make needed temporary repairs on my broken garage door. He then ordered and installed a new door and opener on my garage the next week.

Everything went fine. He replaced the bad unit and hauled the old one away. He was very professional and let us know what was going to happen along the way.

After selecting Huntington Valley Garage Doors based on Angies list reviews, I emailed Chris my request for an estimate on Friday, 8/17/12. He called the next day and we scheduled his visit for 2:00p Tues. 8/21/12. He showed up at the scheduled time, took measurements for the doors and advised me of the room he would need to do the installation so I could clear the clutter. Told me he could install a high lift on the front door so I would not have to move a tall storage cabinet. After seeing door samples I decided on insulated doors. His estimate was fair and reasonable, and there was no sales pressure. I gave him a deposit and told him I would need a couple of weekends to get ready for the installation. A week later we scheduled the installation for 9/5/12. Chris arrived just before 9:00a on the 5th as schedulled. Helped move 4 large items out to the drive way and then went about the door removal and installation. The job was completed, and items returned to the garage, just before 7:00p. His workmanship, attention to detail, and attitude is outstanding and very professional. If you need new doors installed or old ones serviced, Chris is the one to call.

Outstanding. Chris gave me a price over the phone and honored the price even though he did more work than he originally anticipated. He came out at 8:30 at night and spent over 2 hours to make my garage door run smoother and quieter than it has done in several years. I highly recommend him.

Chris came out the day we called him, at the time he'd promised. He explained all the options we had to choose from in order to get our garage door in working again. After we chose to upgrade the motor system, he told us how much it would cost and how long it would take him to install. He had all the necessary parts in his truck. He finished the job in two hours, as he'd promised. And then cleaned up after himself. We couldn't be more pleased with his service. He was prompt, professional, and helpful. We're very happy with our new garage door opener: it's quiet, responsive, and effective. Also, my husband said that it cost less than he'd thought it would. We're glad we chose the upgrade and we're glad we called Chris.

Prompt, professional. Garage door was stuck, he put in a temporary fix to make it workable and then came back to install a new garage opener mototr system and rails. He is not the cheapest but did an excellent job, really understands his products, came promptle, works clean and quickly Update:- There was a small problem with the power supply to the opener about a week after install. Installer came the same day he was called and fixed it easily at no charge. Very good service.

Garage door had became increasingly noisey over several months when it finally stop moving. The door is 25 years old and had one of the two springs replaced in sept. 2005. New opener in 2002. With this info and the door looking lower on one side I thought it might cost me big. I called two companies around 4pm on 9/22/10, the first one could not come until 9/24, the second guy (Huntington Valley) arrived less than hour after call. He said all I needed was opener part (traveler), spring adjustment and servicing for a grand total of $125, part included. He adjusted springs and returned the following day (9/23) with new traveler. He installed part and finished servicing door. He explained door operation, problems, what services he would perform and total price before I agreed to have him do the work. Very proffessional, courtesy and did an excellent job for a good price.

This was a great experience. Chris did an excellent job replacing a broken window on our garage door. We had called two other companies and the first one told us we'd have to replace the whole door and the second one gave us a much higher quote, because of the difficulty of the job. I'm so glad we decided to make one more call. Chris came right out, gave us a reasonable quote, did a quality job, even touched up a crack in the door for us, and he was very nice and very professional. I highly recommend him and will be using him in the future for any garage door repairs/replacements.

He had to take the door apart to put in the springs. He completed the work very quickly. His pricing was very reasonable and the quality of his work was good.

We had a garage door emergency after dinner due to a broken spring. I found Huntington Valley Garage Doors via a search on Angie's List. I left a phone message at ~ 8:30 PM and did not expect a call back until the following morning. When I turned my cell phone on at 7:00 AM the following morning I found that Chris Hanscom, the company's owner had left a return message at 10:15 PM the previous evening. This responsiveness is representative of all the communication required to get Chris to our home and get the job done. He showed up exactly on time (9:00 AM) to assess the situation and re-hang the two top sections of roll-up door that that had fallen the night before. I imagined that he would need a day to get the necessary parts and return to fix the door. Instead he scheduled a return visit in the early afternoon and completed all the repairs and refurbishment of our garage door. Chris was extremely efficient and clean in his work and accomplished in a couple of hours what I am sure it would take others a half day to do. Chris's estimate for the parts and labor required fix and renovate our door was extremely reasonable. His knowledge and work was terrific. I would recommend Huntington Valley Garage Doors to anyone interested in getting their job done well, efficiently and promptly. The cost for all

great service, gave me alot of info on different types of opener systems before I made my decision. When he arrived, I explained the problems we were having and Chris said it was caused by the sensors not being in alignment and he could have just fixed them and go over the old system for a $95. service call. But I decided that I would rather have a new better system installed. I felt he was very honest and will call him again if I need new springs or a new garage door.

IT'S THEIR KNOWLEDGE. THEY'RE ON TIME. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK AS AGREED. WHEN I ASKED HIM QUESTIONS, HE GAVE ME ANSWERS THAT MADE SENSE TO ME. I REFUSE TO USE SOMEONE WHO SAYS THAT WILL WORK LIKE SOMETHING OR GIVES ME TECHNICAL ANSWERS.
