Called Chris in the morning to repair damaged garage door. Chris said he could be there in 2 hours, and he showed up on time. Thoroughly assessed damage and provided various options, not pushy. Completed repair same day, even though he did not have all parts on hand. He committed to complete the job same day and he did. Chris is knowledgeable, fast, clean and committed to doing a great job. Will definitely use him for future jobs, A+ quality work.

Called Chris on a Saturday morning once I discovered the problem. He did a great job of communicating and following up as we tried to set up a time for him to look at it. Fortunately he had the parts on his truck and quoted a fair price to replace the springs and tune up the door as well as the other door. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Chris is the best - look no further! I was having a hard time getting a hold of the company that installed my garage door a few months ago. They did a very poor poor job: gaps, skews, squeaks, and flimsiness all over the place. And then they stopped answering phone calls and emails... Oh well. So I called Chris after reading some good reviews. First off, Chris correctly identified all the issues over the phone, without even looking at the door. He gave me a very competitive quote for an estimated one hour of work to correct all the problems. Chris was also very flexible and was able to accommodate my busy schedule. Once at the house, he clearly and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and then completed all the work in less than an hour, in a very professional way. He adjusted the door and all the fixtures and completely eliminated all skews, gaps, and squeaks. And then he even fixed something I did not originally ask for - rehung the existing opener, which was not installed properly. Chris also programmed my built-in car remote, it took him less than a minute and he did not even need any codes or instruction manuals. Bottom line - I am extremely satisfied and I highly recommend Chris for any garage door jobs.

I have used them before to replace the spring on the single car garage door. After calling Chris to setup an appointment for that afternoon, he called back later to reschedule the original appointment time by about an one hour because he was running a little late. After he arrived, he promptly repaired the broken springs and cleaned up the the broken pieces to complete the job.

Fantastic - Chris was a pleasure to work with and spent a lot of time with me while I did my due diligence and determined exactly what I wanted. I met him at the showroom and explored the various options. We had to get creative to make railings fit around existing shelving, a task he approached without hesitation and with really great results. He was also able to "make it happen" on a particular window treatment I wanted. The door looks great, works flawlessly, and the wife loves the indoor monitor. Most importantly to me, in dealing with Chris I was dealing with an owner operator. Because he was the installer in addition to providing the service I knew in advance who I would be dealing with. This meant a great deal to me and allowed me to enter into the transaction with confidence. Early Monday morning, I discovered that my garage door would not open. Fortunately one of our cars was outside. I called two other companies, before HVGD, but nobody answered. Chris answered immediately, and within an hour called me back with an appointment that morning. He came out right on schedule and repaired two broken springs. After mentioning the remote didn't always connect, he looked at the motor; it was almost 20 years old, way past it's prime. I had the motor replaced; now the remote works like it's supposed to and the door is very quiet. Very happy with the product and the service.

So I called at 8:30 am - car stuck in garage, can't open door, late for school! Chris arrived by 9am, repaired, replaced and maintained the door and has already left and its not even 10am! Great job!

Chris from Huntington Valley Garage Door came on a Sunday afternoon and repaired the spring system and checked all the mechanisms. He adjusted where needed. Chris is a true professional and he did have all the parts on his truck. I have to say he left the garage cleaner than when he came. We were glad to have him come on Sunday because my wife leaves for work at 6:00a.m. and she was working Monday.

They were very prompt at calling and making an appointment. He gave me several options to choose from and got everything done that he said he was going to do. The work was also done very promptly and I had no issues.
