If I could give this company an A+++, I would. Last night after using the oven on my Kitchenaide Dual Fuel Range, I forgot the turn off the oven for approximately two hours. When I went into the kitchen the display panel read crazy things and I could not get the oven door open. At 8:50PM there wasn't much I could do and thank God Pacific Sales was open for a few more minutes and was able to tell me to shut off the power for a few minutes which fixed the display panel and allowed me to turn off the oven. But I still couldn't get the door open. Having no sleep last night for fear of fire, gas leak, or whatever I called G & H this morning and spoke to Debbie. She took all my info and called me right back and talked me through how to get it open. She was kind, extremely helpful, sensed my anxiety, and couldn't do enough for me. And on top of that there was no charge to me as she helped me solve the problem over the phone. I am sure their in home service is as amazing as Debbie. All I know is that I definitely won't have to look any farther for all my appliance repairs. I will just call G & H. Thank you Debbie. You will never know just how greatly I appreciated your help!!! He showed up on time, he was thorough and detailed with the explanations of the fix.

The repair was quick and price was affordable.

I called and the problem was fixed first thing the following morning. He is very friendly and helpful he even went so far as to show me how I could clean the trap out myself for next time to save me some money. I will definitely call him next time the need arises and I will refer him to all my friends and family. He did a great job!

When I called Debbie asked me all the right questions to help identify possible problems. She scheduled me for 9 to 11 today. At 8:30 Debbie called to say that the technician was on his way. Woody showed up at 9:00 am. He immediately started work on the oven, tested the glo bar in the oven and confirmed that it was burnt out. He had already brought a replacement part, replace it and fired up the stove immediately. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Took about half hour. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and use them in the future.

They fixed it on the spot on the first visit and the cost was reasonable. They were very professional.

Two refrigerators malfunctioned. One had a malfunctioning icemaker. The other was freezing everything in the refrigerator solid. Woody showed up on time and was prepared with one of the parts needed based on the telephone troublshooting we had done. The icemaker had a stripped drive gear. This required the icemaker module to be replaced, which now functions like new. Woody was thorough and I noted he was not only very knowledgable about these appliances, but he inspected the entire system to ascertain the integrity of everything before completing the job. The second refrigerator had a defective thermostat mechanism. The part was ordered and Woody returned the following day to complete the installation. Again, he was quite thorough and explained what he was doing and why throughout the entire process. We were only charged the minimum labor rate for each device, which was very fair. The service provided was "as advertised" and any time we have an appliance issue, we'll call G&H. Woody was very persoanble and considerate of our home and furnishings.

Debbie, his wife is very knowledgeable and asked for the model number and year of the oven. She even knew where to find such information. She also set up the appointment and told me there would be a $60 fee for a house call. When it was time for Woody to come out he had the right heating element and installed it. He was very nice and professional. The oven works great again! Let me just add that I paid the same amount for another oven 25 years ago!

G&H is very trustworthy! He came out once and fixed the fridge in the garage, where it had been moved to accommodate the new fridge. The repair involved a new heater (paradoxically) and another part. We moved the fridge back in, and it worked for a couple of days and then quit cooling again. He came back out again, and this time had to replace the motherboard/CPU. He did not charge us a service charge for the second visit, just for the part. He is completely trustworthy because we had to leave early on his first visit, and he did the job and closed up the garage properly before he left; and then we couldn't even be present for his second visit at all, as we were both at work, but we gave him instructions for entering the house, and he did the job, left the old parts, locked up the house appropriately, and called us in the afternoon to let us know what he had done. The old fridge makes lots of noises some days, but it's still running and keeping our food cold. And $350 beat the heck out of what we were going to pay for a fancy new fridge that didn't even work.

My mom and dad would always call Guy from G&H Appliance to come fix all of our appliances when I was a kid in the 80's. I was surprised to see that they were still in business when I was looking for repairs to my fridge. Woody, who is Guy's son-in-law, showed up as promised and took to investigating why my fridge's door was not closing properly. He found that the foot screw was stripped and this was causing the door and the box to become misaligned so they would not seal when shut. As this was a second-hand fridge, he did not have the correct part on his truck. He did not give up as he went down to his truck and brought up some odds & ends and came up with a solution to correct the height adjustment and realign the door to the box. I was very pleased with his service, courtesy, charm, and that he did not give up and simply have me order an expensive part that I didn't really need.

Woody was wonderful! He was not initially familiar with my model of refrigerator so he downloaded the manufacturers manual, studied the specifications prior to coming back to make the repair. He wanted to insure that I didn't have extended down time and/or spend money replacing a fan unnecessarily. I had just moved in and was having my 11 year old niece for a visit. He made sure I was up and running in time.

I've used G&H for many years. No complaints. They always come promptly when something breaks down. Last time it was my 20 year old dryer that stopped heating. Before that it was my oven door that wouldn't close. They have fixed my dishwashers, washers, dryers, stoves, you name it. It's nice to deal with a good small local business that cares about its customers.

I called G&H APPLIANCE for a repair on our oven and left a message and received a prompt reply. I know being self-employed myself and a member of angie's list how important it is providing an excellant service can be. I'm very satisfied with Woodies response and service, I highly recommend him to anyone looking for appliance repair.

He was wonderful. He was above and beyond honest and saved me a ton of money. He didn't replace anything that was not necessary. He was friendly and had a great attitude. His price was really low as well.

I had drainage issues with my washing machine. He was able to repair it and give me a couple of hints to keep it from flooding again. Also gave me a heads up on what to look/ listen for when it was ready to be replaced since it was heading in that direction. I was appreciative because it gave me time to save money, look for something I like, and purchase it when it was on sale before the washer died. He was on time, clean, informative, and thorough.

I called and Deborah (?) asked me several questions, then said she'd call me back because she thought he was in the area. He was and I was the next call. He came in, knew exactly what was wrong, and fixed it immediately - altogether, from 1st phone call to him walking out the door with my check - was about 2 hours! Amazing! Bonus: I loved how he treated my dog - I know that might sound stupid, but he was very sweet and patient with my neurotic rescue dog who was mistreated by someone in the past. He petted him and even opened up his tool box so doggus could sniff everything. Yes, he provided great service, but better than that, he was nice to my dog. Love that!

Thursday: I became suspicious that the refrigerator was not properly freezing or cooling even though it was running continuously. Friday: I searched Angies List for Appliance Repair Companies and found G & H Appliance with several good recommendations. Friday evening went to G & H Appliance web site and submitted request for service appointment on Saturday. Saturday: Received call from Woody about 9 AM. He explained that he would not be able to provide service that day due to illness and other commitments. We discussed my problem and scheduled his service call for 8 - 9 AM Monday. Monday: Woody showed up promptly at 8 AM and quickly confirmed the problem to be a faulty defrost timer as suspected during our Saturday phone conversation. He defrosted the freezer to get refrigerator temporarily working again until he could return and install replacement part. He returned about 4:30 PM and installed the new defrost timer. I had also asked him to look at issue with broken line to the door water dispenser, which he did. After looking at what would be required to fix the water line, the decision was to not repair. What a pleasure to fine someone who explained everything, quoted a fair price, and completed the repair in a totally professional manner. I will definitely use Woody for any future large appliance repair requirements and highly recommend him.

I called him back and he said that I would have to get a new refrigerator, because it was 20 years old and there were no other means to fix it. He returned some of my money because he was unable to help me out as well.

My Kitchen Aid oven stopped working (heating) after I ran the self-cleaning function. I called G & H and explained the problem to Deborah. She set up an appointment for me and called me the morning Woody was scheduled to come out to let me know when he would arrive. When he arrive, he had already picked up the piece he suspected needed to be replaced, so once he tested the oven and found that that was indeed the needed replacement, he was able to fix it on the spot. Woody was very pleasant, professional, and took care to treat my oven (and wood floor, since he had to pull the oven out) gently. He even helped me clean out accumulated dust and dirt. Would definitely use G & H again.
