He is extremely good. He was excellent. It was a nice service. He may be retiring soon. He had an injury on one leg.

Woody and his wife were rock stars. He was chatty, personable and demonstrated great expertise. He found a clogged line and worked hard to fix it. He even bled a little in the process -- without any complaint to me whatsoever. This is my go-to guy for dishwasher repair for as long as he wants to working at it. A+

Very professional and friendly service all around. Next day service. Quick trouble shooting and resolving problem. Excellent explanations of problems and issues. Update November 2014: The problem returned with ice forming at bottom of freezer about two months later. I decided to open the drain hole myself this time. This worked for about another three months but ice returned. Since my refrigerator is about 12 years old, I called to get a ball park estimate on what it might cost to fix this problem properly. I was told I'd have to pay for another service call. Since I had already paid for a service call plus repair expense on this exact issue, I thought they would be willing to give me a ball park on repair so I could decide to repair or get another refrigerator. Dissatisfied with this level of customer service.

I called on friday 28th march and actually spoke to Woody the owner. I told him what i needed ,i stayed on the phone while he checked that he could order and get it . He ordered it (while i was on the phone) assured me that it would be here by monday the 30th. He also made the appointment to come out on tuesday between certain times.(in same conversation) Arrived as he said at a perfect time . was really nice to my dog,just thought i would throw that in there. Fitted part cleaned all the glass parts ,it looks really good. I would definitely recommend him and use him again. I didn,t realise it would be so easy to repair this oven as i have put it off for a long time. Woody made it simple thank you

Woody was great!! He responded to my messages quickly... He did the work I needed... He was very pleasant, efficient and courteous... He was also very fair with his fees!!!! I will use his services again when needed.

The service was scheduled for 3/26/14 between 8 and 10 AM to diagnose and repair the awful noise that our Kitchen Aid dishwasher door was making every time we opened or closed it. Woody arrived at 8:30 with Kitchen Aid replacement pulleys and was finished installing them by 9. Because he had to pull the dishwasher out to install the new parts, we were concerned that the legs might cause damage to the cork floor in our kitchen, but Woody came prepared with two 6" wide flat metal runners to slide the dishwasher on to.

Arrived at appointed time. Quickly determined and fixed problem. Explained the repair and also answered general questions I had about washer/dryers. Used genuine manufacturer replacement parts (Whirpool in my case) which I hope means better quality.

Woody arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time and completed the repairs within a half hour. He also attempted to snake our exhaust pipe that goes under several feet of floor to the outside wall, thinking it could have been clogged and burned out the part. It wasn't clogged, but he took the effort to make sure. The dryer is old. He was courteous and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better experience. We had called him earlier for a possible leak in the washer that I had suspected was simply due to over stuffing the washer. The missus insisted on a professional to make the call, but he gave us some advice over the phone to try again when it was dry rather than making a costly service call. Needless to say, I called back when a real problem happened shortly after.

Responsive...on time...good estimate of costs early...professional...competent...better than anticipated. He repaired the refrigerator defrost. Saved the food. On a second visit, after getting parts, he fixed a hinge on the fridge door that was worn and allowed room air to infiltrate the fridge. I have already recommended them to a close friend.

His wife answers the phone and researches the part...she got back to me promptly with date to install (3 days later). Woody came on time, was very neat, clean and efficient. I also don't think he upcharges on parts. My dogs loved him which is always a very positive sign!

WOODY IS VERY RELIABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE CAN FIX ALL APPLIANCES! (I THINK! I'VE USED HIM 3 TIMES WITH TOTAL SUCCESS!)

had problem with my fridge water dispenser. Woody fixed it eventhough he had to eat the cost of a part he thought would be used to fix the problem. Very professional

I can't speak enough praises for this company. I wrote a review of this company back in June. At that time I called them because I couldn't get my oven door open. I was very panicked and the owners wife talked me through it. There was no money involved and I was just so appreciative. So when my washer broke two days ago, I didn't even need to look them up. I had put their number in my address book. They were so kind, prompt, courteous, and their prices were very reasonable. It saddened me to see the person who wrote the unkind review and gave them an F because they said they didn't work on Kenmore's. Well I have to say, he did an excellent job on my KENMORE washer yesterday. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to give this family run business an A++++. I have given their name to several people.

It went great. Woody came out and diagnosed the problem right away. He got the replacement parts and finished the job the next day. He was very friendly, knowledgable and professional and got the problem solved very quickly. I would definitely call G&H Appliance Repair again.

.My refrigerator broke, and I was initially going to replace it as I guessed it was maybe 10 years old and everything I read or heard indicated buy a new one if it was 10 years old or more. I shopped around for a new replacement, same size, type, etc. and had sticker shock. I decided it was worth a service call to get advice on repair or replace. I checked Angie's List and called three appliance repair companies. Two, were voice mail and I didn't leave a message. On my first call to G&H Appliance, I spoke with Debra. She was very thorough in asking questions regarding the problem, the product, and explaining the service call charge. An appointment was set, and I appreciated that they accommodated my flexible work/lunch schedule with phone calls and meeting at the location with minimum wait time. It was really a pleasant experience, great customer service. When I met Woody, I immediately knew I made the right choice. He was very nice, had years of experience, and I had no doubts he would be honest in diagnosing the refrigerator for the existing problem; evaluating other existing problems or the onset of possible ones in the near future; and, advising me on the overall condition of it. He checked the refrigerator out and informed me that the refrigerator was 14 years old (wow, time flies). However, it was a basic refrigerator, no bells or whistles, no electronics, etc., and in his opinion, it was worth repairing. Because Debra asked a lay person the right questions, Woody came prepared and was able to give me a cost on part and labor. I thought it reasonable and he repaired it. After all was said and done, he said I should get another 5-years out of the refrigerator. We live in a throw-away society, but I saved hundreds of dollars seeking out the advice of a true professional that was recommended on Angie's List.. I would not hesitate to call G&H Appliance in Fountain Valley for any future appliance repair. From office to field A+.

he said he didn't repair Kenmores. Your service as well as hubs SUCKS

Woody came and cleaned out the huge amount of lint build up and it works great now. I also had a stand up freezer that was not working, so he took a look at that. It turned out that the seal had slipped off so Woody re-attached it screwed it back up and it works perfectly now. Thanks Woody, It's a "God Sent" to have someone who knows what he's doing!

G&H Appliance Repair is our preferred service company for all appliance repairs. They have fixed dishwashers, coin operated washers and dryers. They are prompt, professional, easy to work with and cost effective.

I highly recommend G & H Appliance and Repair. I have used them before and didn't think twice about calling them again. I called and left a message and Debbie returned my call promptly within an hour. I told her the problem I was having with the dryer, she took down the model number and brand then scheduled an appt to fit my schedule. My appt. time was for 8-11 am and Woody arrived at 8 am!! He is very nice, takes time to answer questions, and what I like most is he explains the problem and shows/teaches me along the way. Who does that anymore??? Their prices are very fair and true to their website, there are NO hidden fees! I feel very comfortable referring G & H to my friends.

Everything went well. Woody was friendly, responsive, and timely. I rejoined Angie's List specifically to find G @ H for service again.

I called on Saturday morning and G&H were able to come look at my dryer on Monday afternoon. The repairman was extremely punctual - G&H said he'd be at my home by 1:00 pm on Monday, and he pulled up at 12:50 pm. He did not waste any time figuring out the problem, and he looked on the internet for the best price for the replacement board. He called in the order and had it shipped overnight so that he could return the next day to make the repair. He gave me an estimate for the part and labor and promised to return the next day after 1:00 pm. The next day - Tuesday - he showed up in the time frame he had given me, and was able to make the repair more easily than he imagined. He revised his estimate to reflect that the labor charge was less than the original estimate. Again, he was friendly, polite, and worked very efficiently. I stuck his sticker on the wall next to the dryer and will call him the next time any appliance gives me trouble.

I was able to set up a time with G&H very easily. They were on time and the repair went smoothly. It actually took less than 15 minutes to repair.
