Fountain Valley Carpet And Air Duct Cleaning

Description of Work: I used Fountain Valley Carpet And Air Duct Cleaning to clean my heater ducts and dryer vent. I saw them on Angie’s List for the dry vent clean out, which I definitely needed, but I also knew I needed air duct cleaning. I called them up and they gave me the Angie’s List price on the dry vent part and we negotiated the rest. They were very clean while they did the job and they cleaned up well afterwards. They put plastic around on things to be really careful when they were cleaning out the air ducts. They weren’t getting dust into the house in the process of cleaning them out. They were so much better than another company that I had come out and cleaned out the dry vent about a year and a half ago. They did a terrible job. That is why I decided I would try Angie’s List. I joined actually so I could look up who I could get to do the dryer vent.When we negotiated what the air duct cleaning would be and it seemed fair compared to when I had it done before. They do carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning and dryer vent out. They had a coupon for the dryer vent clean out and it showed me that they did all these other things. I didn’t see any coupon for the air duct cleaning, so I just called them up and talked to them over the phone. I see them offer coupons ever now and then. I would definitely have them back the next time I need the dryer vent, because completed a remodel a few years ago and we have a stackable washer and dryer now and the dry vent goes up through the roof. It’s a long vent and you have to be careful, it will accumulate a lot. I can tell when it’s happening because my dryer starts not drying things well, so I know that means the vent is backing up in there. The other company I used that did a terrible job described how they do it. They blow it threw and it comes out the vent on the roof. I know that is one way to do it. I stepped out in the back yard to see the guy on the roof and he wasn’t collecting the lent in a bag, which I had just assumed that he would do that. He was letting it blow all over my yard and the neighbor’s yard. It was horrible! These jerks don’t know what they are doing, it was really stupid! When I talked to Valley Carpet Cleaning I asked them how did they do it They said they had a hepa filter suction method and they don’t blow it up and out of the roof. They have equipment that suctions it out and that is what they did. It was a much better approach and they were completely clean while they did it, and my dryer dries as good as it did when it was new.
