+ -1 moreThey did a custom job for a great price. If we wanted similar cabinets from a custom cabinet manufacturer, it would have taken me double the money that I did spend. They did a custom hood for me which came out beautifully They are very busy but they take care of their customers. Tin was great, very helpful and personally came to supervise and make sure his installers did it right. Only cons - They are very busy so you have to be persistent, which is fine because it is your kitchen anyway. They do not negotiate at all so the price is what the price is. I love this place and I would recommend it without hesitation. I did a lot of research on cabinetmakers and contacted many of them, but the best bang for my buck was at 405 cabinets. They can do a lot with their cabinets and can customize it for any space. Ignore the bad grades that others may have given for not being a custom cabinet maker or being too busy. They are busy because they are good, they take care of their customers and people keep coming back to them.

custom cabinets, countertops
+ 0 moreVisited the provider's showroom and they appeared to be very busy with other customers, which we took as a good sign. We met with a salesperson and reviewed out plans for cabinets and countertops for a kitchen and two bathrooms and left a set of prints with them. They said that they would send us a quoted within the weeks, however, we never received a quote. Quality of the cabinets and countertops appeared to be okay - no custom cabinets, only premade semi-custom.

+ 0 moreWe had a very smooth, uncomplicated experience with Matt and the team at 405 Cabinet and Stone. Matt was easy to talk too, understood what I wanted, helpful and knowledgeable. The folks who did the actual demo, were extremely nice, careful in removing my appliances, careful with important wires and plumbing, were prompt and didn't waste time. My kitchen was removed in four (4) hours. The guys who installed the cabinets were great too...they were very good at what they do and very tidy cleaning up as they went along. And the granite men...well they did a wonderful job, skilled, prompt and tidy. Everyone I dealt with, on every level were friendly and professional. We had a great experience with Matt , 405 Cabinet and Stone and their team!! We would use them again. And we really love our kitchen and island!!!
Description of Work: We wanted new cabinets (28 yr old cabinets), as we had already decided on new tile floors (different company). We had saved for a long while to pay for both so these are the things that worked for me regarding my kitchen cabinets: I had a budget and I had to stick to it!! So I really did a lot of research on cabinets. I went to Lowe's, Home Depot, and quite a few other companies and got estimates in writing. They were all too high for me and that was without counter tops which required it's own research. You also have research garbage disposal, sink, faucets and hardware. A friend told me to try 405 cabinets and stone. I did and I'm totally satisfied with their professionalism, quality and workmanship!! Especially the price it was a total bargain!!! I would use this company again and would highly recommend them to everyone that is on a budget! With 405 they quoted me a price that included, demo and removal of old kitchen, purchase of cabinets which included granite counter tops and installation of both including a sink!! The hardware aka knobs and handles are a separate cost with every company including 405, same with the garbage disposal. For the price of $5900 the following is what was included: The demo and remove of old cabinets (another company wanted $1500 for just that) Cost of new cabinets with upgraded sink and installation. (another company quoted me $7400 for new cabinets and installation. We were able to use the garbage disposal and faucet we had because they were new and fit fine. And the hardware we didn't find what we wanted with 405 but did at Home Depot. So for under $75.00 we got a guide, the tool we needed and all the knobs. Our final cost for our kitchen with 405 cabinet and stone was $7400.00. We like our kitchen so much, we asked them to do a 6 ft Island for us with cabinets, drawers and matching granite counter top. Plus the guys who installed my counter top also added a granite ledge for my window...very cool!!! This is what worked for me: 1. Budget 2. Measurements including height of ceiling, Drawing of entire kitchen with measurements and photos of my kitchen as I didn't want it in the same configuration and I wanted to have some newer features. 3. Ideas...I had a vision of what I wanted. 4. If you are just doing cabinets...no problem. If you are doing floors and cabinets. Do the floors first. We were doing both at the same time, it all went really smooth because both companies were wonderful to work with. However, this kind of project at the same time with a working husband, a school child and three dogs in a very hot August...well, let's just say, we should have stayed at a hotel for the duration.
