+ -1 moreThe project overall went extremely well and I am very happy with all of the results. What I wouldn't do is go into a project without providing a clear idea of a budget and I would make sure that she shows the allocation of the budget for different aspects, so you can prioritize things and know where you can make trade offs if needed.
Description of Work: Rose at Decorating Den Interiors designed and project managed our bathroom renovation two years ago and did such a great job we asked her to redesign our kitchen. She helped me to clearly identify our tastes and needs, then presented options for floorplans, materials, colors, appliances, blinds, flooring and fixtures. Do trust her to develop her ideas and present how they work together. Don't be afraid of color. I wanted traditional whites and beiges, but once I saw how she used traditional materials and classic colors with modern styling, I realized how wrong I would have been and never would have realized how great the results would be. Most of all, do let her "do her thing" with the contractors. She seems to have a way of driving them to perform to higher standards, not just "good enough" standards, and gets it done ontime, on budget and to code.
