+ -1 moreI was very satisfied with the workmanship and the entire appearance of the roof. I was especially happy that the boss came midway through the job and told me that the plywood needed to be applied to cover the broken and damaged boards on the back slope of the main house, even thought the workers had replaced several broken pieces of broken boards. He said there would be no extra cost for those repairs. The final bill came in below my expectation. The main complaint that I had was that a few of the workers were smokers and they left cigarette butts on the roof, gutters, and on the ground around the house.
Description of Work: Remove about 30 to 40 % of old shingles because there were two layers. Repair broken wood boards by covering entire back sloop of main house area with 1/2 inch plywood. Replace one 4 X 8 sheet of dry rotted plywood on shop area. Replace roofing on entire 18 ,000 sq. ft. area of house, plus attached double garage with CertainTeed Landmark Series shingles. Applied torch down roofing on 10 X 15 foot attached workshop area. Cleaned up debris on ground, roof, and gutters, with the exception of approximately 20 feet of gutter on the northwest corner of the main house. All of the sheet metal vents were replaced and painted.
