 + -1 moreHe did a good job for what he did. However, we had to haggle over price...it only took him a few minutes...and I was explaining to him that I'm in a bad way financially at this time. That's why I'm doing the remodeling...so I could rent the studio apartment out. He seemed to understand the money issue, but then got very angry about it some time later. Since his main source of income is veteran's disability and state disability, I thought he would be more understanding. To his credit, he has never hassled me since.
Description of Work: Some of my lights didn't go on...he got them all working. But, initially, I had asked him to come over for another job, a remodeling job. But for some reason, I didn't call him back to do the work. The lights that didn't work were just an incidental.

 + -1 moreOMG - This Guy was terrific - My house has an array of wiring, from old Nob and tube to recently remodeled new wiring. I just called to have a 2-way box fixed that my tenant totally screwed up. I wanted it done right since my daughter and I were moving back in. This guy Roger showed up and completely corrected things I didn't even know were wrong. And he didn't charge me for it. He just wanted to make sure it was all safe and right. He and his assistant worked their butts off, Climbed in the attic (only 3' of head space) replaced the old wiring. Wired a bathroom light, so it was no longer one you have to pull on, but could now be activated from a switch. This guy was GREAT. He (they) spent probably 8 hrs working on everything. It is nice to know there are still people who care out there.
Description of Work: Called to have a 2-way switch repaired. Repaired sooo much more, without charging me extra.
