This might be the best customer service experience I have ever had in the home repair industry. My wife and I own an older home and over the course of the last few years we have become pretty good at repairing most things, however we were forced to tackle a well pump on a Sunday in the middle of pouring rain. While we thought we were on the right path, we ultimately decided to call an expert as we were making no progress, drenched, and utterly frustrated. On a whim I called Auburn Plumbing Company and after hearing the message, I figured I'd send a quick text message with our problem and if anyone was available we needed to hire them right away. I really did not expect much figuring it was a Sunday and ugly weather. Well....Dave called me a few hours later and walked me through a troubleshooting process to determine where I had gone wrong AND how to fix the problem. He was amazing, patient and did this all over the phone using terms I could understand and in a very articulate manner. Dave has my business for life and I have already recommended him to two neighbors who had well/pump issues already this year. I highly recommend Dave...he is a class act and is one of the few people in the business that understands superior customer service not only creates loyal clients but is the best form of advertising around.

It went really well. I had called numerous plumbers and no one was available. I called Auburn Plumbing and they came right out. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything was done in a timely fashion. They were even able to come out an hour earlier than expected which was perfect for my situation.

I wrote a review a year ago about a plumber improperly diagnosing a leak and having me install 5 new toilets. Well we found some new leaks in a different spot and Dave came out and spend two days figuring out the issue. Found out all our toilets weren't properly installed so it allowed the water to leak through. It's upsetting to have a review and the plumber write back to only say I was incorrect. But now Dave and his business look at our current issue and have to shake their head on how bad the original plumbers mistake was. I'm thankful for them helping me.

Dave the owner answered the phone and immediately made an appointment for 2 days from the call at a time convenient for me. He called the morning of the appointment to adjust the time of arrival which was fine with me. Luis and a helper arrived ahead of schedule and replaced our shower faucets and cartridge. We will plan to use Auburn Plumbing again. K.

He is awesome and professional. He is there when he says he would be there or he will call. His rates are reasonable even for an emergency. He is always very affordable. I can't really say enough good things about him; he is really excellent things.

There was no water coming into the house when we returned from a concert at about 6p on a Saturday. After turning the water off at the meter and doing some digging, we discovered that the main water line had broken completely on the house side of the meter and the very old additional shut off value (close to the meter) put in when the house was built was not operable. I checked Angie's List and started calling plumbers between 7:30p and 8p. Because we live in the woods and at a distance from a larger city, we were afraid we'd have to wait until Monday or pay a huge bill to get a plumber out on Sunday. I called about 6 plumbers and Auburn Plumbing was the first of 2 that called back right away. Dave Shawl was f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! Can't say enough good things about this guy. Dave lives about 30-45 mins away on the other side of the American River Canyon but agreed to be at our house at 9am Sunday morning. He arrived at 8:45a. I showed him the problem (which he said was common in the Foothills because of the force of the water pressure); he fixed the line, replaced the frozen value, explained how to shut the water off slowly (and why) using the new value, showed me where the regulator is, chatted with us about another non-pressing issue with our water heater and we were delighted with at the bill amount. He is knowledgeable, fast, pleasant, easy-going, professional. Everything you want in a plumber especially in an emergency situation.

They were great and worked hard. They were available right away and very reasonable. They had the best quote. Jay worked extremely hard and was very professional. At A' Boy!

My experience with them was fine and they worked out for me. I needed the job done immediately and they took care of it. They responded quickly and were friendly. The one objection about them was that the guy who came out had checked mud in to my bathroom because he was out in the yard and when he went in to the bathroom he had dragged it in there but it was no big deal. I thought that their pricing was really fair.

I called about noon on a Friday. Owner Dave Shawl was on a job and had another scheduled at 3pm. He estimated that he would arrive between 5pm and 6pm, which he did. He called in the afternoon to give me a time update. Dave had to hike down a short hill to get to the pump house to diagnose the problem. I'm always curious, so he explains what the causes could be, how to diagnose, and what the fix will involve. In this case, it was a faulty float and not the pump itself.I've relied on Auburn Plumbing many times in the past 2 years- I moved from one house to another. He's replaced a septic pump, installed a water heater, water softener and an under-sink water filter, as well as a whole-house filter for my well water. He's also repaired several burst pipes, leaky toilets, and shower handles. He unraveled the mystery of the outdoor irrigation system in the house I bought, showed me how to operate it, and labeled all the valves.Dave has always been very fair and honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend him.
