Rite-Way Roof Corporation

I went with a roofing manufacturer that the product that I am using has what the manufacturer says is a lifetime warranty, which is probably a 50 year warranty. The roof has to be stripped because it already has 2 re-roofs on it and is against city code. In researching the roofing I found out that GAF requires 3 qualifying accessories to get my warranty. The first is roof deck protection called tigerpaw, a leak barrier which consist of starter strip shingles that go right above the facial board and in the roof valleys, as well as ridge glass shingles to go on the peaks of the roof. They were only going to use the generic roofing paper and generic starter strip shingles in the original estimate that they gave me which would have voided the warranty on the manufacturers shingles. Their revised estimate was about $3250.00 more than their original estimate, so I did not decide to use them.
