JEA'S Appliances Repair

So I'll start by saying if you can avoid this company do so at ALL cost. I have dealt with many contractors and repair stores and have yet to experience the incompetence and unprofessionalism that Jeas Appliance has demonstrated. 31 days ago I has a dishwasher that was leaking as soon as it was turned on. After notifying American Home Shield, the scheduled an appointment with Jeas Appliance, and so Steve came out. Once Steve arrived and staring at the dishwasher in its current position with a flashlight. He determined in 5 min that a hose was compromised due to rodent damage ( he never even moved the dishwasher an inch in doing this). We of course knew that wasn't covered, however he said he could fix it for $150. And he said the mounting brackets should be replaced. I agreed to the fix. My wife was 8 month pregnant at this point so I just wanted this fixed ASAP. 2 weeks later I call back to see if the parts have arrived. Pretty crazy no one called me in that time in my opinion. I was told the parts were a couple days out and we could schedule the fix for early in the third week. Well on that day (after taking off work) Steve calls me 1 hour after the start time frame to tell me the office messed up and never ordered the part he needed. So I call the office who tells me they did and Steve just can't find it, so they will go in the office the next day, and Steve will come out in 24 hours to fix it. 24 hours later, the Office confirms it can't find the part any more and will order it again and have Steve come out in about 4 days. 4 days later (30 days now from original inspection, wife due in 5 days now) Steve shows up. Spent 5 min in my house, pulls out the dishwasher and says the intake line that runs under my house in my set up is also compromised. And that he can't do anything right now. One would assume he should have caught this 5 min problem upon the $75 initial inspection since it only required moving the dishwasher to see. So again no work can be done, Steve says he will call in in 24hours with a new quote. The next day I am told it will be $100-$150 more, but he's waiting on the info from the manufacturer LG, to make sure the parts will work. I'm told they will contact me the next day with info regarding the new schedule time and part delivery. The next day comes (today actually), after I called multiple other companies and received price quotes on the problem I receive a call from Steve. He tells me the part have been ordered and they will be in 5 days from now and he can probably do the repair in 6-7 days (38 days from the initial 5 min visit) and he can do it for $400. I informed him that his companies services were no longer welcomed in my house. American Home Shield are aware of complaints on this company, and I'm told they are looking into their choice of referring and partnering with this company. I will have professionals fix my dishwasher now, but I can not stress enough how Jeas conducts business. IF for any reason you are referred to them via AHS or looking through the yellow pages online, please save yourself the horrific experience I have and ask for someone else.
