Good workmanship and the owner was attentive to my concerns. I had an issue with some drip edge wood dry rot after the project was completed and the owner still came to my house and resolved the problem. I am pleased with the final result.

Got quotes and talked to 3 other roofers. 3rd Generation Roofing gave me the best pricing, great costomer service and followup, and their crew was efficient and clean. I would, and already have, recommended 3rd Generation Roofing to others in need of a new roof. Altogether a good project experience.

Eric came out for the estimate and provided the various options and what he would generally provide. He was patient (Unlike Skyline Roofing)in our vacillation between concrete tile and composition shingles (Provided samples for both types)and also a delay in schedule due to tenting for termites. His price estimate was in line with other estimates (Except iRoof which was almost twice as much as everyone else) He provided a complete package without me asking, including radiant barrier sheathing, roof vents, new flashings, replacement of dry rot wood (included in the overall price) etc. There was a delay in the start date due to rain (Rain in SoCal?) The first day his crew (very friendly) showed up early and did not waste any time tearing off the 40 year old concrete tile roof. Second day they completed the tear off, did some structural repairs I had asked for and started sheathing (required due to the original spaced sheathing construction) Third day (Friday)completed sheathing, building department inspection (permit etc all handled by Eric) and began installation of the felts and composition shingles. They returned on Monday to complete the roof and clean up, with final building department inspection on Tuesday. Very pleased with the final product and the clean up that the crew did. We are now ready for El Nino!

Outstanding work from the initial estimate to the final cleanup and inspection. Eric (owner) was fully engaged from start to finish, quick to answer my (neverending) text messages or calls. Not only improved the look of the house by putting on the new roof, improved it by taking the extra time to do the little things right. That's what makes his company worth considering. All the damaged 1x8 pieces were replaced under the contract, no additional $$$ for those. Well worth slightly higher price vs another lower estimate that didn't include all that replacement labor and materials; he replaced upwards of 100 board feet of wood. The people he has working for him are really conscientious. When they say they'll start at 7:30, they arrive at 7:20, and begin work right on time.

We received 3 estimates for a roof replacement and chose 3rd Generation Roofing because of recommendations made to help cool our house. Owner Eric Russell was very professional and communicated with us throughout the process. The job, including the tear-off, was done in under 3 days! We went with Eric's color suggestion and couldn't be more pleased with the final result. His workers were courteous and efficient and cleaned up after each day. We will recommend this company to our friends and family.

Had the company replace my whole house roof and garage roof. We didn’t think anything of it. They were fast and efficient. Four years down the line we noticed that part of ceiling had water damage as time progresses. Went up to attic and noticed leaks in multiple places. Called the company and left multiple messages to call back because no one ever pick up the phone. Company never did call back. We advice is NOT to use this company. Buyer beware.

We had several bids and there were definitely some diff in approach for our roof replacement. We sent several emails to Eric for his opinion and he was always happy to respond. He was not the lowest bid and not the highest, but he was the most responsive. He provided recent referrals and all of them were more than happy with him, his crew and their work- We could not agree more. So glad we went with 3rd Gen. The crew was AWESOME! Clean, polite, and experts in their field. That was proven when the inspector told us ours was just about the best roof he had seen in his 32 years inspecting!

From the start Eric has been wonderful. I only spoke to him on the phone and my brother meet with him on the bid process along with 2 other Contractors and felt that Eric was very honest so we went with him. He was not the lowest and not the highest bid, but right in the center. I am thrilled that I chose 3rd Generation to replace my roof. They are so friendly and show complete respect for my property. Eric Russell from 3rd Generation was the 1st contractor to provide a bid. In comparing all bids, his bid was the most reasonable & had a 5 yr warranty to the competitors 3 yr warranty. Eric & his crew arrived promptly, were very professional (this is important because the building they worked on is 1/2 commercial and 1/2 residential so professionalism is a concern) The job was completed efficiently, they cleaned up the area meticulously and the appearance of the roof which is visible from the windows of residential tenants is beautiful. I would definitely recommend (& have already) this company to anyone wanting quality & an honest price.

Great job done. Had a general contractor mess my roof up with lots of interior damage and leaks. Guy went out of business with the recession. 3rd Generation saw the problem and fixed it. Last storms, no problems. Great job by 3rd Generation.
