Top Quality Painting

They were very prompt and did an excellent job. Completion of work was delayed multiple times due to the contractor they recommended for dry rot repair, some siding replacement, front door installation and two security doors. Top Quality Painting actually came out several times to accommodate the contractors constant delays. I would totally recommend Top Quality.

Called Nathan on a Wednesday. We were closing on our house that Friday, and I needed painters in there that Saturday before the movers came on Monday. He said he could have it done no problem. 3 guys showed up on time Sat. Morning. I gave them all the paint and showed them to the bedrooms. I had mentioned that I needed the living room done too but it could wait, because I didn't think they would have time. They worked quickly and efficiently. I had to leave for a bit and when I came back, they were taping off living room floor with plastic. They said they could get it done too, which I was spire excited about. It took them about 8 hrs, and they cleaned everything up. All holes got filed from previous owners pictures, curtain rods etc. There were a few drips in the living room on the mantle, but I was able to get them off. But overall very satisfied. It was a little expensive but worth it to get it done before we moved in. I would recommend and will use then again.

Signed up for deal. Asked to be contacted. Contractor responded thru Angie's List email. I called twice and left messages. Finally got return call and scheduled job for 10/28. I called to verify contractor carried workers comp and liability insurance. He called back and left message saying his workers comp had "lapsed". I called and said that workers should not come to job site without proper insurance. Got no reply. Workers did not show up.

It was difficult to find a painter that was willing to remove the wallpaper and not want to just texture over it. This company did what we wanted in removing the old wallpaper first, re-texturing and repainting. I would hire them again!

He seemed like a nice guy, but it was difficult to get a hold of him. He wasn't very accessible.

Everything was fine. They're fast and efficient and they do good work!

Nathan is great. Worked over a holiday and got project started.

I purchased my deal on 9/19/13, and my fund were swept just a couple days later. I called the contact numerous times, sent 2 messages via Angie's list, and also let Angie's list know I hadn't heard back. I finally had a voice message on 10/1 from the provider, only saying he was calling me back. I called again saying if you don't have enough time to do my job, that's fine, just communicate that to me so I can hire someone else. People get busy, and I totally understand that. Still, nothing. So now I am having Angie's list refund me, which will take 7-10 days. This Big Deal is still on sale, and I would warn anyone from purchasing it. This provider is either too booked because of selling too many deals, or he has realized that's not enough profit for him to waste his time. Either way, I would say buy at your own risk!! Communication goes a long way.

Top Quality Painting did a good job painting the exterior of my house in Serrano, El Dorado Hills. Serrano (the Home Owners Asso) is very picky, requiring pre-approval of paint colors down to each item painted. Our main contact at Top Quality Paint was Herminio, who matched up the colors for us (we asked them to paint same colors as before), picked up and delivered samples for us to get approval from Serrano. Herminio was very responsive to our initial questions and requests for the matching color samples and such (email, phone). He spent initially the first couple days preping, covering windows and such, and on the third (actual painting) day, he brought 4 more people with him and they finished the painting in one full day. We did not find any mess, debris, trash, nor dripped paints anywhere, they did a clean and professional job!!! One pleasant surprise for us was Herminio even replaced (bought and installed) the broken latch on an iron gate for us (entry to the front entry area) without us asking him to, nor charging us extra for doing that. We were grateful for that as we simply just never got around to do it. I would highly recommend Top Quality Painting for your painting needs.

Very easy, job well done. I would hire them again. I love the new look of our house, it makes it seem like a brand new house!

First let me say that I bought a big deal from Angies List for 999 for a weeks worth of a painter. I wouldn't recommend doing that and wouldn't buy another one. The reason is that after the value was used up I was paying for painters by the hour. Which by the end of the job I just wanted these guys off the property as soon as possible - which helped along some of the negative outcomes I'll list below. Next time instead of buying a big deal, I will get bids from several companies and go with the one I like best. Or if I bought a big deal I'd negotiate a fixed balance on the job and not agree to pay by the hour. As for the job itself here are my issues: 1) Nathan said the job would take x number of hours. It actually took them 5 hours longer. 5 hours x 4 guys x $35 is an extra $700 I didn't plan for. 2) Preparation was poor, flaky paint not scraped off, mud wasp nests not removed ( and painted over) I asked for one spot to be caulked at least 3 times, it finally was only to be immediately painted over, not allowing the caulk to dry. 3) Painting was rushed. Again part of the problem induced by paying by the hour. If I had been paying by the job I would have insisted that they allow the first coat to completely dry before applying the second, instead it was still tacky. Overspray was widespread: on the ground, door handles, electrical plugs, fence, on the deck, windows. In a job this size I would expect some, but not as much as I found. I've also had to go over and recoat several areas that needed more paint. I also want to mention that they were not kind to the landscaping close to the house, lots of broken branches. 4) Clean up was poor. Some of the decorative rocks I asked them to be sure they protected, got painted - some of these rocks they cleaned up (the ones I saw). When I wasn't looking they threw the rest of the rocks that got painted into the ivy. They completely forgot to remove tape and plastic from one of the windows. After two weeks I was still finding paper, bits of tape, tubes of caulk. In the area they were working I cleaned up several soft drink bottles and wrappers. And curiously there was a little bit of aluminum foil stuffed in the fence where they had been hanging out - the cop said it was either crystal meth or sugar, he refused to test it so we'll never know for sure. Whatever it was I'm glad I found it before my son did. As I mentioned I was anxious to get rid of these guys so I didn't insist that they clean up more - as that would have cost me more money.

The service was great and they did everything that I asked them to do.

Excellent! They did quality work but it took them some time to get them scheduled. They were late but they told me they were going to be late.

Herminio Sanchez and his crew did a great job. I have stone in front of the house and the crew worked diligently in covering the stone, mahogany door, all windows, patio furniture and even the swimming pool, so there would not be any over-spray. Painting the exterior took three day, which he had promised. We are extremely happy with his work and would recommend him to others. The only recommendation I have with Top Quality Painting is for them to be prompted.

The deal that was listed for this company Was 460$ For two men eight hour I was told because of the cost of the paint It would be 680$. Hey prep with high-pressure wash would be $80.

I live out of state and needed someone who would get the job done quickly and professionally. Nathan was immediately responsive to my time-sensitive needs and provided me with excellent details as to how the interior would be painted .... we discussed the colors that would be used for the walls and the ceilings. I was very pleased with Nathan's follow up with me once the job was completed. Although I have not personally seen the finished job, my property manager has inspected it and reports back to me that everything looks terrific and absolutely NO mess was left behind. Nathan made sure that patch work on the walls was completed before painting and things are back to where they need to be for the next tenants. The price was excellent, but even more importantly the job was done well.

I had been wanting to get this done for months, called a few painters on my own....hesitated because of the ridiculous price I was quoted. I guess when you live in a nice home, gated community, they all think you can afford to pay the high prices, which is not always true. Anyway, I decided to go to Angies List as I have seen it advertised many times on TV. I was wondering why I had not done this sooner. What a GREAT place to find what you are looking for. After I paid for my two painters on line, (on Angies List as it was a special) I called the company to touch base with them. I spoke to the owner, explained to him what I was needing to have painted, etc. He was a very friendly and very helpful. We set up a time for the paining to take place and all was well. These painters were wonderful, they taped, everything, banister, windows, trim molding, base boards, floor, steps, etc. The only thing exposed was the wall and ceiling that was going to get painted. Then out came the airless sprayer and after the job was done, they cleaned up, they removed all the tapping and plastic and I had to tell you, there was not one mark on anything that should not have been painted. My wooden floors looked great, they swept up and when they left, I was able to move the furniture back into the room. They did not miss a spot. I was very pleased. They were friendly, professional and got the job done in the time span that they were hired.

Nathan is very professional and thorough in his explanation of all that would be done. His bid was very appropriate and he was very flexible since I wanted to use a particular type of paint for the front of my home. He provided and painted a few samples of paint and that was very helpful. He tends to be a very busy guy so sometimes I would leave a message and he would usually return my call within a day or so. Our home was spray washed when we were not home so I never did meet the men who did that. When four men arrived the next day to begin the work, they told me that they were not given the info regarding the details of what Nathan and I had agreed upon. So I had to go over that info myself with his foreman George. They were very agreeable and helpful. They covered the home with at least two coats of paint and it looks great. They put new door hardware on for me on the front door and also painted and reinstalled the new hardware on our new door on the back. So we were very glad for that. George also spray painted a hose rack for me. He was very helpful at every turn. We did have to call Nathan back because of some peeling paint near our front door which was due to some greasy substance that was not properly cleaned but Nathan himself came to repair that and did a great job.

Herminio came out and provided the estimate and handed me a list of every detail of the work they would be performing. When we decided to go with Top Quality, Herminio came over with samples of paint we were interested in. He actually painted a small portion of the exterior wall and trim so that we could see how it would look when finished. He was prompt and very detailed. Once we decided on paint choice he scheduled us for August 7th, and they finished the next day August 8th. His crew of about four guys came out, they power washed the house, made all necessary repairs or replaced all rotted wood, taped off all gutters, and fixtures. They painted the exterior twice, primered and painted the trim. They painted the garage door and to my surprise they painted the door that leads from the garage to the side of the house. They went above and beyond. The entire crew was very prompt and professional. When the crew finished, Herminio called me to follow up and to ask if we were satisfied, which we were. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again, if needed.

EXCELLENT. HE BROUGHT 5 GUYS AND THEY WORKED AS A TEAM AND COMLETED ALL THE WORK IN 8 HRS.

It was a very pleasant experience. We took advantage of an Angie's List "Big Deal." Nathan, the owner, came out and looked at the work that needed to be done. He then sent Juan who worked very hard for four days and did an excellent job. Would recommend Top Quality painting for any paint job and if we need any future work done, we will certainly call them.

We are so happy with the epoxy job Nathan did on our garage floor... I find myself wandering out to the garage throughout the day just to admire it! What really stood out for us about Top Quality Painting is how committed they are to customer satisfaction. Nathan is a hardworking contractor who genuinely takes pride in a job well done and this resonates when you behold the finished project!! We are so pleased with their work that we have already scheduled them for another job!

I emailed them to schedule an appointment with them, but they never responded.

The painters were wonderful. They were thorough, no mess and did an A+ job. I have them a C in responsiveness because of the Angie’s list ad it took Nathan a while to get back to me. I had to call him three times before he responded and there was confusion on which Monday he was working. I gave them a B on punctuality because they were supposed to be there at 8:30 and I waited more than an hour and a half for them to arrive. Thank goodness by husband was available to wait for them.

I ended up not using them coupon, but when I called them and left a voicemail, they called me back promptly, and the person I spoke to was very friendly and professional when she checked the schedule for me.
