Description of Work: We had a gas insert installed in our wood burning fire place. We love it. The owners are absolutely wonderful and did a great job.No more hauling wood,do not burn days,ashes,etc. Just click the remote and you have a warm,clean,attractive fire.

Description of Work: Two workers installed a gas fireplace insert, also the gas line and electrical outlet. It took about 3-4 hours. They did an outstanding job.

Description of Work: Purchased the high efficiency gas insert; 33k but with decorative front (all black), and decorative glass. Fits perfectly into my 1928 brick fireplace, and works wonderfully! Paid an extra $100 for the remote control where i can set a temp and it will automatically turn on and off. Can turn the gas off during the summer so it's not constantly running. |I have an old 900sq ft home and it heats up the house nicely in the winter; did not turn on my central heat once last winter once this was installed! |They were very helpful when i visited the showroom in Folsom, and the installation went very well with 2 very professional gentlemen who came on time, knew what they were doing, and ensured the unit worked perfectly before they left. |Would definitely recommend this business and their products!

Description of Work: I basically paid $100 for a sales pitch. They were offering the design of their product with little or no flexibility. Had I been offered an actual design instead of a hard sell on their product, I might be less chagrined.

Description of Work: The Hot Spot installed a gas fireplace last spring and this winter, after using it for weeks it suddenly wouldn't light. I called the Hot Spot and they told me what to do and then came out twice to fix the problem (batteries in two locations). They did not charge for those two visits. We agreed to set up a yearly maintenance service that will probably then have a fee. They're always courteous and competent.

People at the Hot Spot were personable and were able to give me advice over the telephone. They kept in touch with me when the logs came in and were very good about arranging a time for installation. They kept in touch on installation day. The young man who installed was polite, efficient, took care about keeping area clean, and did the job. All interactions with the company were pleasant and efficient.

Description of Work: Gas logs were added to our fireplace. Both Carol and Jason were fantastic to work with. They were very responsive to my questions. The installation went very well. Organized, thorough and cleaned up. Can't wait for the weather to change so we can enjoy it. Also, can't wait to order new fireplace glass doors. They offer us a 25% discount.
