+ -1 moreKevin returned all contacts promptly and always followed up with answers to our inquiries. We took 4 bids for the job and his bid came in at the lowest price. We had seen his work in a remodel of a friend's bathroom and we liked the work he did for them. He stuck to the price and conditions set forth in his bid and contract. He picked up the tile and grout from the manufacturer and delivered it to our home. He consulted with us about the measurements and configurations of the tile. He took 4 days to install the tile (as he had estimated) and ensured that the tiles were laid level and flat. He laid the tile in the dining room in the pattern that I had discussed with him. He used a new type of grout that I requested after educating himself about the installation of the grout. He also told us that if there were any problems with the floor to please contact him. Overall, Kevin did an excellent job from beginning to end -- and all with a smile and great attitude!!!
Description of Work: Solid Solutions tore out vinyl floor in kitchen and carpet in dining room (approx. 330 sq ft), leveled concrete floor, designed tile configuration for dining room, installed porcelain tile and grouted tile. During the process they moved the fridge and garbage compactor to ensure that tile was laid on floor in these areas. Attempted to move dishwasher, but the lines connecting the dishwasher prevented movement. Also ensured that tile was laid to replace coving of vinyl tile and that matching molding strips were installed at floor transitions.
