I contacted Tim at Patterson Door Service to ask about replacing my 1-car garage door and we made an appointment to meet at my house. I wanted to have a door made to match the original mid-century modern architecture of the building so he provided some options and price estimates at that meeting, took measurements, and called back the next day with exact price quotes for each option. I chose the less expensive one-piece option (as opposed to a sectional roll-up door) with T1-11 vertical siding material to match the siding on the house. Since the door was being custom built, it took a couple weeks until the day of installation. The day before the installation date, he found out from the door maker that they weren't done building it yet and they needed an extra day. To make up for it Tim came to install the door on Labor Day as soon as he was able to get the door from the manufacturer's hands. I really appreciated the prompt service. The installation went well and the door had all the details I asked for, including vertical joints on the T1-11 material that line up perfectly with the vertical joints on the siding above the door opening. He also fine tuned the hardware, straightened up the crocked brackets and mounted the motor in a slightly better way so the door now opens and closes much more smoothly than before. All this costed less than I was expecting, and I'm very happy with the results.

He was fabulous and I am single now, and so afraid of being taken advantage of so I am so grateful when somebody simply repairs what needs to be repaired. He could have easily conned me for the service but he just charged me for it as a service call. He called when he was going to be just a little bit late. He was totally professional and I will recommend him to everybody I know.
